This is my first book by this author and I found it a highly enjoyable read.

Marsha is a plus sized model building a body positive Instagram as Marshmallow a nickname she’s had since school, when she is contacted by none other than her celebrity crush to star with him on the cover of a romance novel. This is a dream come true in so many ways but the dream doesn’t compare to really being in Carter’s arms, and although this feels real she knows that guys like him don’t go for women like her or could Carter really want her?

Carter has been obsessing over Marshmallow since her first saw her in his instagram feed, and now the perfect opportunity to make his move asking her to pose with him on the cover of a new romance novel, but this is only the beginning for them as far as he’s concerned. He means to make her his but will she give them a chance or let others opinions destroy a perfect love?

Very enjoyable read and will read more from this author. 3.5🌟

Primer libro de las dulces curvas y...

Sí, fue corto, fácil de leer, tuvo una idea muy buena sobre las chicas de talla grande, daba un mensaje positivo pero no se desarrolla nada de eso ni sus personajes. Se perdió el punto!

Era muy inverosímil que esto sucediera, quizás me equivoco y pueda sucederle a alguien, que se yo! pero estuvo exagerado desde el comienzo.

Puedo decir que me encantó la actitud de Carter, era protector y no tenía prejuicios, para él toda clase de cuerpos son hermosos.

Ahora Marsha, me desconcertó. Ella estuvo un tiempo en las redes, tuvo su buena parte de gente que la molestó por su peso y se viene abajo con lágrimas por algunos comentarios feos de unos usuarios!? Tanto # para ser positiva para nada! Me resultó algo cobarde tengo que decirlo. Yo les hubiera contestado como Carter con ese vídeo en vivo!

Fue un insta-love que me decepcionó un poco.

OTT insta-love this was a super quick little read, that embraces curves on a woman. This little read has a hero who happens to be a model for romance book covers and a heroine who has learnt to embrace her curves and models to encourage other women to be happy with themselves. The two have done some social media stalking and want each other before even meet.

Moments that had me smiling.

Good for a mini break or when you're travelling from/to work and don't want to risk getting so entranced by a story you miss your stop, but still want to be entertained.

Pretty sweet and hot. I was warned it was an insta-love in the synopsis so I was prepared. I don’t usually enjoy those type of books but this was okay, super sweet and up to date in the technological era we now live in lol. I appreciated the epilogues, I really like seeing their HEA years later. Again, this was okay but it was body positive and spread a good message so we stan.

Awww, I absolutely adored this curvy girl romance. Something about Carter and Marsha was just spot on for me.

Marsha is an Instagram plus size model and the book even featured some of the actual hashtags that I’ve seen and used before. #effyourbodystandards Yessss! I was so excited when I saw that.

Carter is a hunky dude who models for romance book covers. Oh god, I can just imagine how fucking hot he is... drooling. I have literally drooled over some of these covers on books I’ve read so the idea of Carter as one of those dudes just got me all got and bothered. 🥵

The fact that someone like Carter wanted a plus size girl just hit home. I definitely connected to this story.. especially when Marsha kept thinking it could’ve been a prank and then eventually letting all the negative comments on social media get her down. And the way Carter stepped it up? Ugh, swoon!

The epilogues were perfect. I absolutely loved this one. So much.

Marsha is like i said a ig plus size model who is body positive and curves and i love it!! She gets a dm from her favorite gorgeous cover book model telling her he cant wait to shoot with her. Screams everywhere!!! Carter is a alpha hunk who is already head over heels for his girl he loves her personality her body he just wants to be around her always.

Their photoshoot heats up and after is some good dirty dirty.. very insta!! But their is some drama.. now he has to convince his woman he is all in.


No ow/om drama, no cheating,tinyyyyy drama,sexy times, no virgins

Just Corny

I know it warns you about instalove but these characters don't know anything about each other except what the other has posted on Instagram, a site that's notorious for people being fake, when they star at least thinking about love and forever and at some points saying it. I mean basically their entire relationship is based on superficial face attraction. The age difference doesn't bother me, the size difference I find pretty awesome, but the fact this doesn't go deeper than surface attraction to give these characters any depth outside of bully trauma really didn't do it for me. I mean he intentionally has unprotected sex with her the first time they have sex with a stated desire to get her pregnant and lock her to him forever. They have this sex only what might be hours, if that, after meeting. They run to Vegas 3 days later. There's no hey what's your favorite color conversations, not that that's important specifically but it's more of an example of things you just know about people you're actually in love with. This is beyond instalove it's a completely superficial, rushed relationship with no characters depth. And the dirty talk during the sex scenes was downright cringeworthy. Like seriously it was abrupt and just in no way sexy. Finally their epilogue careers that they transition to with no mention of actual training just blow this out of the water for ridiculous.

