Alex, second in line to the throne, is about to be forced into marriage. He’s in love with Sam, who’s perfect in every way, except one. He’s an alpha. And if there was one forbidden passion left in their society, it was the love between two alphas...

With Alex’s father determined to make him an advantageous match, it looks like his and Sam’s happiness will be left by the wayside. Until they stumble upon an omega living alone on an island, and Alex dreams up a crazy scheme that just might let them be together.

When Jonah’s offered the chance to rescue his family from poverty, he jumps at it. What omega wouldn’t? It takes seeing what Alex and Sam have to truly understand what he’s giving up to help them be together. Can he live a life without love, without a family of his own?

Just as Sam and Alex start to see Jonah as more than merely the key to their reckless plan, he’s torn from their grasp. With the palace’s dark past rearing its head once more, will the truth finally be revealed? And will it all be for nothing without Jonah by their side?

Promised is a novel-length read, featuring a polyamorous romance, a modern-day fairy tale, goats, math, mpreg, babies, and happy endings. There are some difficult themes and some scenes not suitable for readers under the age of eighteen.

Not surprised by the ending as I had that guy pegged all along...but I did like the way things were wrapped up.

Also, Ms. Cullen, can we please, pretty please with a cherry on top, have a short-story or novella for Paul? Thank you!

Gah!

I'm just really upset this is over. PAUL, the beta who, let's be honest, is a serious romantic devoted to the princes, needs a novelette--with about twelve kids in his epilogue.I

Like the earlier books in the series, it was rife with intrigue (and danger, if you're an omega). James remains my favorite prince, but I like Jonah a lot. All plot lines resolved. HEA. Recommend.

(It's good but unlikely to be reread.)

The final book in the Alpha Princes series. It has different MCs, but concludes the overarching plot involving the omega conspiracy and the villain behind it all.

The MCs: Prince Alex (alpha), his best friend and secret love, Sam (alpha), and Jonas (omega). They form a triad poly relationship. Alex and Sam have a taboo love, as alpha/alpha relationships are forbidden and seen as perverse. They originally include Jonas as a cover for their bond, but they end up falling for him.

This turned out to be much better than expected!
Book 1 = 5-stars (read three times).
Book 2 = originally DNF'd, but later given 2-stars.
Book 3 = read three years after book one, which it's similar to.

The Overarching Plot:
The villain, his puppet, and their nefarious actions.

It kept me glued to the pages. The villain tried to get Prince Alex to be next in line to the throne (because he thought that Alex could be controlled the easiest out of all the princes). And he vilified omegas because of a past hurt, and as part of his continued vengeance.

After all they did, I was happy when the bad guys got their just desserts:

Like all the books, the romance is lukewarm. It's sweet with a fairytale feel, but there's no real love or passion between the MCs.

At 62%, the MCs have been sharing a bed for weeks.
They hadn’t done much more than kissing and cuddling since they’d left the palace.

It took Jonas going into heat to get them to finally have sex. This has the steamiest sex of the three books, but that's not saying much. The scenes go from PG (books 1 & 2) to PG-13. There's one long-ish scene, and that's it. ☹️

The action & intrigue more than make up for it. Like book 2, we have a prince that acts more like a beta. He doesn't figure out who the villains are, and has to have it explained to him. He pretty much lets his brother, Prince James, take charge and make all the important decisions.

Thank goodness for Prince James! Wow, did he improve from book 2!! Here he really shined as a true alpha, helping the MCs throughout the story, and thwarting the villain(s).

Book 1 has a better story, but book 3 has the best ending. It's not overly sweet and isn't dragged out too long. It wrapped up at a good pace, and there's a nice epilogue.

While this isn't one of the best books/series I've ever read, it IS one of the better ones in the Mpreg genre.

😬 Biggest Annoyance: No descriptions of the MCs.

All in all, a satisfying read that left me with -

If you read either of my reviews from the first two, lucky you!, and you may not believe this. This book was too short. Yes, it—like the others—gets bogged down in the middle. The author could have removed 75% of the angst and still had plenty left. To put where it was needed, the ending. Three books of buildup that fizzle out like fireworks in the rain.

Overall, in light of the ending, this is my favorite book of the trio. Most interesting plot. Again, less “bulk” in the middle. The relationship with the Alphas was nice. Their relationship with the Omega was almost too easy. There was little angst about relationships but all about covert operations.

