Everything changed the night he betrayed me, and now, the game has entered a new level.

Galen did me a favor, reminding me the only person I can count on is myself, and I’m more determined than ever to avenge my father’s death and avoid the destiny Sinner has mapped out for me.

Saint is used to calling the shots, but there are new rules, my rules, and if he wants me in his life, and in his bed, he’ll toe the line. They all will, because I can’t pull this off alone, and they owe me.

Sinner thinks he’s in control, but forcing me into initiation plays right into my hands. War has come to Lowell as rival gangs battle The Sainthood for ultimate power, and I enjoy rebelling from the inside, placing more obstacles in Sinner’s path while I exact my revenge.

But I’m not some innocent thirteen-year-old anymore—I have blood on my hands and lethal enemies on my tail.

I’m playing a dangerous game, especially where my heart is concerned, but there’s no turning back. I haven’t come this far to walk away empty-handed, and the more secrets we uncover, the more we realize how far-reaching the betrayal and corruption extend, and there’s no choice anymore.

The Sainthood must be taken down, and we’re the only ones who can do it.

I loved the first book and this was even better!

This book had so much action, suspense and mystery. It starts right where Resurrection left off and I actually went back and read the last few chapters of book one before I started this book because I read the ARC for Resurrection in January which was something like 70 books ago so I wasn’t sure I would remember what happened in the cliffhanger. I was kind of glad I did because it reminded me of how much I loved that first book.

Rebellion started up with action and intensity right off the bat and didn’t quit until the very end. We find out a lot more in this book about the family relationships of all the players involved. Especially Harlow’s parents. We already knew that Sinner (Saint’s evil father), the head of the Sainthood had once and still may be in love with Gianna, Harlow’s mother.

However, Gianna and Trey fell in love, got together and had Harlow, but somehow Trey ended up working for the Sainthood. Lo and the boys figure that it wasn’t by choice. They can’t figure why a guy who came along and took a Sinner’s girl right out from under his nose still lived to see another day. Though for some reason Sinner didn’t kill Trey until years later when he found out that Trey was betraying him.

In this book we also find out more about Galen’s family and Theo’s family. There are a bunch of gang wars going on between the Bulls, the Arrows and the Sainthood with the Bulls and the Arrows joined together against the Sainthood. Harlow keeps getting caught in the crossfire due to her relationships and miscommunications as well as some jealousy and other issues, but either way it seems that she is always the target of more than one group.

For some reason Sinner wants to make her life miserable as much as possible by threatening her at every turn and he gets his thrills by doing that. It’s even an extra bonus for him that it hurts his son Saint by doing it, since Saint doesn’t do very well at hiding his feelings when someone threatens his girl. Like I said, the action is non stop in this one.

The romance in this book is super steamy and it definitely is a reverse harem. Harlow is intimate with each of her boyfriends at separate times and sometimes with more than one of them at a time. Though they do show a lot of love and affection for each other as well as support when things are bad. They make a good team, especially since Lo had all of that training at the cabin that her father insisted on after her kidnapping. She is almost like a mercenary herself now.

Of course there was an awesome cliffhanger, but I am really starting to like good “cliffies” lately, even if I have to wait a while for the next book. I don’t know why, I just do. I can’t wait though to find out what happens next!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I jumped on this as soon as it landed on my ipad, after that cliffy left me in the previous book I needed answers right the f#ck then.

This author went above and beyond by giving us more...

This was more of a sit on the edge of your seat kind of read, my anticipation levels skyrocketed! Twists and turns and revelations that had me racing through the pages unravelling shocking lies as I raced through this nail biting fast paced read.

Holy sh#t!! The author definitely turned up the heat factor!! This gave me whip-lash with the bed hopping, but oh so hot, it sizzled off the pages, each and every guy fell under her spell, a queen on her throne with the boys falling at her feet. Revealing Unorthodox relationships which were only perfect for them. These boys will leave you panting for more...

FIVE REVERSE HAREM STARS for Harlow, Saint, Galen, Caz and Theo 😍🔥❤!!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I LOVE IT.

I LOVE IT.

I.

ABSOLUTELY.

LOVE.

THIS.

BOOK.

After I read the first book "Resurrection" from "The Sainthood - Boys of Lowell High" series which let me wondering what will happen next because of the epic cliffhanger at the end of the book, I couldn't wait for "Rebellion".

Siobhan did it again!

She didn't disappoint!

She did an amazing job because this book took everything from me.

Once I started reading it, I have got old feelings for characters and I couldn't put the book down until the very end which put me in misery as in the previous book because it also ended up with a cliffhanger.

