She doesn’t know it yet, but I’m going to claim her, no matter what it takes.
I don’t care about the cost or consequence – she will be mine.

Natalie…
The only woman who makes me stop and think.
My only obsession.
Ever since she walked into my life,
My world has been upside down.
I’m one of the most powerful men in the city.
But she controls my heart.
My wealth is worthless if I don’t have her in my arms.
Especially now that she’s in danger and desperately needs my help.
My enemy thinks she’s his to keep.
Little does he know that she’s been mine all along.
There was never a doubt...
I see her beyond just our business arrangement.
I see her soul.
I’ll go to any lengths to make sure she’s all mine.
Even if she has a secret that will change the course of my life forever.

Will I be able to claim her as my own and be the one true “daddy”?

I was sorely disappointed in this book. Here’s why. (Be aware there are spoilers ahead.) I really had such high hopes for this story. It sounded like such an appealing plot: a self-made billionaire as a cast member on a reality show similar to Shark Tank, meets a former ballerina who has come to the show to pitch her charity business that helps impoverished young dancers. Who wouldn’t love that story? But no, my hopes were dashed. Two or three chapters in and I knew this book wasn’t going to make it to shore.

I found most of the characters to be rather flat. They were stereotypes of what I wanted them to be. They mostly said the right words for the situations they were placed in, but I couldn’t get excited about them, or satisfied by them. There was nothing unexpected or surprising, or original in them. There was also a little too much internal dialogue from the characters for my liking.

The hero, Ewan, successful billionaire/businessman, in mid-divorce: drinks heavily since his wife left after cheating on him; sleeps at his office to avoid the memories at home; grumpy, depressed and getting behind on his work. He starts to change for the better when he meets the heroine.

Natalie is the big-hearted but incredibly naïve heroine: former dancer; starts her own charity to help underprivileged young dancers; suffering from an obscure illness, she plucks at our heartstrings; she whispers self-affirmations to get herself through the day—“You can do this, Natalie!”

And the secretive, manipulative billionaire/champion of charities, Marcus: basically, he arrived with “Villain” branded on his forehead. Although the author tried to portray Natalie as a smart, strong, I-won’t-take-b.s. kind of woman, I was bewildered why she turned suddenly away from Ewan, and fell so quickly for Marcus. Marcus said disconcerting things to her practically from the start such as, when they appeared in front of the press, “next time don’t be scared to show more skin, maybe some cleavage.” Perv. Or the strange way he had of asking her to leave his place after sex because he just couldn’t handle sharing a bed with anyone. And she didn’t question it at all as he was shooing her out the door? Silly deluded girl.

Maybe it was that the story was just poorly told. Much of the dialogue they spoke was a little juvenile. “Do not worry yourself Natalie, I want to see where you live. I want to know who you really are. We are to be good friends, are we not?” The author has never met a contraction.

There were more than a couple of sections I had to re-read a few times to figure out what was meant. Sometimes I thought there were two different people writing this book. The story was fairly cohesive and mostly error-free for a chapter or two. But then it quickly devolved into a grammar and spelling crime-scene. At the end of the book, Natalie and Ewan nab their HEA and get married. The author gave us the entire wedding ceremony and vows, verbatim (all 11 kindle pages of it). The description included the final ceremonial admonishment from the officiant: “Those whom God has joined together, let no one put as under.” Oh my.

This is the first time I’ve read this author’s work. Having read this particular story, however, I don’t think I’ll try another. Sadly, I can only give the book 2 stars.

Natalie is a dancer and runs a bit for profit dance studio that looks for underprivileged children to give them opportunities. She also has some serious health issues. Knowing this she goes on a TV show where billionaire businessman can offer partnerships and assist in expanding a brand or product. Imagine her joy when not one but two agree to work with her.

Marcus is the charity king. He’s in the media all the time about not only his charity donations but also his hands on work. It seems the perfect partnership and he doesn’t waste time in letting Natalie know he wants to be more than just associates.

Ewan feels like his life is over. His wife has been cheating on him and since they didn’t have a prenup she’s taking half of everything. His life is in a very dark place, then he meets Natalie. He is a marketing genius but wasn’t planning on partnering with anyone until his protective instincts flared. He couldn’t leave her alone with Marcus. Marcus may have all the press on his side but something just felt wrong.

What an amazing book! I found myself drawn into the story and my heart breaking at times and I absolutely loved it! Natalie is a dancer with a chronic illness. She gives underpriviledged dancers a chance and needs help to grow her business. Going on the tv show Money Trees, she finds herself in business with Ewan and Marcus. Ewan is in the middle of a nasty divorce but finds himself drawn to Natalie. Unfortunately, he finds that Natalie is getting closer to Marcus. What happens next is a whirlwind of emotion and strife as Natalie's health takes a turn for the worse and Marcus's business practices come under scrutiny. When she finds herself pregnant, Marcus turns cruel and refuses to believe it's his. Ewan steps in not only to take care of Natalie but make Marcus pay for the wrong he's done. In the end, it all works out for Ewan and Natalie and she gets the happily ever after she never thought she would get.

