Anither EU information comic, and another one written by Rud Miel, who seems to have gone all in for producing these books. He's by far the most used writer for these comics. Sometimes this works well, as in the book Sju livsöden - Vägen till framgång med Europeiska socialfonden, where he starts of with real life stories. In this book, though, the stories are fictitious, and not at all as convincing.

The basic idea here is to base six short stories on EU run projects to reduce differences in living standers across Europe. The stories are set in six different countries and are illustrated by six different artists, showing how lives have been changed because of the projects. These are not all that convincing, though well done on an artisan level. The people tend to say things you would never say, often stressing the importance of the EU supported project, sounding like actors in badly acted commercial. And sadly, Miel has utilised the over-used method of trying to link all stories, even though they take place in different countries. Probably an idea that sounded good on the production stage, but only adds to the feeling of make believe when reading this book.

The art is overall OK, with a few that shines with some true artistic integrity. For this book the EU has actually dipped into the vast pool of professional comics artists out there, even tough we're stil talking about second or third rung of artists... Oh well, it's a lot better than some other EU comics, which looks like they were illustrated by someones young relative...

I'm going to try to get hold of, read and review all comics officially made by the EU. So far, I've covered the following:

* Rebonds
* Hidden Disaster
* Competition in Europe it's your deal
* Infected
* Julia's and Steven's Adventure: Discovering the World of Organic Farming
* Sju livsöden - Vägen till framgång med Europeiska socialfonden
* En berättelse om tre generationer bönder
* All You Need is Space
* Partners

If you want to read any of these books, most are available as pdf:s to download for free, at the EU online bookshop .
