For those of you late finding Elle Thorpe's amazing 'Only You' series. This collection will take you on a roller coaster of highs and lows. But, you'll be so glad you went along for the ride. I've just re-read them all and they are still a fabulous read.
Has it really been 2 years???
Elle, you are one of my favorite authors.
BOOK#1 ONLY THE POSITIVE
Only The Positive is the first in Elle Thorpe's ‘Only You’ series. It doesn’t feel like a newbie’s book. The writing is powerful, skilled and at times heart-wrenching in its poignancy.
Reese has moved away from home, running from a mistake she made and the devastation left in its wake. She’s drawn to the job as a bartender at Lavender Fields racecourse and it’s here she meets Low. Their attraction is instantaneous, and they have some sparky banter during her first day, but Low likes to play the field and someone else captures his eyes before they can take their interest in each other any further.
At least until the next night.
Things are going great until Low gets a phone call, and everything changes.
And these changes aren’t as simple as a crazy ex or not wanting a relationship. They are deep and life-changing. I was pretty stunned when the author went with this topic, but she made a fantastic job of making it real. There were tears, and painful decisions for both of them while they worked through their growing desire to be together. The story was fairly slow-burning as far as the sexual aspect went, but it worked for this particular topic. It allowed their love and true affection to shine through and take the reader with them. They had a small collection of friends that helped see them through the hard times and now one of those friends is about to get their own story.
BOOK#2 ONLY THE PERFECT
Only The Perfect is the second book in the ‘Only You’ series, it follows Low’s best friend Jamison whom we met in Only The Positive and the woman who will capture his heart. Elodie Chalmers. These two have the unwanted pleasure of being at the wedding of their respective exes.
Jamison hated the way his ex treated him, especially after the way he discovered she was cheating on him, and then she had the nerve to invite him to the reception? Well, Jamison would never say no to free food and booze!!!.
Elodie was shocked when her high school sweetheart up and left her just a few weeks earlier, and now she’s at his wedding… with their six-year-old son in attendance. It’s crazy and wrong, but what can she do?
Suffer in silence until she can leave. Not for one minute did she think she’d meet anyone there. Never mind her ex’s new wife’s ex-boyfriend or end up leaving with him
Not quite the normal way to hook up, but that’s what they did, only to realize they have more feelings them either of them expected.
Jamison is ready to give his all, almost from the get-go, but Elodie is more gunshy and even though they share an explosive chemistry and can’t get enough of each other, she’s wary of getting in too deep, too fast. It’s not just her she has to worry about, she has a young child who could get hurt too.
Jamison is hot and sweet, he’s sex on legs but when pushes for more than Elodie is ready to give, she backs away, knows her baggage is not what he signed up for.
Jamison is made of stronger stuff than she knows and isn’t ready to give up.
I loved Jamison, and I was pretty fond of Elodie, especially when she finally found her voice. This was a quick, fast paced and sexy read.
As I was reading the end, I knew that one of the secondary characters was about to get their own story and I thought to myself. Oh, no, no way can this person be redeemed. But, you know what? This is the attraction of Elle Thorpe’s writing, and proof of how good an author she is. Because, I do want to read the next book and I’m actually looking forward to it.
BOOK#2.5 Only The Truth
I have to be honest here. I went into this book with all kinds of doubts and preconceptions about Bree. After all, she hadn’t done much to endear herself in the previous two books. To be brutally honest, she was a bitch, a nasty, horrid, and I thought, irredeemable one at that.
But, you know what?
I was wrong, and I don’t mind admitting it. Not one bit.
Bree had her issues and yeah, maybe she handled some of them badly. LOL. No maybe about it, but, you know, sometimes we just can’t face up to our mistakes.
Sometimes, we just need a little help. A push in the right direction. Thankfully, Bree got that because she needed to be set on the correct path.
Damien was a sweet and sexy, nerdish doctor and this first meeting was anything but ‘cute’. Bree wanted nothing to do with him after that, only she couldn’t get away from him as he was her new neighbor.
There’s some snarky banter, a fake relationship, and some steamy scenes before the end.
We all want a HEA, do we?

