Millionaire Justin Langdon had sworn off marriage... it could only cost him money. Until the day preschool teacher Amy Monroe literally saved his life. She was a woman with sunshine eyes and dangerous curves — and, even more dangerous, dependents! So why was Justin getting an inexplicable urge to show Amy he was man enough for anything she might need — including a husband?
Leanne Banks was born on 14 May 1959 in Roanoke, Virginia, USA. She holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology, which she claims she can only use on fictional characters. When her first book was published in 1991, she used the money from her advance to take her family to Disney World.
Leanne is known for telling a story with strong emotion, characters with whom everyone can relate, a kick of hot sensuality, and a feel-good ending that lingers. She believes in creating stories for her readers that will allow them to escape into a place filled fun, emotion and sensuality. She believes that she has the best readers in the world because they understand that love is the greatest miracle of all.
Leanne is the recipient of Romantic Times Magazine's career-achievement awards in Series Sensuality and Love and Laughter, and her books have been recognized by the Award of Excellence Contest, the Romance Writers of America RITA Award contest and the National Readers' Choice Awards. She is grateful for awards and reviews and was particularly moved by a letter from a reader remarking that Leanne's book got her through a chemotherapy session. The reader's letter inspired a favorite turn of phrase: Never underestimate the power of a romance novel.
Leanne lives in her native Virginia with her husband, two teenage children and a Pomeranian. She also has a little condo in South Carolina where she writes in the off-season. She loves music, chocolate, quotes, and new adventures.
He thinks he almost died , but h saved him . After the surgery he is like a new Man altogether . He thinks God saved him coz his mission on Earth is incomplete, now that he is alive and safe he is determined to find his mission and accomplish it.When he meets h again and learns that she is fighting a custody battle,he knew he found his mission. He keeps talking to god , says he is convincing Almighty that he is not the man whom h wants to marry to save the custody of her niece and nephews .
" He’d spent most of the night arguing with the Almighty, trying to convince Him that Justin was not a good choice for this job. It was the strangest coincidence. The thunderstorm had gotten louder and louder the more Justin had argued. When he finally shut up in defeat, so had the storm. Coincidence, he told himself again, but he knew what he had to do. Marry Amy Monroe. " .
This book is a disappointment for me after reading the first book in this series . I felt like H and h's love was forced , Climax was not justified for me.
Description "I'm certainly not a choice candidate for marriage or anything involving kids." --Justin Langdon, top stock jock and confirmed bachelor

Typical Harlequin, sweet, but the ending in the manga is dfferent than in the novel. I prefer the dramatic ending in the manga although it was very nonsense 😂
Kind of a push to get the set up, but it had it's moments. Banks writes lovely people with big hearts. If they don't have a big heart at the beginning, they do at the end.
I am still the process of reading - or reread -my books by Leanne Banks to clear space on book shelves and save the best. This one's on the fence.
