Otto is feeling a bit down, and his emotions continue to plummet when he misreads friends greetings as for him when they are for someone else. Will anyone help Otto out of his sadness?

Aww, poor Otto. Thankfully, his friends eventually clue in and help him feel better. A cute story that can lead to a discussion about how to tell others you are feeling down. And how to help someone feeling sad. Hand this to beginning readers who like robots and animals.

After thinking two animals were coming to give Otto something to help him feel better, he has his guard up when Pip comes with a kite. But all ends well.

Otto feels sad when he doesn't get a hug or pie, but a friend made him a kite and he loves flying kites.
