The Silent Syndrome: Women and Doctors Reveal How Routine Medical Procedures Cause Infertility, Miscarriages and Asherman's Syndrome Compiled

Rate this book
This book is dedicated to telling the amazing stories that have arisen out of this group of special women: stories of women who were given no hope by their doctors but ended up with babies, and stories of heroic women who ended up not being able to get pregnant or moved on to adoption or surrogacy. This book would not exist without the courageous efforts of Poly Spyrou, who founded Ashermans.org more than a decade ago and continues to provide the tireless vision and leadership that brings this online Asherman's community together. Ashermans.org is now a non-profit organization working to educate women across the globe about Asherman's Syndrome. A remarkable collective memoir, this book is a testament to her unbreakable spirit. As women continue to tell their stories, eventually prevention will prevail, so other women won't have to suffer.

I wish I could hand this out to every OBGYN office so that there was more knowledge surrounding Asherman’s Syndrome. I also hope someday there will be a day or a run of some sort dedicated to Asherman’s to spread more awareness. I will always be willing to speak to anyone with questions on this diagnosis and share some insight on my journey. Love and light to all of the woman out there struggling with fertility problems. I am again and again awed by the intricacies of the human body and medicine and science and God and how it is all intertwined.
