Rate this book
Wildlife explorers Wilfred and Olbert each want to discover a new animal and win the Nature Discovery Contest. One day, a butterfly that they’ve never seen before flies in through the window, and they both set off on a hectic chase to follow it. They stumble through many different places, including the forest, the ocean, and the desert, all the while encountering hungry animals, an avalanche, and fruit that makes them shrink! Beautiful story of friendship and silliness that incorporates bio STEM data in a bright, fun way. What’s not to love??
I appreciate the bio portion of this STEM journey. So many STEM options are chem or code. The mazes and trails are unusual and fun and give additional planes on which to consider the book experience.