"Rebellion" is the second book in "The Sainthood - Boys of Lowell High" series.

It's a reverse harem, dark high school bully romance book with a lot of angst, secrets and unexpected turns that will make your heart beats fast.

If you're a fan of Siobhan's books and also love RH romance, then YOU MUST TO READ THIS SERIES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!

Highly recommended!!!

I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.

“You might be the leader, but I’m making the decisions now.”

**NOTE: Rebellion cannot be read until after Resurrection. If you haven’t read Resurrection, this review does contain spoilers related to the cliffy of that one.

I have been counting down the days until this released, which may seem odd considering I only gave the first installment 3 stars and had my share of issues with it. For some reason, as time went by between finishing that one and waiting for this one I obviously forgot about those problems and just focused on needing to know what would happen next. The cliffy it left us on is one you just can’t walk away from. If you can, I seriously admire your willpower because I do not have it.

The moment I saw this on my Kindle I wanted to get right into it, but mama obligations and Easter activities (like hunting down 2 cartons of eggs to dye that we aren’t even going to eat) got in the way of the binge read I planned. My expectations weren’t high this go around, which I hoped would make for a more enjoyable (& not so critical) read. I just wanted it to be a 3 star like the last. One thing I knew this already had in its favor? We were getting at least some of the story from all four guys’ POV, that’s something that can make a HUGE difference and I was here for it. Sooooo......you are probably wanting me to shut up and get to what I thought of it. How can I find a book so addicting yet so absolutely absurd and ridiculous I can’t help but pick it apart? This series so far has been a complete mess for my head....becoming a guilty pleasure and one I enjoy yet hate at the same time.
description
See? Complete freaking mess.

Book Facts:
Told in: Multi-POV, all present day from Harlow and all guys.
About: The second installment of the why choose/dark “gang” The Sainthood - Boys of Lowell High series picks up at the massive cliffy from Resurrection. Galen has betrayed Harlow and she is now more determined than ever to guard her heart while fulfilling her goals. Saint may be the leader but she will be the one calling the shots from now on and he will no longer be the only one warming her bed at night. With her initiation looming and the threats coming from all angles, it’s now more important than ever to stick together. And when shocking truths are uncovered and new players come into the mix, Harlow will have more at stake than her heart.
Safe Read? I say yes, but it does include gang/criminal elements as well as drug abuse and domestic abuse (not to Harlow or by any of the guys).
Ends in: Cliffy with the story continuing in the final installment Reign.

My Thoughts:
This is another one I would rather get right into & not waste time here:

What I loved? This one is pretty easy and won’t take a lot of space. A majority of the love I felt for this book is centered around Galen and his back story. He provided me the singular scene/moment that resulted in the only emotional connection I’ve had throughout this series. He is the only character that I feel has a true depth to him and he is an easy fav for me. This might surprise some based on the last book, but he is the only one that I’ve found has understandable reasons for what he does. I actually liked all the guys and the steamy scenes are definitely hot, no matter how many there are.

What I hated? Harlow.....it pretty much boils down to her. The author in her attempt to create this strong, badass, take-no-shit “street” girl resulted in one that speaks and acts in the most ridiculously unbelievable and “try hard” way. This is throughout the book, and is the main source of my irritation. The author gives her dialogue that would NEVER work within these same scenarios if they were actually real.......
“Let’s kidnap the bitch’s ass and torture her until we get answers.”
description
....it is too “Malibu’s Most Wanted” which is EXACTLY how I picture Harlow. She is a hypocrite, doing shady stuff and keeping secrets yet is all about not being able to “trust” the guys or not wanting to include certain players into the mix bc they haven’t proven they can be trusted.......
description
.......pot meet kettle bc she hasn’t either.

I also have an issue with the overall believability of the story as a whole. I get it’s fiction, but everyone likes their reads to be at least slightly realistic or believable. I understand this author likely didn’t have real life experience to pull from, but it came off like she took all the stereotypical type cliches and instead of just picking a few she used it all making it way too much. It created some cringe-y moments such as.....
“Don’t bother saying a prayer, motherfucker.” He points the gun at his head. “Because prayers don’t work when your destination is hell.”
description
.....it’s something that Horatio Caine from CSI: Miami would say if he wasn’t on a censored show. Not to mention, the parts of the story that are seriously so far fetched. Like how a gang has a state of the art training facility that employs receptionists, yet is obviously not powerful or large enough to easily take down smaller less organized local gangs. Or Harlow’s training in said facility that is way too GI JANE-inspired......
description
.....I was just waiting on her to fully embrace the inspo and have Harlow shave her head. Not to mention the ridiculousness of all the things they do/get away with OR how many moving elements are going on at one time within this story......how do these kids have time for all those sex scenes or school?
description
Oh that’s right, they only went to school like 2 times the entire book (that spans 2 weeks at least).

