While this wasn't my favorite anthology, I could tell that each author had a clear vision for what they wanted to write and how they wanted to relate their stories to The Wizard of Oz. In my opinion, the standouts in Beyond Oz came from authors Erin Lee, Rena Marin, and Lorah Jaiyn.

I was very eager to read this anthology and see how this group of authors would rework all things Oz.

Behind the Screen - Erin Lee did a terrific job creating a twisty tale about breaking the curse of a wicked queen.

This Time - This was a great story that had both action and emotion within.

There's No Place like Home - This story had a sadness that turned sweet by the end.

Not So Good - This was a very interesting spin on the story that had a dark and unexpected ending.

Darcie Ditches Dunbarton - I enjoyed Delude's take on this classic story and I liked finding the connections and differences.

No Rest for the Wicked - I love Marin's stories and really enjoyed the flow of this one. The ending was a bit unexpected and yet very enjoyable.

Stuart: A Decision Made - This was a very unique way to end the anthology. I loved the heartwarming story that Jaiyn wrote.

Heartwarming and lessons learned

There were minor editing problems throughout the entire book but easy to overlook overall. Each story was a different version of OZ that we can dive into. Good book and several of the stories great lessons learned. The last story really wasn't OZ related in my opinion but still an emotional, wonderful story!