Taking a chance on love and commitment.
by sewsummore

This book's title says it all, meant a new beginning and for Natalie and Ewan. Natalie was forced through ill health to give up dancing but she did everything she could to ensure that others less fortunate could have their chance as well. His divorce left Ewan devastated and angry at the world but meeting Natalie showed him that there can be a better future for themselves if they were prepared to take another chance on love and commitment. Letting the pain of the past go and looking forward gave them the future they always wanted, complete in every way. I loved this story, the characters had made bad decisions in the past but by focusing on the future gave them a future that was perfect for them. I loved their willingness to help others less fortunate and their desire for a legacy that will live on in the future. This book made rewarding and satisfying reading.

Natalie is a dancer, at least she once was, now she mostly runs a nonprofit business whose mission is to give young dancers a chance. She developed a life threatening illness and goes on TV program to seek investors for her business to expand the children she can help. Two investors agree to help her. Things progress between both business and personal relations between both men and her.

This is a great contemporary second chance romance in a love triangle. The characters are amazing and full of personality both positive and negative. The narrative was well writtenThe storyline was interesting and love triangle was well done and full of interesting situations and surprises. I enjoyed this story and if you like feel good contemporary romances, I think you will like this one too.

Ewan has some trust issues as he had been betrayed by a cheating wife. The messy divorce was affecting his business as he had lost his killer instinct. His life took a different turn when he bid on Natalie's biz with his arch nemesis, Marcus. Lots of drama and tension as the three of them work together on the charity. He's in love with her but she's snowed by Marcus. Plenty of angst and suspense as they deal with money laundering, illegal drugs, a surprise baby, the police and so much more. Two guys, one evil and the other good. No spoiler, but there is a HEA and no cliffhanger. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review.

Natalie has started up a small business but she needs help. She goes on a show where she meets some billionaire’s that will listen to her speak about her business and then they will ask questions. Ewan and Marcus are both interested In Natalie’s business so they both become partners with Natalie. Ewan is going through a bad divorce and he is really sad but when he is around Natalie things do not seems so bad. Marcus decides that he wants Natalie and he goes after her. This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride but you will not be able to put it down. I really enjoyed reading this book.

What a delightful story all about opportunities and second chances!
The storyline is intriguing with lots of twists and turns.
This is Natalie and Ewans' story! She is a dancer with a secret trying to get "Money Tree" to buy into her dream. Ewan, a billionaire and star on the show, he is getting a divorce (which is turning nasty) from his cheating soon to be ex-wife. The chemistry between these two is palatable, but there is always a snake so enter Marcus, he is also a billionaire and star of the show and has decided that he also wants Natalie! Who will win? Will Ewan and Natalie get their HEA? Or will Marcus?

Two people meet at one of the worst times in their life. This is Ewan and Natalie's story. Ewan's rival believes that Natalie belongs to him. He is sadly mistaken. Ewan is in love with Natalie and wants her. He has to convince Natalie of this plan. The author makes the characters relatable. You kinda root for Ewan to win Natalie's love. The story is intriguing and flows smoothly.

Wow – a compelling well written read that captivated me from the first page – a real nail-biter. The plot is well developed, consistent, and flows smoothly. So much happened in this book - there is deceit, secrets, suspense, drugs, manipulations, twists and turns, and so much more keeping the excitement level at a high. Amazing characters, they are well developed and interesting. Definitely recommended!

All over the place

Unexpectedly poor. Have to say I don’t think I read what others did. Guys who seemed like strong partners become adversaries and how quick did the leading lady get into a sexual relationship with one backer only then to end up with an other. Sorry there was no emotion attached to any of the characters and I’m afraid I ended up just skipping through it in the hope it would get better. It didn’t.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is a story about a billionaire Ewan, who's wife cheated on him and now he's divorced and Natalie. The story was a little slow at the beginning for my taste so I didn't exactly fell in love with it, unlike London boss, which was the story I really really loved.

An interesting storyline. I enjoyed meeting the characters in this story. One woman who is wanted by two very different men, one good and one very bad. One has to watch what she goes through before she realizes where her heart really belongs.

Loved the story but.......

I have never read this author before and while this was a fantastic story, I have never read a more poorly proofread book in my life. I mean, it ended up being a huge distraction to even read the story there were so so many spelling errors. That's why 4 stars.

Ok read. Didn’t really have any feeling for the female character. I felt she was annoying. The male character was too timid. The other male character was immature. I do enjoy this authors book. But this was just ok.

Unexpectedly Claimed

Very POORLY proofed. Sentences were muddled, missing important words with missed spelling causing words that weren’t proper. Some sentences were so bad that in one instance it started out a female ending in being male. Sad.

Second chance romance at its best. The love they have is fierce. He loved her even though she loved another, but it all worked out in the end
