3rd book in the series and it was a really enjoyable read. Loved Nina and Travis. Great second chance romance. Loving this series. Can’t wait to read more.

What’s this book about? (I'm trying to give as little spoilers as possible)
Nina and Travis have a history that they've long left behind. Until Nina's crazy roommate steals most of her stuff & vanishes from the face of the earth. Now, Nina finds herself in an intricate predicament. Desperate to pay her bills, she allows Travis to move in with her and old flames start rekindling.
I like the Beck & Hallman duo a lot, so I'm always up for the challenge when they bring out a new book. Having read Babies & Promises, I sort of knew what to expect. However, these two stories are different in themes. Miscommunication plays a big role here and it's kind of exciting to watch it all unfold. I enjoyed this read! It was a page turner and it was entertaining as hell! Travis was adorable, tbh. I felt more sorry for him than for her and she was just as heartbroken or even more than Travis LOL
Nina's brother Grady was cute. His involuntary match-making talents were hilarious.
On another note, I only wished to have found out why Nina's roommate was such a weirdo? I hope I didn't miss it, but I think I didn't see further comments on her.

I enjoyed this book. Travis and Nina were great characters who had a terrible miscommunication. An all around good story filled with laugh out loud moments and over the top romantic gestures that make you swoon.

The maturity level of the couple was annoying. Humour? Barely. By the end of chapter 7, I left the book to watch youtube videos. Returned, skimmed to 'no condom', reread to make sure I had taken in the skimmed content correctly, skimmed again to another 'no condom' act and finally in chapter 18 the answer to the question I was seeking was found. And I was done. Total chapters, 26 plus an epilogue. DNF.

Not my favorite of the series. A big lack of communication between the two caused a lot of insecurities. The story was okay. There were some funny moments that helped. Good banter between the two. I just didn’t connect with the two mAin characters.

Roommates & Thieves is another home run for Jenna Reed! I can't get over just how incredible this series has become. Each story shows me the huge potential of this wildly creative author. This fantastic series just keeps getting better and better with each story that entertains and destroys and rebuilds my heart page by page. I truly can't ask for anything more then just plain more from this brilliant author!
Nina has woken up to a nightmare of epic proportions. Unable to fix any of this huge mess, all she can do is move on. However, in her attempt to move on she finds herself moving backwards directly into her past. For good or for bad the only man she ever loved is back, and she wants him to keep moving on. Travis isn't sure if he is doing his best friend a favor or doing his heart a disservice. Sometimes being a good guy just gets you nothing but pain and disappointment. Can these two lost, lonely hearts find some peace and maybe a little something more about their hard and long years apart? Does time make the heart grow fonder or just more bitter?
You could just feel the heat and the confusion and the want from these two roommates. They enjoyed dancing around each other more then anything it seemed and yet their heart hurt at the missed communication and connection after all the years apart. It is hard to open up when your heart has been ripped apart with no explanation. You simply can't risk another devastating rejection unless you have the chance for something better. This couple pulled at my heart strings bit time, and I was nearly yelling at them to just sit down and talk to each other. That is so easy said then done though.
Jenna Reed has delivered another genius masterpiece that I greedily devoured and exquisitely savored every second of! She is a wicked master of the human heart and knows how to bring me to my knees every single time. I can't wait to see what she creates next! Whatever you do, run to read this book and any of the others in this wonderful series! You will not regret it.

Travis is Grady’s best friend and returns home to help his parents build a greenhouse. Grady offers Travis to go live with Nina, but he rejects it, bc what Grady doesn’t know is that years ago,they slept together and everything ended so badly that that’s why he left town 5 years ago.
But coincidences of life in the end he has no choice. At the beginning things between him and Nina are tense, but sexual attraction is very strong between them and what happens? Amazing sex!!!!
Super funny situations, many misunderstandings make this book a very entertaining read.

This book is funny, quirky, sexy, and just downright fun read.
It's like a mix of brothers best friend, second chance and enemies to lovers. Nina and Travis have history. They grew up in the same town and Travis is Nina's brothers best friend. And Grady is the brother that would be mad if one of his friends dates his sister. That's not what made it second chance though. Mistakes all around on both their parts.
But, when Nina's roommate leaves without a word and steals all of her stuff, she's left in a bind on paying rent. Now Grady knowing Travis needs a place to stay, like the good friend he is mentions Nina and thing get complicated. Grady didn't see the problem and things get awkward at that point.
Neither wants to be the one to tell him they had a relationship with the other, so they decide to give it a try. They avoid each other, but when you're living together you can't avoid each other for long. That's when things get interesting.
Even from the start their chemistry is potent. It's something that mot only on the surface it's bone deep. Undeniable to all. Except Grady perhaps. It's tough living with your ex without feeling coming back. But with Travis' crazy ex to Nina's current, it's all kinds of weird and angsty.
I legit laughed so hard at one point I scared my cat. I couldn't help it. When you get to a certain part about her hair, you'll understand. If you have a box you check for a book, this one has it all. I'm glad I took a chance on it and definitely recommend.