And finally (I know I’m saying a lot) there is just way too much happening. I mean there are like at least a dozen simpler and less time-consuming ways to reach their goal leaving more time to IDK, DEVELOP THE FREAKING ROMANCE ASPECT OF THIS ROMANCE BOOK.
description
Instead of picking one of those and maybe adding a few exciting small side plots, both installments have included so much unnecessary side stuff I’m not even sure what their ideal outcome is anymore or wth the plan is to achieve it.
description
It reminds me of when I don’t take my ADHD medication and try to tell a story, I end up giving you 15 side stories that slightly related to the main one......then I end up not being able to finish my original story because all those side stories caused me to forget wth I was saying in the first place.
description
........It’s exhausting.

My Verdict:
description
After my ranting it is fair to assume I wouldn’t be able to recommend this one but that’s the mess of it all......despite hating Harlow with an unhealthy passion and finding the overall story ridiculous and absurdly unbelievable, I enjoyed it. It’s much like reality television.....you don’t want to watch but you can’t look away. This is definitely my guilty pleasure and I cannot wait to see the conclusion in Reign......maybe be then I will finally be able to see what these 4 & 5 star reviewers do.

“My beautiful avenging angel.” He bites my lower back, right where my ink covers the logo I hate so much. “We are going to destroy the world together.”

***5 "Harlow's Saints!!!" stars***

!NOW AVAILABLE!

"Emotions have clouded my judgment, and I don't know what to believe."

Wow!!! Just wow!!!! The author had impressed me very much with this series and complexity of these certain characters...
The fast pace isn't stopping a moment and the revelations will give you a whiplash...
But as i told before... This story and these five are so intoxicating....
I'm just thirsty for more and more of them...
And yes, this book also ended with a huge cliffy and i can not wait for the next part....
I need it like my next breath!!!!

"This is your fault. And I will never forgive you if we've lost her."

Honestly, i don't want to give away much of this book since all the books are interconnecting and i preffer to avoid spoilling you in some way....
The story picked up exactly where it lefts us in the previous book and Lo as being Lo, she managed to overpower the ugly situation that Galen's betrayal put her through....
But now, Harlow is back and her trust on these boys is shaken....
Now, she is determined to turn the tables in her favor and to be the queen among them all!!!

"I cannot trust them.
They are still my enemy. Maybe, they always were."

Well, this book was also intense, clever and ohhhh, so steamy!!!!
The things are so complicated in every aspect... and Harlow and her boys are in deep shit...
The road is too long and the possibilities are endless...
The danger is lurking in every corner and time is against them...
They are in the middle of a gang war and other things that are above them... So what will happen after all???

"The journey could've been tougher, but I would've come through it in the end because I didn't want to be a victim.
I'm a survivor, and I will always choose to live.

"We've got to stick together. We've got to trust in each other and believe that together we can make this all right, because otherwise we're doomed to lead lives we don't want... And I fucking refuse to accept that's my destiny."

As for the romance part, if i can call it that??? It is a freakin' mess!!!
Four boys are on their knees in front of Harlow and they are worshipping the ground that she is walking on...
And she is.... feeling lots of things for all four of them...
Wow!!! In a way, Harlow is a lucky bitch, even though my heart can not fully except this arrangement... I'm an one person girl in reality!!
But damn me!!!! Between these five, this thing is working so well and i'm so confused cause i like all the boys for different reasons, even though i have a weakness toward Saint...

"How can they make me feel like I'm unraveling and being sewn back together at the same time? Perhaps, I'm being remade anew, but thought of the unknown terrify me, and putting my trust in them is still something I cannot fully do."

Mrs. Davis knows what she is doing to us and i'm like an addict that i'm craving a little bit more of this poison....
I admire Harlow's strength and determination and even though she had built strong walls around her heart, these boys are tearing them down one by one slowly and steady and she is in huge trouble...

"I need a marathon fucking session to remind me of who I am. To remember sex is just a physical act and that feelings have no place in my world."

""In this moment, I realize there is nothing I can do to shield my heart from this onslaught.
The guys have me, and my heart is already invested.
There's no way I can get out of this now without getting hurt."

As for the boys??? I love their dynamic.... I love how cool they are between them, even though you could've think that this arrangement with Lo will break them apart...
Caz is such a sweetheart and i'm laughing so much with him...
Theo is so sweet and protective and... can't wait to see something more that i can not tell you...
Galen made a mistake, but i can't fault him for that... I love his darkness...
As for Saint??? I love this guy!!! I love his tough exterior and possessiveness... I love him. Period...
God, i need more of them!!!!

