Where could llama be hiding? Where’s My Llama? is a colorful board book that encourages little ones to follow the hoof prints to help find llama. With touch-and-feel elements and a lift-the-flap surprise, this board book is full of animal friends to discover.
Becky is a children’s book editor and sometimes author from the South West of England. Her favourite things are animals, books about magic, and anything sparkly. In a parallel universe she lives in Hawaii, where she works in a dog sanctuary and surfs until the sun sets beyond the horizon.
A fun board book for very young children, with nice bright illustrations and ‘touch and feel’ panels with different textures on a distinguishing part of each depicted animal. You follow the llama footprints, past a giraffe, a fox and a rabbit to find the hidden llama behind a pull-down flap. A nice way to introduce children to some new animals. Bought as part of my mission to provide my new great-niece with a collection of children’s books
Touch and feel books are always popular and Where’s My Llama? by Becky Davies is no exception. Children will enjoy exploring textures in this board book about trying to find a lost llama. Exploring objects and textures is always fun for children. You could also make a game out of this by exploring objects at home. For children ages 6 months to 3 years old.
This book is my 9 month olds favorite! She loves the textures and has so much fun finding the llama. It's probably rated 3 stars because it's a very simple, short book but that's the purpose. It's a sensory book for babies, not a story book.