It wasn't an instant love reunion, there were old hurts to be sorted out, misunderstanding to be righted, and a forgiveness to happen first. But once that all took hold, then the true magic happened... the steamy, blush spawning kind. I have no doubt that this second chance romance is going to be a hit with readers, it's pages come brimming with everything necessary to leave them thoroughly satisfied!! Highly recommend!

Another funny,sweet read by the writing duo. This book can actually fall into several categories enemies to lovers, second chance or brothers bestfriend to lovers.
Nina's roommate skipped town with all of her belongings leaving her with an empty apartment and short on rent. Without any options she takes her brother Grady offer when he said he has a friend that needs a place to live.
Travis is Grady's bestfriend and is back in town to help his dad with a construction project when his parents give away his room and all the hotels are full so he needs a place to stay. Grady has the perfect place he can help his bestfriend and his sister all at the same time. Little does he know that they have a history and not a good one. After surprising her with just showing up with Travis without telling who was coming and lots a yelling she agrees to let him move in on a trial basis.
Oh lord let the fun begin Nina is so clumsy that I'm surprised she never ended up seriously injured. Travis was such a good guy and so funny when she has a date over. Meant to be
Another great book by this dynamic duo. And as soon as I read the blurb, with three infamous rules, I couldn’t stop smiling. I knew this was gonna be a fun read!
This story revolves around Nina and Travis. They have a bit of a history, giving him her v-card to him in her late teens. Those feelings never really got a chance to be explored or to develop.
There was so much angst and drama, and some of it stemming from simple, mutual misunderstandings. Their stubbornness not helping the situation. Other drama was just generated by a couple of real fruit-loops!
Being thrown together again in a temporary living arrangement will undoubtedly cause some issues. The way they navigate these and the relationship they begin to redevelop, is full of laughs and some frustration.
But there were plenty of sweet, romantic and super-HOT steamy moments. WOAH! I guess those old feelings never really go away (in this case anyway). The story was heart-warming and gives hope of finding true love.
I would definitely recommend this book, and as always, I look forward to these authors’ next writing project!

But there were plenty of sweet, romantic and super-HOT steamy moments. WOAH! I guess those old feelings never really go away (in this case anyway). The story was heart-warming and gives hope of finding true love.
I would definitely recommend this book, and as always, I look forward to these authors’ next writing project!

Another incredible story by Jenna Reed. Roommates & Thieves is book #3 in the “Breaking the rules series” and honestly this series has become one of my favorites because it’s supper funny, refreshing and sweet with some very romantic moments.
This book it’s a second chance, enemy to lovers, best friend’s sister that has Nina and Travis as the main characters.
The story stars when Nina finds herself in her apartment without nothing ( literally no furniture or spoons) after her crazy roommate steals all of her things and leaves her without half of the money for rent. Her brother Grady steps in bringing a solution for her as well as for his best friend Travis who is in town helping his parents an unfortunately loosing his room to his cousin. Grady doesn’t know that Nina and Travis Have history that ended in bad terms , but because they are both kind of desperate they accept to be roommates. In the beginning they try to avoid each other as much as possible but their chemistry and connection they shared it’s stronger. Neither of them wants to give in but when they do sparks fly and also some very sexy but quirky scenes that will make you laugh-out-load .
So definitely this is a must read, and I really hope there is more books in this series because they are crazy good.

Nina is not having a good moment in her life right now. She came home to her apartment being pretty much empty. Her ex-roommate took almost everything and left her high and dry. Now she has to find someone to help her with the rent. Her ever loving brother Grady has just the person. Travis is coming back to town to help his parents with some stuff. He will be staying for a little while and when he gets into town his parents inform him that he cant stay at their house. So against his better judgment he takes Grady up on the offer to stay with Nina. Nina doesn't like the idea anymore than Travis does but she knows that she wont make rent without his help. Things are already heated between these two because of something that happened in the past. Will these two be able to get past what happened and work things out? I loved the chemistry between Travis and Nina. She is one tough girl and wont take no crap from Travis. These two had quite the misunderstanding and hopefully will be able to get past it. You have to read the book to find out. An amazing well written enjoyable storyline about two amazing characters. I highly recommend this one. I cant wait to read the rest in this series.

Oh poor Nina should be in a helmet and elbow pads. I’m surprised that at some point she wasn’t put into a cast. Nina is about as normal as can be but heavy on the dork. She hits her head and elbows a lot. There is even a hair cut she gets herself trapped into that will have you giggling and shaking your head. Travis is her brother’s best friend and a crazy girl magnet. They had a hookup as teens but after a misunderstanding he leaves. Him believing a lie and her confused and heartbroken. He comes back to help his parents and she gets screwed over by her roommate. Her brother, Grady, sticks them together in her apartment as a solution for both of them. From there all kinds of fun happens. There are a few minor spelling glitches for those of you who get stuck on stuff like that. This story is a good read. I laughed so much and they are just cute. I definitely recommend reading this.