"It's all been for you Lo, because you are everything to me." {Theo}

"This girl. She slays me. Slays all of us. I'm never letting her go." {Caz}

"Ready to bleed for me now, Galen?"
"Yes. I'm ready to live for you, Lo."
{Galen}

"You're ours, Lo. Mine. Ours... I don't fucking care what the label is as long as you know you belong to us. With us." {Saint}

"I've accepted the inevitable -that I'm a lost cause when it comes to my Saints- and I've thrown caution to the wind." {Harlow}

I’m seeing a pattern here. These books are not very good. They aren’t bad either, they’re just entertaining.

It is really hard to be even the slightest bit believable because they’re all 18 year olds!! Every emotional scene they have I’m thinking over and over in my head: “this is so freaking DRAMATIC.” I wish the characters were written older and this was paced differently, slower. There doesn’t need to be 20 different twists thrown in for flair. Slow down, take a breather, maybe then I can believe in the romance that’s supposed to be forming between Lo and all her men/boys.

This had absolutely terrible LGBT representation. So much potential for Theo and the author just dropped the ball and said “him? Let’s fetishize him.” He’s gay but attracted to Lo. But he’s not bi because he’s ONLY attracted to Lo. And wasn’t it so sweet? They lost their virginities together, and they had anal sex, where the FMC thought he must’ve been imagining a guy since he took her from behind. 🥰🙄 Fuck this.

Also, Sariah killed me. She deserved so much better. And Sean.

After finishing book 1 “resuscitation” i started this book immediately cuz i had to know what happens next. It was full of drama, action, secrets after secrets. It had more twist and turns, more thrill, more suspense, more angst and more romance. I couldnt stop reading and it might be the first reverse harem romance that actually kept me on the edge, i finished it in one sitting and i need the third book asap.

It started with action where it left off in book one, the story is about a girl named harlow whose dad recently died, she gets involved in some gang wars and falls in love with the Sainthood boys. Galen who hated her in the first book but we get to know why in this one and the secret is too much to handle, Saint who is the leader and he is a possessive mofo. I loved how he hated Harlow’s former lover Diesel and wanted to hurt him 😂. Caz who gets hard everytime, he is fucked up but can do anything for Harlow. And last but not the least, Theo who is the quiet one and we get to know about his character more. There is so much more about him then he shows and I stated to understand Theo more.

If you read my review for book 1, you must know how much i love Harlow cuz she is such a badass. She is so strong her and her relationship with each guy is so unique. One by one she won their heart and I seriously need a scene where the guys and Harlow are actually enjoying life without so much on their shoulder 🥺🥺 they really deserve some happy time. The book just got intense in every chapter, tho i got the little confused while reading cuz there are so many names, gang names and action which just went over my head 😂. Anyway, Saint his my fav cuz he is so protective of Harlow, i love him the most from all the guys 😍😍. I need the third book asap

I am beyond impressed by this intenseful and stormy book. The complexity and personalizing the characters and the plot was attention gripping. I stopped anticipating what's going to happen and let Siobhan Davis throw virtual water balloons on me wherever, whenever she wants. This book is Ah-mazing! The first book of this series had me hooked, this one just trapped me and I have no doubt the third will be cooking me.

The second book starts immediately after Resurrection. Here we have lots of emotional progress, much better understanding of the reasons behind our fucked up heroes and heroine. The characters are different from the first book, different in their dynamic. You will love how they overcome their trust issues. Harlow is one of my forever favourite heroine. She is super sass with her men. She is simply the inevitable leader no matter how domineering and controlling her men are. Each of the guys have different personalities, I love the unique ways the guys relationship with Harlow works. Harlow is tough and her goals to destroy the Sainthood is harder with all the secrets coming out and it is dangerous. Although most of the mysteries were revealed in this book the author still manages to add more of secrecy to this conundrum.

The conclusion of the story ends with a cliffhanger. Like the first book this ending also keeps us on edge. This is the best reverse harem I've read and I recommend this highly.