In terms of sex....by far the most heated book. More frequent and more detailed encounters. However, compared to most this still pretty tame.

Not to be read alone. Still, if you can make it this far in the series you are mostly rewarded.

Alpha Princes

A really satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. Slightly obvious but despite that it was a great story and an enjoyable read.

Genre: Adult Omegaverse
Spice: 2.5/5🌶️
*spice ratings are relative to similar books in the same genre*

The Catalog: MMM omegaverse, forced proximity, marriage competition, forbidden alpha-alpha relationship, fake courtship, sheltered omega, political machinations, slow burn friends to lovers, sexy wrestling, heat tending, mpreg

CW: kidnapping, child abduction, claustrophobia, pregnancy complications

Pack Dynamics:
α α Ω
Alex (α): second in line to the throne
Sam (α): naval officer in love with Prince Alex
Jonah (Ω): goatherd genius helping them be together

Synopsis: Prince Alex is avoiding his marriage competition at all costs because he’s in love with fellow naval officer, Sam, who would have been the perfect spouse if it weren’t for him also being a alpha. Ember’s culture is strictly anti alpha-alpha relationships, but when the two alphas meet Jonah, a sweet omega living alone on an island of goats, they hatch the perfect plan to be together.

Thoughts:
I really enjoyed this one and I was happy to finally have all the information of the massive mystery that spanned all three books.

I also thought the forbidden alpha-alpha relationship was dynamic and made for an interesting conflict.

Loved it!

This is an exciting trilogy with intrigue and conspiracy. Alex has been with Sam in a very close relationship—a relationship with benefits. Alex's father wants him to marry but on his father's terms. But there's a problem, and that's Jonah. Sam and Alex met Jonah while on leave, and needless to say, they devised a plan to stay together with the three of them. Things are going well, but there is evil around the corner, and everything ties in from the first two books.

In this story, Prince Alex (the last of the princely brothers) and naval officer Sam have been in love for a very long time, which is bad because relationships between alphas are taboo. They strike a deal with omega Jonah: The three of them will marry to legitimize Sam and Alex's union, they sail into the sunset together, and Jonah and his disadvantaged family live safe and happy lives forever after. Which is a great idea, except all three end up falling in love for real, and cause all kinds of trouble.

I have really enjoyed the whole trilogy. All three throuples are wonderful, and the loose ends, both good and bad, are explained in a satisfying way.

The romances develop nice and slow. The sex comes later - in the first two books it doesn't even happen until the last few chapters. What we do get is lovely, and blessedly free of cartoonishly large alpha dicks and gaping, drippy holes.

(Don't get me wrong, I like some filthy A/B/O sometimes, but this is a nice change of pace.)

Probably my least fave of the series, but still quite enjoyable.

My least fave...thruple? of the series, perhaps because Alex and Sam had already progressed so far in a relationship on their own before a third person was added?
I did like Jonah, and I liked that the story arc and drama for this one was so different from the others, but a few things that I think could've been handled better.

I also think the matter of the person pulling their string and the puppet was tied up a little too quickly and easily, and I wanted to see more of the bigger impact the changes were going to cause at the end.

🌟 What a Grand Finale!

This was a very well written and engaging series! This one packed a lot of punches! Secrets revealed, family drama and trauma, politics and prejudices...all made it seem like there was no way that things would work out well. I would say that, in my opinion, this triad had the most difficult road to an HEA! They had so many hurdles to jump but their unwillingness to give up was inspiring and beautiful. As with the first two books I read this in one go as well. Claire Cullen is a brilliant storyteller!

I thought this to be a good ending to the Alpha Princes trilogy. No great surprises in the ending. I think the person causing all the trouble throughout the series was pretty much telegraphed in book one. Still ultimately knowing the outcome didn’t detract from my enjoyment of the story. All in all, I loved all three MCs and thought they went well together and was glad to see all three of them get their HEA.

Hmmm..
Not at all happy with the "resolution " with the "bad guy" or with the King.

Alex was my least favorite of the brothers. I didn't like how he wanted to use the omega, Jonah and other people for his personal gain. He came off a bit selfish and inconsiderate of Jonah's feeling. He didn't even care for Jonah at the beginning and couldn't even bother to read his application. At least Sam was more considerate and caring towards Jonah.