Wade has a great idea here because body positivity is important and I love that a muscled manly model is drooling over a plus sized one. That is amazing but without taking the time to really develop the characters and let us get to know them as they get to know each other the story just fall flat and impossible to even take seriously.

Marsha siempre ha sido una chica gordita. Cuando era una niña sus compañeros se metían con ella y la llamaban Marsha la Marshmallow hasta que ella se iba llorando a casa. Pero finalmente ella decidió luchar contra ello y hacer de los insultos un nombre propio y a día de hoy Marsha es una gran modelo con el apodo Marshmallow. Así que aunque es conocida lo último que se espera es que el guapo y atractivo Carter Reed, el hombre de las portadas de sus novelas románticas le proponga un sesión de fotos juntos... Y mucho más.

No conocía a esta autora y es la primera vez que leo algo de ella pero puedo decir que no me ha decepcionado nada. Si encuentro más libros de ella y son tan buenos como este creo que la sumaré a mi lista de autoras de libros cortos.
Esta historia como ya he dicho es cortita, rápida, dulce hasta que da adquirí, instalove más rápido que la velocidad de la luz, muuuuuy poquito drama y obviamente, final super mega feliz! Con dos epílogos incluidos!

Ha estado muy bien para pasar el ratito!

This is the first book that I have read from this author and I really like it. It was a quick steamy read. Marsha and Carter were so good together. The chemistry between them was off the charts hot. This book had it all – romance, humor, steam and good body positivity. I will be reading more of her books.

A cute insta-love read with a nice body positive message. I'm sorry, I still don't believe that a BBW is going to end up with a ripped book cover model but that's probably just my insecurities talking. Never the less, it's a sweet read with some great lines. There just wasn't a whole lot of plot to it which kept it from a five star rating for me.

Short, sexy and sweet.

A quick, sweet as marshmallow, low-angst, hot read !! The story is pretty much insta-love, romance paradise packed in a few pages, with not as many clichés as there could be, in a surprisingly refreshing take on a what could have been a formulaic trope.

There is a bit of a struggle with self esteem stemming from social expectations, past experiences and online bullying (not too dire or too angsty), which could maybe be a trigger for some readers. Overall I consider it to be well handled for this format and realistically enough (for a short installment, hot, specific subgenre, plot Romance).

I will go looking for the next one in this series!

This is the first time that i have read a book by this author and wow she has me hooked, This book was funny super romantic serious (at times) and also gives a very good body positive vibe.

The other reason i loved this book was because of how much i relate to Marsha as a curvy girl myself everyday you cannot get by without social media or real life without being body shamed. I only wish there were more Carter's in this world like there is in this awesome book.

Wow

Okay, look if you’ve read the synopsis, you know what you’re getting. I’m not use to this level of insta love but I can see this not being everyone’s cup of tea.

Either way my rating totally has to do with the fact that the scenes were spicy and the book is something I would re read when I need a palette cleanser from my more intense fantasy and contemporary reads. It’s quick and dirty in the best way and I liked Carver and Marsha as characters. This book doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not which is refreshing.

I’m happy I took a random chance on this book that I literally found only 1 hr ago on my GR feed because one of my friends was currently reading it or at least added it to their want to read tbr. I’m definitely reading the rest of this series (9 books total) and I’m going to enjoy every last one.

Plot: Carter and Marsha are both cover models for romance books and Carter has a serious crush on Marsha. He's arranged for the two of them to work together and he's finally going to make his move.

Commentary: I loved this story (and am loving the whole series as well!). I loved the way the hero and the author (the one in the book) kind of worked together on the romance, and I love that the heroine went into the relationship with some confidence of her own (not that it wasn't shaken, but it was repaired pretty quickly by our dreamy hero!).

Megan Wade is a brand new author for me. Her book was recommended to me by a trusted friend and I'm so happy that I did. I absolutely LOVED Marshmallow and can't wait to read more in the series.

The story itself was very short and I wish it would have been a little longer. Mainly because I'm greedy and wasn't ready to let Carter and Marsha go lol Love at first sight, instaeverything, Marriage, babies and Happily Ever After. 100% safe from abuse of any kind, no om/ow drama, no cheating. Just an OTT sugary sweet story.

I have an issue with this story and it's not its fast development nor its insta-love. There's just something off about how Carter is portrayed. He's just not...real; as bizarre as that sounds. His character just doesn't quite add up. To me at least, this was so jarring that even escapism wasn't possible during this read. He's presented like The Answer To All Your Problems. I didn't mean to analyse the characters in-depth, but he felt so 'off' to me, I couldn't ignore it.