Wow. Just wow.  I don’t know what to write for this review.  That cliffhanger is gonna give me a really nasty book hangover. I had to process and really think about everything that happened. At the end of Resurrection i wanted to know a whole lot more about al these boys, so i like how Harlow is spending more alone time with each of them and by doing so you just get to know them better. You really feel them grow more together. how she told Saint to learn how to share.  Go girl. Saint just has to trust Harlow more and i liked how they worked toward it. But he is and always will be a possessive bastard.  I loved how badass Harlow was in Resurrection but in this book she is just killing it! Doing her training for the Sainthood, working with Diesel, scamming Darrow, everything to keep her boys safe. Galen, f*cking Galen. I think everyone hated him at the end of the first book, Maybe still hated him in the beginning, but when he starts to open up more to Harlow. Holy hell. He had my heart and now its feeling so many things. When its Theo’s time to spend time with Harlow i was really curious what he did to her to make her hate him so much. When to truth came out i was kinda shocked, Never saw that one coming. I see him in a whole new light know and i’m 100% sure he loves her.I can’t wait to see how things go between him and Caz. What’s brings us on the goofy dorkball of the four. Caz is the first one who is forgiven by Harlow , the first one she opens up to. It’s really sad how he’s always smiling and joking when he is hiding his pain.
I can’t wait to see how these 5 take sinner down and i hope they can save Harlow’s mom & Galen’s mom. I’m counting the day till the next book!

You know why I decided to pick up this series? Because I saw a lot of people recommending this as one of the best RH with queer representation in it.

So imagine my surprise when I read this part:

”We dated for roughly a year, from the time I was fourteen and a half to fifteen and a half, and that whole time, I believed he was gay. He was so troubled and upset over it, and together we found a safe place to explore our sexual desires. We watched gay porn together, and he shared some of his fantasies with me. I used sex toys on him, and my fingers, and while I was never the right sex, we derived great pleasure from one another.”
[…]
“We lost our virginity to one another, and he took my anal virginity too. In fact, a lot of times we fucked, he took me from behind, and I always believed he imagined I was some guy.”

This has to be one of the worse cases of gay sex fetishization I’ve ever read. It soured my whole experience and made my already low rating drop drastically.

Needless to say, I won’t continue with this series.

Don’t fucking push me, princess.

Rebellion is book 2 in the boys of Lowell high series and picks up right where book one left us on an epic cliffhanger.

Siobhan Davis bought us all of the action, the heat and the oh my god moments in this book and I just couldn’t put it down! The mystery is keeping me hooked, as is Harlow’s relationships with each of the guys.

An epic second book and I can’t wait for the third!

The Power of Five

The Sainthood will make you forget about everything, because you will be sucked right into their world of suspense, love, and loyalty.

Book two picks up right where book one left us off. Harlow has infiltrated the Sainthood but now there is a rift. One of their own committed the ultimate betrayal all under the guise of protecting them from her.

She’s resourceful and finds her way back. The only problem is, she’s not sure if Galen flew solo or if they were all involved. Trusting is difficult for all of them and now they will be tested.

Saint and Caz have formed their own bond with Harlow. Theo and her share a past, but they are both hurting from choices they made. They need to hash it out, so that they can be at their strongest. And a relationship with Galen is an uphill battle. She won’t let him off the hook easily for what he did. He will have to earn his way back into the fold.

Their greatest strength is in their loyalty. Each of them has strong points but together they are unstoppable.

The secrets have come to the surface. The five of them have finally realized that the only way to get what they all want is with complete honesty. The truth will hurt, but knowledge is power.

They have a single goal and share a love that will drive their mission. Love doesn’t make them weak, it only makes them stronger. These sexy men each give Harlow something different. Together they are whole. The sexiness overflows, along with the love they each feel for her.

I am eager to witness Sinner get taken down and a new era for The Sainthood. A compelling series that will leave you wanting more and dying to know what’s next.

ALL MY REVIEWS CAN BE FOUND ON MY BLOG: ABSTRACT BOOKS

'Rebellion' is the second book of the 'sainthood-boys of Lowell high' trilogy by the best selling author Siobhan Davis. Told in multiple perspectives, this book was an amazing emotional whirlwind!!

I have been waiting for this book for such a long time and I finally have it!! After that amazing but oh-so-painful cliffhanger in Resurrection , this was my most anticipated read. This book picked off right where the first one ended and the best thing I liked was that we got to see the story through the guys pov too!!

I really wanted to punch Galen for his stupid act in the first book end. But then he seemed so regretful. Harlow is confused. After the events that have taken place recently, she can't bring herself to trust the guys again. This book was an amazing read of how all the guys earn her trust again , specifically Galen. His parts were so raw! We finally got to know the reasons for his actions and my heart just broke for him. I won't say that he was right in doing what he did , bit I totally get it and I love him even more for that!

Theo and Harlow's history was also revealed and that was some emotional scene. The way Theo dedicated himself to her was so cute and beautiful! Then there was Saint. He was his usual brooding self , threatening anyone who tried to even blink at Harlow!! He is my absolute favourite ❤️. Caz was also his usual self , but in the first book we got to see his fun side , in this book we got to know him in even more depth and that only made me love him more.

