About the author

Simon Richard Green is a British science fiction and fantasy-author. He holds a degree in Modern English and American Literature from the University of Leicester. His first publication was in 1979.

His Deathstalker series is partly a parody of the usual space-opera of the 1950s, told with sovereign disregard of the rules of probability, while being at the same time extremely bloodthirsty.

Género. Ciencia ficción.

Lo que nos cuenta. El libro La toma de Mistworld (publicación original: Deathstalker War, 1997) nos muestra a Owen Deathstalker y sus rebeldes llegando a Mistworld en busca de aliados, ya que el planeta no está bajo dominio imperial. Pero el imperio manda un crucero a Mistworld para controlarlo y a bordo lleva un arma secreta creada a partir del Niño Gusano y que es conocida como Legión. Quinto libro de la serie Deathstalker (en español, claro, porque en el original es la parte inicial del tercer libro de la serie).

Read this series out of order. Just found out this is not the first book in the series, just the first book in the second or third series. SMH