BOOK#3 ONLY THE NEGATIVE
It feels much longer since I first read Elle Thorpe’s debut book, Only The Positive, in September last year. She has grown in leaps and bounds since then, her writing only getting better with each successive book. Now on her 3rd book of the ‘Only You’ series and it’s time for Gemma and Ryker’s story.
We first met a younger version of Gemma briefly in her sister Reece’s book Only The Positive, but here we get to met her as a grown-up. Ten years have passed since that time and although Gemma still lives and works on her parents farm, she longs to get ‘out there’ on her own. But, even though that’s what she wants, she lacks confidence in her abilities to be able to care for herself alone.
When Adam Ryker comes back into her life, working on the farm, she wants nothing to do with him. He was once her friend in high school, but then he did a despicable thing and it left it’s indelible mark on Gemma’s soul.
Adam knows he made a mistake all those years ago. He wants to make it up to Gemma but she’s not going to make it easy for him.
I loved watching this tentative relationship as it flourished into a true connection, one that could last a lifetime. Elle has a true grasp on the emotions of her characters and her words flow beautifully across the page. For an author who work spans less than six months in publishing, this is a real feat of accomplishment.
If you’re new to Elle, make sure to pick up Only The Positive first, before diving in Only The Negative. It’s not totally necessary but will give you some insight into the background of this amazing, heartwarming story.
And of course, it needs to be said. I can’t wait to read Bianca and Riley’s story. They’ve been secondary characters since the beginning, so it’s about time for them to shine.

Only You Series in a Complete 5 Romance Books Box Set by Elle Thorpe. I've read every single one, but now you can own them all in one box set.
1) ONLY THE POSITIVE is not your usual love story. It starts off with Reese at a very sad and lonely place in her life, looking forward to starting a new job. It was as a bartender at Lavender Fields Racecourse. She always loved being around horses and Lavender Fields reminded her of home. A flicker of excitement lit within her for the first time in so long, when she met Low the bar manager and her new boss. This is what she needed. A new job. A new beginning. A new guy to lose herself in for a while. The past year had been one mess after another. She had barely kept her head above water. It was time for a turning point.
It was one of the longest bars that Reese had ever seen. She worked the section right next to her delicious and sexy-looking boss. She had trouble paying attention to her job, and needed to stop staring at him. He was flirty and his section was the most popular with both the woman and the men. His tip jar was over-flowing, but Reese learned from the other female employee, that they shared tips at the end of the day. Real and raw and a fabulous read!
Only the Positive
I’m positive I want this. I want us. Always.
This book was nothing I expected it to be - Elle Thorpe's debut novel confronts some big topics in Low and Reese's love story but I enjoyed the way that everything was treated, with respect and love. A really good read.

Who needed perfect when I had all of this?
Jamison and Elodie have a great meet cute - at the wedding of both of their exes! This story was funny, sweet and super sexy. I really enjoyed it.

This was a great ending to a brilliant series. Bianca and Riley have been sidestepping each other since the first book and to see them fight for a happily ever after was beautiful. A story that had be captivated from the first page to the last.

This was a great ending to a brilliant series. Bianca and Riley have been sidestepping each other since the first book and to see them fight for a happily ever after was beautiful. A story that had be captivated from the first page to the last.

This series is packed full of absolutely terrific characters who Elle Thorpe molds and shapes into terrific couples. They're all lovable in their own unique ways, and once you've met any of them, you'll want to know the rest, which makes a boxset completely perfect. Each story has its own brand of emotion, angst, steam, and chemistry. The stories are engaging, the characters are rich and colorful, and the dialogue is witty. The boxset is 1000+ pages of swoony romance that is perfect for getting lost in and forgetting this crazy old world for a bit.

Well worth it
I have already read and enjoyed the cowboy series by this author, so seeing this box set on special offer was a no brainer to buy. Five lovely stories, a group of friends working at a bar on an Australian race course. Each story different, and not afraid to be hard hitting. Yep, definitely worth reading and l can’t recommend this author’s work enough.

You will fall in love with all the amazing men & women of this series. They are all amazingly head strong and loving in their own way. This group of friends have seen each other through so many battles yet their love and commitment for each other and for family is demonstrated in each story. Each of these book are full of heart, heat, emotion, love
as well as some twists and turns to keep you guessing. These stories kept me entertained and captivated until the end. Totally addicted to all the Aussie jargon and the different settings in these books. A great series! Get yours today!

A MUST read
What a lovely series this was. I'd already read a different series by Elle Thorpe and had thoroughly enjoyed that, so thought I'd read more of her books and these certainly didn't disappoint.
I will definitely now look to see what other books she has so I can read them

Easy Read!
This is an easy to read series with real-life scenarios and conflict. Still has lots of spice. Lost and found love with trials and sacrifice. I gave it a 4 star only because it's a lot more tame than the St. View series that made me so intrigued with Elle's writing.

Super great series

I’m sure this content is what some readers are looking for, but it wasn’t for me, at least at this point in time. The 2 stars is based on me only reading one of the 5 stories. I do not plan n reading the rest.

This boxset has been sat in my kindle for a while, I’m not sure why I waited so long to read it because it was fantastic. I loved each and every story. The characters were all so likeable, and relatable, by the time I finished the last book I felt like I was part of the gang.