I am so obsessed with this amazing world of characters Siobhan has created. That ending left me crying and begging for the next book and can't wait to read that one!! This book was so painful at times , that I had to take breaks because emotions were hitting me from everywhere! A marvelous series that is recommended to everyone out there , who would love a good reverse harem romance, with the strongest-effing-heroine I have ever seen!!

Rebellion is a thrill ride from start to finish! Siobhan Davis didn't disappoint in the much-anticipated continuation of The Sainthood - Boys of Lowell High series! She pulled out all the punches. Angst. Suspense. Action. Twists and turns. Heartbreak. And, of course, off-the-charts steam! I couldn't read this book fast enough and am dying for the final installment in this series! Five SAINTLY stars!

A disappointing sequel that, overall, felt a lot less deliberate than its predecessor. The pacing was slower, the writing sloppier, and the sex... well, it was boring.

The complexities of the first book—as absurd as they were—at least carried some weight. There was enough depth to the main character's actions and emotions that suspension of disbelief came easy. This one felt rote. Almost inconsequential, like the author was just trying to move things along without putting in the work to make the reader feel something.

The characters are a lot more high school. Yeah, it's a stupid thing to complain about considering the genre (not that they attended class all that much), but it was a tiring departure from Resurrection. Rebellion felt altogether more juvenile without the relief of teenagers acting more adult than the adults.

I thought Saint's irrational jealousy was a disservice to the relationship developed throughout the previous book. The progression of him "getting over" it was an afterthought at best. The resolution between Harlow and Galen played out with none of the delicious tension I know Davis is capable of. The thing with Theo... don't even get me started.

Lo's anger was too performative. As it was, it seemed like she spent most of this book operating on feeling over fact. There were little reminders of her initial motivations sprinkled throughout the narrative, but it wasn't enough to make it seem like anything she did was in her best interest. Her trust in the boys wasn't believable; it felt like a contrivance to further the love story.

I get this is a romance series. But for me, a disconnect between a character's thoughts and actions is usually a sign of lazy writing. Its obvious Harlow is not meant to be an unreliable narrator, and the frustrating thing is it would not have been difficult to evolve her affections in a realistic way. The puzzle pieces are there, they just don't fit together.

I will admit that I'm not really sure whether I enjoyed the first book so much I overlooked its composition. Both have the same editor, but Rebellion has a verbosity that I found very tedious. Sometimes you need to kill your darlings (“even when it breaks your egocentric little scribbler’s heart”), and a good editor should be able to help with that. Words are fun, but clear writing is more evocative. Commas are great, but short sentences provide impact.

Maybe it's a stylistic choice, and that's totally fine. To each their own. But, at the very least, the person you're paying should pick up on dropped punctuation, semantic repetition, redundant phrases, and unnecessary tense changes. Tension "bled into the air" three times, for crying out loud. Tension is dead, dude—you killed it.

Rebellion picks up right where Resurrection left off and wow, what a read! This was one wild ride! A rollercoaster of a story with thrills, steam and sizzle, and breathtaking suspense.

Siobhan Davis delivers pulse pounding action and intrigue throughout this story. You learn more about certain characters and there is plenty of mystery and edge of your seat action.

Rebellion is so freaking good with its elements of suspense, darkness, unsuspected revelations, steamy moments as well as the emotional aspects. I can’t wait for the conclusion of the series, Reign, which no doubt will be epic!!!

What’s this book about? (I'm trying to give as little spoilers as possible)
This is book 2. You need to have read book 1 to move on with this one. It’s dark, steamy and very open-minded about its #whychoose romance. BE AWARE OF THAT.

This is my second Siobhan Davis read. It was steamy, mysterious and an incredible page turner. The chemistry our lead has with her crew is just impeccable. The dilemmas that they face in this instalment were heavy. They all went on a journey. Who came out on top? Read the book to find out. The more I read Harlow’s character the more I love her. The boys are cute, too, LOL. I love the author’s writing style; it feels very refreshing and out of the box at times. She is in tune with her characters and that shows. Sometimes you might think ‘WOW THIS IS BATSH CRAZY!’ but I didn’t because I love authors who write their freaky characters in HONESTY and without judgement. That cliffhanger… It made me sad. Thank goodness book 3 was already on my kindle.
I recommend this to lovers of the dark romance type of steam, reverse harem and strong heroines that preach them facts on boys that need a lil trim (off their egos amongst other things *cough* *cough*).