This is such a great series. I just love Travis and Nina. Travis is back home to help his dad out and needs a place to stay. Nina’s roommate left and took everything and Nina needs someone to help with the rent. Grady is Nina’s brother and has the perfect plan. Travis can be Nina’s roommate since that is the only person he trusts to be around Nina. However, he doesn’t know their past. They decide on one month and see how it goes. During the first month things are a little awkward between them. This book had me laughing out loud and shaking my head. You want to tell them to knock it off and communicate. This is a great story about second chances and I loved all the characters. This was a seer and funny romance. These two are both crazy perfect for each other. They still have a connection that neither can deny and their chemistry is hot. You don’t need to read the other books to understand this one.

This book was amazing I loved the whole growing up together and falling in love so young and Nina giving Travis her virginity and breaking up soon after and Travis being her brother Grady’s best friend. Fast forward Nina finds herself with an empty apartment after her roommate Vicki takes everything she owns and leaves it empty and also leaves her to pay the rent alone which she doesn’t know how she will, then her brother Grady comes to her rescue with the solution to her problems his best friend Travis who’s looking for a place to stay while helping his father but her brother has no idea of there past together it’s a nightmare but she has no choice. Can she let Travis back into her heart again being so close to one another, the sparks fly between them and always have but miss understandings keep getting in the way and being stubborn it’s helping either, will they work it all out and get there HEA.

This is an amazing and wonderful story that will keep you laughing and cheering them on. Nina’s roommate decides to sneak away after stealing all of Nina’s things and leaving her to pay the rent alone. Her brother, Grady, finds what he thinks is the perfect solution when his friend, Travis, comes back to town and has no place to live. He brings him over to Nina’s without telling her who her new roommate will be, and the “fur flies”. Because Grady doesn’t know about their past relationship and bad breakup, she allows him to stay on as her roommate. Will they ever talk and realize the miscommunication? Can they forgive the past and work on a future?

Absolutely in love with this series!! This book may just be favorite of all, it was absolutely everything! A little bit of brothers best friend, meets enemies to lovers, but also a second chance romance.

This book was excellent! It was a second chance romance by the dynamic duo. It was also a romantic comedy with laugh out loud moments mixed in. Travis and Nina were amazing characters. Nina had absolutely the worst luck. She walks into her apartment that she shared with her roommate and the roommate bailed on her. Not only that, stole all of her furniture! Nina confides in her brother, Grady, that she needs a new roommate and fast. Grady tells her he will take care of it. Grady manages to get his best friend, Travis to commit. Travis and Nina have a complicated past. Neither of them really like being stuck together again but Travis needs a place to stay and Nina needs someone to help pay the bills. Maybe they will be able to rewrite history. This book is a must read and I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this book. the romance took a long time to get a stand in the book (60 %) but when it came it was amazing. In two days i finished this book.
Nina needs a roommate after Vicky left and stole every furniture plus extra in the appartement.
Travis a sexy male that has been mentioned in the previous book, needs a place to crash after his niece took his room at his parents home. he helps his parents but what about his past with nina?
grady is big brother from nina, he is protective and best friend from Travis. He stays in the dark for a long time but how will he react on their past en maybe future?

Communication is the key in this book. There was so many miscommunications in this book, I truly felt sorry for these characters. Not only that but, they both needed to mature some before they actually tried to have a relationship. I enjoyed the banter and all the laughable situations. I am so glad that everything was completely explained for all the misunderstandings and the reasons why Nina and Travis both felt hurt and betrayed by one another. In the end this book really came together and gave the reader what they been hoping for from the very beginning.

I received an arc for an honest review. This book brings us Nina and Travis. Nina is Grady's sister, and her roommate takes off with everything in her apartment. She needs to find a new roommate or she will be evicted. Grady enlists the help of his best friend Travis, as he is coming to their town to help his dad with work around his house - and he only expects to be there for a few weeks, to help Nina with the rent. Grady, however, doesn't know that Nina and Travis has a "thing" before he left without saying anything to Nina. She has never forgiven him for that, that is until they both find it harder and harder to stay away from each other. This is a great read and I highly recommend it.

Nina ,woke up to a nightmare, no one should every wake up to, so instead of mopping around, she picked herself and kept on moving. Sometimes it takes for you to move on to go back and redo things differently, thats where travis westmister comes in to play, he was her ex and her brother's friend. They suggest that he helped her with rent, During this time miscommunication and mistrust was brought forth and things were discussed that should've been done before. Can these two let go the past and renew what was broken or do they be roomates and have separates lives.

I really enjoyed this quick read with Travis and Nina. They stole my heart and kept me turning the pages. Travis the brother’s best friend with a crush on Nina the little sister, but she was all grown up and started a little fling. What started out amazing ended with miscommunications and misunderstandings and left them thinking the other broke their heart. You will want to pull out your hair, throw your book at some of the things these two go through, but second chances are worth it right? I guess you will find out for yourself when you read this. I received a copy of this book.

The comedy of mistakes - very entertaining, heartwarming and sexy
One faithful night and two broken hearts. But don't be fooled it's not the cliche you think you already read. It was very entertaining story with lots of steamy but in the same time ridiculously entertaining moments. I laugh out loud, maybe I get a little bit emotional in some parts. I felt connected to the story and to the main characters. Very easy, light read, kept me reading into the early morning hours but it was so worth my time. Thank you to the authors and I'm waiting for more from you.
