A fabulous collection of short stories from authors who were attending Blackpool book signing (All but one made it).
Key to my heart short story Anthology is all about sweet summer romances. This is a diverse collection with great contrast. With all short stories, they left me wanting more. Below I’ve tried to tell you a little about each, but without giving anything away.

This review only refers to The Summer Fair by K.A. Knight. There are many wonderful stories by many wonderful authors here and I will surely be back to read them at a later stage. The Summer Fair I loved this cute little innocent love story. This was a different side of this amazing author, I haven't seen before. It is still her fantastic writing, but there are no usual problems or suffering, just smooth, happy, fluffy, sweetness. Daisy is a going through the healing process after loosing her mother a year and a half ago and she just recently moved in with her father who she didn't spend much time with growing up. And the story focuses on one afternoon when she goes to the summer fair and meets Jamie and his little sister. The characters are great. They are sweet, loving, open and friendly, and the whole encounter is so natural, easygoing, without any forced problems. The descriptions of the fair were so vivid, it feels like the author transports the reader into the colourful world of games and candies. As I have already read every single story this author has written, this little sweet story was a must read for me. And I loved it. Of course I did. I love every single word she writes.
An amazing group of authors coming together to each write a short story of first love, holiday romance and love when its least expected. Each authors contribution of beautifully written stories for this amazing children’s charity is fantastic. I loved each and every story and couldn’t put it down. A very much highly recommended book that wont disappoint.
I really enjoyed this anthology. It introduced me to a lot of new authors (who I’ll hopefully meet at Blackpool books on the beach)
Some of the stories were really short and I have to admit I felt a bit like Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory when he and Amy are doing lots of tasks but she doesn’t allow them to end before moving on to the next one. Some of these stories were great and really wanted to read more and when I turned the page and it was a new story I would mentally stamp my foot! 🤣
Lots of budding romance stories with young, first love, all beautifully written.
A good way of discovering new authors in a short amount of time. I've really enjoyed this collection of short shorties. There's a diverse range and something for every mood. Love, laughter, aw moments and so much more.