5 It Just Got Real Crowns

This is book 2 in the Sainthood Trilogy and let me tell you this book takes off running. This story takes place right where the first one ended and is jam packed with all the passion and emotional turmoil we’ve come to expect from Siobhan. She does not hold any punches and without a doubt this book will rip through Every. Single. Emotion leaving you completely drained.

He pulls my face to his, pressing his lips against mine. His kiss is hard and blistering with simmering violence. When he pulls back it feels like my mouth’s just been assaulted.

The dynamic between the character’s is different in this book than the first. This book feels so much more like a RH then the first did and I loved every minute. The complexity of the relationships between Harlow and each one of the guys brings this book to life. I loved how each one of her relationships with them is completely different. She gives each of them what they need on a visceral level and they each do the same for her. With that comes the heat and passion that blooms between her and each one of the boys, each one is different but no less combustible. You can feel the heat burning from the pages about to set your Kindle on fire. This story also hits a deeper level of intensity than the first book. By getting to see each of their relationships and what happened in the past, and how that effected their current connection with Harlow.

Damn, can this man kiss—branding me with the expert ministrations of his lips and his tongue, ruining me for all eternity.

You also get to see multiple points of view in this book and I loved it. I could not get enough of the different aspects that each version brought, and how differently the situations look depending on who’s view you’re seeing it through, this brought a whole new level of intricacy to the storyline. It also allows you to see how each of them feels about Harlow in their minds instead of her interpretation of it which brings out a different layer of emotions.

“My beautiful avenging angel.” He bites my lower back, right where my ink covers the logo I hate so much. “We are going to destroy this world together.”

Siobhan has upped her game with this story bringing all the intensity and deep-rooted emotions to this thrilling and addictive read. This book answers so many questions that the first left behind but gives you so many more as you blow thru the pages. I could not put this down reading all the way through in one sitting and then in true Siobhan fashion being hit across the face with a Cliffy that will have you wanting to throw your Kindle. Siobhan knows how to create a dynamic read that will have you on the edge of your seat breathless and desperate for more.

2 stars - dnf 74%

I randomly stopped reading this book at 70% a month ago. Now I picked it back up and I'm so grateful I had notes because who are these people🤡 The way I read their names and there was zero recollection whatsoever.

The notes in question (still 100% valid)

➥ Why is Theo even there? I GAGGED when these two confessed their love to eachother. Harlow has more chemistry with a sock.

➥ I have no words for Caz. He's fine. I'm 90% sure he'd become invisible in front of a white wall.

➥ I used to like Galen the most, but he kinda acted like a pussy in this book. The whiny "I'M SOOOOORRRY" behaviour he exhibited was not the grovel I was searching for.

➥ Saint is my fav. I wouldn't mind if he was the only love interest. Or how about we delete the first three idiots and instead add Bryant and Diesel to the harem🥰

Anyway, I think returning to this so suddenly made the cringe a thousand times more prominent and I couldn't take it.

⭐️ 5 "Four is Better Than One" Stars ⭐️
Rebellion was another action packed novel full of surprises at every turn. It kept me on the edge of my seat anticipating the next bomb to drop. Siobhan Davis knows exactly how to keep you invested in this dark story that I can’t get enough of. This time around, Lo and her boys forge a bond deeper than ever and they’re seeking answers in a thrilling ride filled with filthy hot interludes!

This second installment in The Sainthood - Boys of Lowell High series started exactly where it ended in the previous book and finally gave me the explanation I wanted. Lo shows how strong she can be by going head to head with her enemies, even if the boys are against it. They’re all so protective, but she’s driven and demonstrate her remarkable abilities in combat. It’s not because she’s a girl that she needs protection. Her relationship is tenuous with some of the boys, but she slowly starts to listen to her heart more than her head and grows closer to them. She develops a special relationship on a physical level as well a more emotional attachment with each one of the boys.

I enjoyed all four of the guys so much. I discovered new facets of their personalities that had me swooning over them all. How can Lo resist their charms?! Saint, as the leader, is always is assuredly the more possessive and jealous of the group. He also shows sweet moments of tenderness toward Lo that shows that his feelings are profound. Caz is the same vibrant and funny guy, always ready for a good time. Theo has a shared past with Lo that is finally unveiled. It helps to understand their stained dynamic and slowly rebuild something beautiful. Galen was always the more mysterious with his evident animosity toward Lo and it’s not an easy path to redemption for him. He really need to show and emotional side that left me broken for him to win Lo’s trust.

The action is never ending with their quest to bring down the rival gangs, but also Sinner. New secrets are revealed making this read totally addicting and unputdownable. Rebellion was so freaking good with the suspense, darkness, unsuspected revelations, steamy hot moments and emotional stuff. I can’t wait for the conclusion of the series, Reign, that promises to be epic!!!

