A great story told by the daughter of Mr.Frank Sinatra. I have the audio book of this...and while the story was somewhat simular to the book "The way you wear your hat" It was good to hear some of the same stories coming from his daughter. She also takes time to clear the air up about all the false claims of Sinatra's constant accusations of being involved with the mafia.

Nancy's voice does kind of bore me when she isn't singing i'll admit....but the added music clips of her dad were an added bonus to the book on tape.

Went to see Frank Sinatra - The Man and His Music, this evening at the London Palladium. Very life affirming. I loved it. I had to hold back the tears, actually. With every lovely summer's day, I'll always think of you that way... I'll be looking at the moon, but I'll be seeing you. Maybe not fashionable but I love my romantic viewpoint. Nothing changes me or how I feel; I'm as fresh today as I was in the April of my youth. Older and wiser, and more loving than ever. For others, the mind seems to get stiff long before the body does.

It should of been titled my life as frank sinatra's daughter. Nancy jr had more crap about her than I ever cared to know. Frank may have been able to sing when he was younger, but as he got older he stopped singing and just talked the words to music. He should have hung it up decades before he died.

Honestly this book felt so slow, dragging and Nancy's perspective didn't add much to facts about Frank Sinatra or his life. It felt as if every line was rehearsed and written by AI ( Obviously that wasn't an issue when the book was published) but it read as robotic.

I wish I could give more credit to Nancy but this book was dull enough I wish she did hire a shadow writer or a better one. The book lacked depth and was full of so many bizarre and odd metaphors that it made me feel like I was reading a book that was more of a love letter than a daughter retelling her fathers life.

By the time I finished I never want to hear a word about Frank or Nancy Sinatra. I think I learned more about Nancy and her overarching opinions and childish idealization than I learned about Frank.

I am unsure how you can make a book sound so falsely sentimental and void of any real intrigue.

this was so detailed and documented practically every event that happened in franks professional career. it doesn’t read like a normal biography because it just gives a date and what happened that day. some of the dates just simply said a show happened, but others were very thorough with fun stories. the pictures throughout helped with picturing the people and what life felt like at that time as well. fun!

This is one of the most informative books on the career and life of Frank Sinatra.this book is written by Frank's daughter, Nancy, whom has her own distinct recording career, she goes through a timeline of Frank's career. Adding a story with mist entries.

She includes statements from people who worked and knew Frank, such as Frank's first wife, Nancy, Frank Crapra, Nelson Riddle, and Mia Farrow (Frank's third wife).

This book is up Nancy growing as Frank Sinatra's daughter. He doted on her and he helped her make her own music. This book is a personal labor of love about her father.
