As with all the "Girl In or Out of the Box" books, this is a keeper. Fast easy familiar reads with characters to love and grow up or down with. Recommend the whole 40+ books -- each has its own story to tell and you will never be bored. Read On!

Fantastic!

I'm struggling to write a review that doesn't contain spoilers, but if you're a Sienna fan you're going to love this book. I've lost sleep because I couldn't bear to put it down.

Crikey. When Crane wraps up a Sienna story arc, he certainly does it in style.

Be prepared. This will shake up your pre-conceived notions about, well, many things Sienna related. Obviously, she is woefully outmanned. Obviously, she is going to take on the Network by herself. I mean, that's what she does, right?

As always, it's how she gets there that is the real treat.

Expect fireworks. I really don't think you'll be disappointed.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced review copy of this book.

Might just be the best book in the series so far.

Another great Sienna book and this one wraps up the plot line of the Network. I found the surprises to be fantastic. Definitely one of the best Sienna books so far

When I first started reading Control #38, I had to really pay attention, things were happening so fast it was hard to figure out who was on first, who was betraying Sienna, who was becoming a new ally? I think so far this is my favorite of the series. Sienna has a way about meting out punishment to those who deserve it, but she has a soft spot too and is finally showing it. I love that the author takes time in the later part of the book to go back and verbalize thoughts and actions, thank you Mr. Crane. I'm going to hate to see this series end. I started it in March the first month of the lockdown and looks like I'll finish it in the next couple of weeks. Thanks again for a years worth of reading entertainment, it helped to be able to turn off the TV occasionally and eliminate some of the political garbage which was becoming just as unbelievable as the adventures of a metahuman society.

Ok Sienna Nealon Junkie here

I've held onto this book a couple of months before I started reading it. I thought it would take me awhile to get back "into her world" I was WRONG! I hopped right back on the Sienna train like I never left. I was so HAPPY she found some parts of herself we thought were gone...hope that's not a spoiler. I have read all 39 of the girl in the/out of the box series, problem is when I "discovered" them last year, I spent hours just binge reading the series. Then I caught up....sucked having to wait for last few books. Robert Crane keeps this story fresh I don't even know how he does it. I really liked the flashback scenes and some of the return characters. Please please let's get more of her old friends and family involved. I miss them.

Adventure maximized

I love this series. I'm not sure if it's because I feel a kinship with Sienna's way of thinking or the mess that seems to follow her around but it's there.
Boy those Chinese. I really have a strong dislike for the PRC and its leaders the way they abuse the rights of their citizens. One of the main reasons I voted for Trump was his promise of sanctions and tariffs against them. I don't even know if people realize that they have a police presence here in our Chinese immigrant communities. It's absurd. These people come here to escape that crap and some JA let's them in? WUWT? I think we should lobby Trump's administration to make them go home. Anyway if you want lots of twists and turns and constant adventures, I highly recommend this whole series.

It's about time

Thank goodness for this book. The last couple books have been infuriating. Like a t.v.show you want to stop watching because nothing good is happening and you don't understand. This book though. Finally gets it together and made it worth it also. It could have easily all been in one bigger book. I understand they break these things up to stretch it out and make money, but I do miss long books with the full picture in them. However, if you enjoy metahumans, mythology, etc then try these out! It's wild to think how close we are coming to parallels within this book. I only wish I could get some super human powers now. I feel like a part of the story!

Was this a Sienna Nealon novel?

This is the best book in "The Girl Out of the Box" series at this point. I love how all the arcs started to fit into places as well as how the revelations were placed at certain parts (not to early, not to late).

In addition to those, it was great to pull on the bits of side information from all the other 37 books which were forgotten immediately (didn't matter back then) but turned out to be very important in this showdown.

10 out of 5 stars if it's possible.

The best book yet. Ticks ALL the boxes.

What can be said about Control without spoilers. Apart from fantastic rollercoaster ride. What fans have been begging Mr Crane to do with Sienna for an age he delivers but not necessarily in the way you would expect.

Some call backs, some new lore, a clear and present danger in the network brews control into a very enjoyable instalment of the Sienna chronicles. Not a microscope on China this time but a lot closer to home! Bravo!!!

Five stars ***** Well it seems like forever since we saw a glimpse of the old Sienna and my oh my does she show herself! I wasn’t sure how Robert would turn it around after Scotland and Rose but he’s proved himself once again. This is one of my favourites series of books, I probably started about them back in 2014 and have followed siennas journey since. Hoping to hear more about her family in the up coming books I think they will be a real addition to the storyline! No spoilers as I don’t want to give anything away but please read it’s epic.

This is the finale of the Season 7 "Control" story arc and it is SO. GOOD. I couldn't put it down. We learn a lot about what has been happening off-page for the past four books and so many things make so much more sense now. It cleared up so much for me that I want to go back and re-read this whole season because I think it will be even better with the benefit of hindsight.

Best book of the series!

Ok. Wow! I did not see this one coming. I. Loved. It!!! I don’t want to “spoil” it for anyone who reads reviews BEFORE reading the book, but you will be pleasantly pleased lol. I gotta hand it to Mr. Crane. You are a genius, man! Your mind is amazing and all the twists to make this book fall into place? Amazing. Best book in the series!

This one really rekindled my love for the series all over again. There’s been a fairly large story arc going on for many books in the series that was getting a little flat for me but this focuses on that in all the right ways and made it fresh again. Plenty of action, drama, twists and turns and I can’t wait to continue for the next batch of books!

Best book yet

Sienna's story is nothing short of amazing, and Robert Crane tied together so many different details and characters from previous books to bring this to life. Can't wait to see where she goes from here.

Finally Together Again

I am so happy to see Sienna has her powers back plus a couple more. I hated seeing her pitted against people with more power but it showed how smart she (you) was to beat them all.

This series has captivated me since the very first book. However, this particular book stands out with its exceptional plot twists and turns. It even brought back some nostalgic elements from the past. I must say, it is possibly my favorite book in the series so far

Sienna does it again!

Sienna is in the hot seat again! While the books are starting to get a little predictable, this one did have a few twists and turns that shocked me. This seemed like a good place to stop the series, so I'm curious to see how Mr. Crane keeps it going.