Overall, I felt like the story focused more on Alex and Sam's relationship. I didn't feel like they were as in love with Jonah as they were with each other. They had more affection for each other than Jonah. There was definitely more heat between the two. Jonah sometimes felt like an afterthought.

Alex also was the dumbest brother of the lot. I can't believe he trusted his uncle so much. You'd think he would be wary of him considering what happened to James but guess he was just as foolish as their dad. James suprisingly ended up being the best and most reliable brother. I really liked him in this book.

This was such a good conclusion to this series, and I really loved having the big mystery finally be revealed, and it both made sense and broke my heart. This was such a good series, and I loved the brothers and their love stories and everything about their entangled conspiracies.

Alex and Sam were awesome and I died over the two of them being in love and knowing there was no way they would ever be accepted by their society. And I loved how they weren't quite willing to give each other up, no matter what. I loved how they found Jonah and how they were able to convince him to help them and how they were going to help him and his family in return. I died over how unexpectedly perfect Jonah was for them, how they were both slowly falling for him, even as he kept convincing himself there could be nothing there because the two of them loved one another and could never love him.

My heart broke over what happened with Jonah's family and how if his uncle hadn't stepped in, his family would have been torn apart because of the omega laws. I loved how Alex was going to help his family no matter what, and how Jonah didn't want his help until he had completed his part of their ruse. Jonah was so amazing and I died over how smart and strong and awesome he was. I loved how he surprised Alex and Sam with his intelligence and how he finally gets to learn more.

I died over the three of them having to leave in order to be together. I loved how the brothers had each other's backs and how James was there for Alex and the others while they were gone. It killed me how the brothers found out who had been behind everything, especially for Alex, because he had spent most of his life trusting his uncle with all things. It broke my heart how this one man ruined so many lives because of his jilted love. I wasn't a big fan of because then we didn't get any resolution from him.

Overall, I adored this series and all the relationships to no end. Will is going to make a great king. Also, I loved Cinder connecting with Jonah and being the one to notice there was something between Alex and Sam. And I loved how the brothers never thought there was anything wrong with Alex and Sam being in love. I loved the bond between the brothers and how they loved and supported one another. This series was just so good and amazing and I loved everything about it!

I really enjoyed the trilogy overall. My favorite was the 1st book, it's on my "I want to read again" list.

I enjoy Claire Cullen's books. she writes well and her stories are always gripping.

If you love m/m/m with alphas who go against the grain of their royal "duties" and traditions and daring to love an omega....start this series. you won't regret it.

Superb

A wonderful story. The plot thickens. The deftly written protagonists are believable and memorable. I just knew that it was Leopold! Would like to know the story of the deceased king, queen, and duke.

3 books in the series and I got them in the bundle, which is great because there is an underlying story that is finally solved at the end of book 3; however, rest assured, each brother gets his HEA at the end of his book.

This was ok, the ending was not satisfying because the annoying king with no backbone just died and didn’t have to deal with the consequences of his actions and the uncle never has and resolution either.

Promised is the third and final book im Claire Cullen's Alpha Princes trilogy. Omg! This is an amazing conclusion to the trilogy and I am so sad to see these characters come to an end. But I did love this book. Alex, Sam, and Jonah are a great throuple... fun, cute and sexy. I loved how the main arc was satisfyingly brought to an end. Story is fun, sweet and sexy.. a touch of drama, secrets, danger.... pulled it all together for the series.

I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.

The last prince

Alex, last Prince left , doesn’t want a courtship contest, but feels he can spin this to his advantage. His and Sam’s anyway. He doesn’t count on falling in love with a third. Jonah, brilliant goat herder, is pure innocence, and is drawn into the same palace intrigue as the other princes and mates were. I adore anything this author writes, and I’m glad to see the changes in place at the end of this book. The characters are so very well developed and easy to adore. Another great story in this kingdom.

The universe of this story is not to my liking at all, I couldn't focus... in a fantasy, it's whether you dare or don't write at all, here it's a shy move, not enough to impress me and keep me interested, moreover, the names of the characters are too ridiculous, they display a lack of imagination and fantasy, I just couldn't take the book seriously. Dropped mid third chapter because of this and because its intrigue is the true copy of another book I read this summer!

*Added to this, the cover is a disaster. It's obvious that it's done by an amateur.
