Angel Tarot

The Angel Tarot is nothing like a traditional deck of angel cards. The 72 angels of the Kabbalah (or Shem HaMephorash) are extremely powerful heavenly beings that provide assistance to mortals while also ruling over their hellish counterparts, the 72 demons of the Goetia.

When summoning an angel, their sigil (a kind of esoteric calling card) is supposed to be drawn on a piece of pure virgin parchment in red ink. To echo this color palette, the cards are made to look like fresh, pure parchment. The borders of each card are deep crimson, which creates a striking contrast.

The magical symbols are real.
The artwork is hauntingly divine.
These aren't your Aunt Doreen's angel cards . . .

Finally, I understand that angels (or names of God) are indeed some virtues that christianism teaches to all of us (maybe the actual reason it's so popular) and they are related not just to some tarot cards but also to the solomonic demons as well (the number above each angel means that is that angel the one who rules over the demon of the same number). For someone (like me) who knows well the demons this tarot deck is a nice way to understand how to fight them when they're not welcome.

First off, this is a visually interesting deck with deluxe packaging and fabrication. That said... There are only two decks that I've ever given away because of very bad juju feelings, and this is one of them. It's only about angels, so I assumed it would give me positive vibes. But for some reason, my hands did not want to handle this deck. At all. I even got nauseous when I picked it up, whether boxed or unboxed. I tried cleansing it with several methods, and yet it continued to have bad juju, nausea-inducing vibes. I actually moved it outside my apartment and then cleansed the house. I truly don't know why this was such a negative deck in my hands. Maybe whatever warehouse it came from was at fault for the bad vibes, and not the whole print run of this product overall. But they were uncleansable -- by me, at least. I gave them away on nextdoor and included a whole bottle of lemon essential oil because I felt guilty handing over a bad vibe deck to a stranger. I truly hope that switching owners improved the vibe of the deck, and that it wasn't bad vibes for him, too. (I actually spelled this out in my posting on nextdoor, so I wouldn't feel dishonest.)

The small time I took to flip through the cards before I got so nauseous, I found it contained so many angels I'd never come across in my (admittedly limited) research, so I found myself wondering if some of them were 'former angels'. I still wonder what his sources were. Did The Book of Enoch actually contain that many angels individually named? I don't know, maybe it did. The diagrams and symbolism were what interested me in the first place, as they're sophisticated and promised to be a great occult learning experience. Take a look at the deck online. You may feel entirely comfortable with the number of angels and the pack you get may have a lovely vibe.

Is it feasible to have the book reprinted with the correct scriptures? I've spotted multiple mistakes. For example, on page 52, the accompanying scripture for 21 Nelchael reads Psalm 31:15 and the text reads Psalm 31:14. Another example: Page 35, 4 Elemiah, Psalm 6:5, but quotes Psalm 6:4.

Also, again on page 52, it states that Nelchael is the physical guardian for those born from 28 June to 2 July, but multiple only sources state the time frame is from 2 July to 6 July.

The four stars are for the information and asthetic of the tarot card itself. Corrections to the booklet would bring it to 5 stars, easily.
