Horror story masquerading as Lit RPG
After attaching to the main character through two and a half books, it was frankly traumatic to watch him turn from self-sacrificing hero to full murder hobo in the space of two paragraphs, needlessly slaughtering a trusted knight and a group of three hundred refugees. If you are a fan of Dahmer, this book is for you - but if you prefer a good old fashioned character building story, keep walking. This kind of of story reversal is a disservice to the reader, the genre, and the craft.

This would make for an excellent plotline in a game.
But this is a book series. The convenience from the real world influence combined with the plot armor for the main characters leaves this severely lacking. The sectioned ideas being put forth as unlocked sandbox areas makes the whole thing disjointed.

Reaching New Heights of Power
Battles on top of battles in multiple continuous fight to save the world..
Near the end the MC does a brutal act, while under the influence of an other, then face those whom he wronged. (I cried for his loss of honor)
In the end, joy returns to him.

More Entertaining!!
This story flows a lot from one fight to another almost none stop It's good exciting and action pack that's probably why the ending slows down a fun series to read.....

I hate trying to write reviews because there are really only pass/fail results for me. Did I make it all the way through? Yes? 5 stars. No? There would be nothing here to read. In all fairness, if an author holds my attention from page one to the end, they’ve done their job. Anything less than 5 stars is petty criticism from someone incapable of even doing the job let alone doing a better one.
So in respect for the author and their work, I am going to start pasting this along with a generic review I found somewhere. “This was a fun book. I am glad that I read it. You should try it too.”

Every book gets better!
So many baddies! But he comes through again ( well he is the hero) but at what great cost? You will have to read to see.

Manna decreases 2% per month when not reading next volume.

Yes!
Twists and turns were unexpected this time. I love this series and the author does another great job of weaving stories together, keeping the reader guessing, and having the story continue with zest and gusto. Well done.

I like the book connect with the characters and the author held my attention. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