Rebellion picks up right from where Resurrection left off and as always our Harlow girl is BADASS. I love her! Throughout this book she continues to be the tough b*tch that she is and owns it. She has the guys falling at her feet and I’m just sitting there with my kindle, snapping my fingers going, “DAMN, GIRL!” Lol.

Now, the guys.. this group of guys. I can’t really pick out anything wrong. If you read book one then you know about my boy Galen. Yeah yeah. I know what I said. MY BOY. Aside from Saint— he’s a favorite and it’s hard to even pick favorites in this group because I mean.. it’s RH for a reason. You just want them all. Anyway, our Galen boy does what he needs to. He proves there is more depth to him and you can’t help but fall in love him. I swear, it’s possible.
Alright now, Saint. Ugh that freaking boy/man. He’s so possessive and sexy. When he’s in a scene he completely dictates those pages. He OWNS me.
Theo, we learn more about and let me tell you— I AM ECSTATIC about where his character is potentially going and also his relationship with Lo. Lastly, we have playboy Caz— I love him so much. All his humor, word of the day and how he’s exactly the lightness that Lo needs in her life. He’s perfect and really evens out the dynamic!

The story itself is freaking WILD. There are so many factors at play. The gang can’t catch a break. Every page there was a new problem and I really gotta hand it to Siobhan because she keeps the story flowing perfectly. I’m on the edge of my seat practically the whole time and I just can’t get enough of these guys! This book is a scorcher with just enough violence and humor wrapped up in an explosive bow!

Hot damn but Rebellion is intense! It picks up where Resurrection left off, and Harlow's being the badass woman she is. Even at 18, you can tell she's going to take the world by storm because she's strong, physically and emotionally, and she's got the physical skills to defend herself and kick the asses of the men stupid enough to underestimate her. She's kinda my girl crush right now cuz she rocks.

As for the relationship between Harlow and her boys, well let's just say that it deepens, it gets even hotter and finally the guys' individual personalities are coming forward. I still don't have a favorite, but I have decided I like all of them now. In Resurrection, I wasn't really sure if I liked the guys even as I fell in love with Harlow's awesome personality, but Siobhan really pulled out all the stops and developed the guys' personalities as much as she developed the plot with all the action and suspense. Being that this is a reverse harem and not a love penta (I guess that's what it's called when it's 5 people involved), it's not a competition and Harlow doesn't have to choose a specific guy, thankfully, because each guy brings something different to the penta, and Harlow loves them all.

Like in Resurrection, a lot of stuff happens, a ton of action and intrigue, and even more questions are put forth. Of course there's a holy shit now cliffhanger, and now I'm sitting here fuming that I can't read the next installment right this second.

Loving this series.

This book was just as good as the first. I've been looking forward to this book after the cliffy from the last book. It was so bad so I was happy that this book carried on from the last book. Lo and the guys have a lot to deal with in this book. They have so many things thrown at them. There tested in every way they have to learn a lot about each other and trust is a big thing for them.

I was delighted that I got to know more about Galen and Theo in this book. There was so much to find out so getting to know them better was just what I wanted from this book. So much happened in this book and there is still so much to find out about The Sainthood. Things aren't goin as well as they wanted and things are getting a bit crazy. Ye even more crazy I don't know how that can happen but it is.

I really enjoyed this book once I started I couldn't put it down. The story is so intense and had me on the edge of my seat. When you think things were goin to work something else would happen. Which is what makes this book so good. I'm dying for the next book now this book has a cliffy as well so I goin to be wishing the months away to get the next book. You do have to read the first book before this cause the link together. This is only the second book I've read from this author but I have to say I love her writing and story telling. I think I might have to read more of her books just to get more of her work. I can't really say much about the story or characters cause it would spoil the story. If you havent read this series giving a try you won't be disappointed.

Hang on for the ride of your life! Dark, razor taut, raw, welcome to a world of betrayals, agendas and tentative alliances where the hunger for lust and greed and control, as well as revenge run wild. Excess is the norm, mistrust runs rampant and no one walks away unscathed or untouched in the most intimate of ways.

Siobhan Davis is back and her writing continues to hit with the power of a freight train. REBELLION is everything we have come to expect from this author, a daring journey on the dark side where the unthinkable happens and shock and awe resounds. You may re-read parts, I did and I have to say, when an author can grab me by the throat and hold me to the very end, they have earned high praise.

Not for the faint of heart, or those with delicate sensibilities, but you sometimes NEED that jagged edged, dark and bold read, this series is a must read.

I received a complimentary ARC edition from Siobhan Davis! This is my honest and voluntary review.
