A short read. We have Ebony who is dying, and one day she is being attacked and two alphas come to her rescue. Luca and Dante have their own pack, but they get along great. They are fighting with another pack. They want to keep her safe. Can they? What is she keeping from them? What will happen to her daughter? Will they accept her daughter? Will Ebony accept them as their mate?

I was given this book for free in exchange for an honest review. As I’ve said before, I always give honest reviews whether people appreciate them or not.

This story begins with Ebony relaxing near her car at the beach. She and her daughter Alisha spent the day having fun and Alisha was napping in the car. She’s interrupted from her rest/daydreaming by a large man assaulting her. Luckily he’s interrupted by two men. As you know from the title, the two men are alphas, what you don’t know is that she and the beach area are in their territory. They save her because both of them refuse to allow women to be abused and because their noses tell them she’s their mate.

Alisha’s father passed away so it’s just Ebony and Alisha in their tiny family. Ebony is taking her daughter to every beach she can because it turns out that Ebony is dying and she wants to spend as much time as possible with Alisha before she dies. Fun right? The alphas are Luca and Dante, best friends and alphas of neighboring territories. Ebony and Alisha are plain old humans where the alphas are wolf shifters. There is a third territory near theirs led by an alpha named Marco. Marco’s pack is causing many problems for Luca and Dante’s, and eventually for Ebony too.

For me, this story was a bit slow paced and stereotypical. My favorite character? Alisha, the seven year old daughter of Ebony. I chose this book to read because I read, reviewed and absolutely loved Ms. Schutt’s ‘Dolmire Academy of Spells’. I was a bit disappointed, but on the other hand both Ebony and Alisha were great characters. My biggest problems were that Ebony and her daughter are pale Caucasians with red hair and their names don’t really mesh with their descriptions. I kept hearing that old 1982 song by Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder whenever I read Ebony’s name.

Ebony has brought her daughter on a trip because she found out that she was dying from stomach cancer. She wanted her daughter to have one bright happy memory before the bad stuff happened. They were at the beach when a man tried to attack Ebony. Dante and Luca stepped in to save her and ended up imprinting on her. Dante and Luca are both Alphas and share their territories together and its no surprise that they would end up sharing a mate as well. Hearing them call her their mate scares her and Ebony takes off with her daughter. However she doesn't get far before the same man tries to attack her again and this time he puts his hands on her daughter. Dante and Luca show up just in time to save them again and this time they convince her to go home with them. Yet what she never counted on was that a war was about to start with another territory. Plus she hasn't share her illness with the guys yet either. Will her being sick change things between them? Can they all survive the battle that's to come?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I love all of McKayla's work and this is no exception she makes her characters relatable in fact you fall in love with them and it is always a little heartbreaking when you get to the end of the book and this one is no exception

Ebony a human doesn't have long to live she has faced her mortality the only thing she fears is leaving her daughter Alisha unprotected. In an attempt to give Alisha memories to last a life time they have headed to the beach to build those memories There Ebony is attacked by a sick wolf but two wolves come to her assistance. Dante and Luca are both alpha wolves who have decided to join to protect their territories This has worked well but they are worried that once one of them imprints with their mate it will break their bond what actually happens is they both imprint with Ebony. They can save her as changing her will cure her if she survives the change Can they risk it and will they be able to protect her while they also defend their combines territories from an encroaching alpha and his pack.

Entertaining story, lot of challenges with good solutions. Luca and Dante, friends co-Alpha their packs. They having problems, with Marco, Alpha of a neighboring pack. Ebony,widow was on the beach having some water toe time while her baby, Alisha slept in the car. Ebony, was contemplating her diagnosis of a terminal illness, with 3 months left. She was about to get raped, when Luca and Dante showed up. Both men imprinted on her. Ebony recognized the danger. The men wanted to get her and Alisha to safety. Dante is more aggressively pragmatic and Luca is more peacefully soothing. If their mate didn't accept them, their wolves would vanish. Ebony drove off, the men followed on foot. When they got to the hotel, the stranger was there again. Will Ebony accept them as her mates? What about her illness? Will Alisha like the men? Will Marcus continue to be a threat? Good story. I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This story had a little bit of everything. Drama, suspense, paranormal, good characters and a HEA. Ebony is ill and is afraid of leaving her daughter alone. When attacked, she is saved by Luca and Dante. They are alpha wolves of two packs that have combined. They were afraid they would have to split things up because they might imprint on different mates. Both men end up imprinting on Ebony. There is someone after her and the wolves are having trouble also. Ebony must put her daughter first. Can she insure that she will be taken care of by the men when she dies? What will happen when Luca and Dante find out that shes hidden things from them? You should pick up this short story and find out! I will be reading more by the author

She is rescued by Dante and Luca – twice, in fact, as the sick wolf won’t back off. Luca and Dante recognize her as their mate and both of them have imprinted on Ebony. They can save her life by changing her to a wolf. But their troubles are not over, as another pack continues to test their pack boundaries and try to start trouble. Can they protect their mate? Will she survive being changed?

I love shifter stories, and this was another good one from this author. Grab your copy and see if Ebony survives her ordeals and is willing to settle into a family with her mates.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Luca, Dante, and Ebony. Ebony and her daughter Alisha are at the beach, after getting the diagnosis of stomach cancer, Ebony vows to make it memorable for her daughter while they are at the beach a guy tries to attack Ebony but Luca and Dante come to her rescue. When they talked to her the first time there's an instant spark, they imprinted with her. She's freaked so she runs away only to be attacked again at her hotel room. Dante & Luca come to the rescue again. Things are getting crazy with their packs since they are both alphas, someone keeps trying to cause problems. The story is about them learning how to deal with two alphas and their mate. Great HEA.

All in all a pretty good read with some good action mixed in. A little too convenient in places but still enjoyable nonetheless! Ebony, and her daughter, are out at the beach when she is attacked and then rescued by Dante and Luca. They imprint but she is dying. Still, the alphas track her down onky to find her being attacked again, by the same man. This time they take her and her daughter home with them. At the same time, they are battling attacks from a neighboring pack and are trying to prevent all out war! This tale deals with all that as mentioned a little too slickly in places but a good read is still delivered for an afternoon's entertainment

Ebony was on the beach while her daughter Alisha napped in the car when she is attacked.
Having been given five months ti live with the advancing cancer Ebony decides to spend the time making good memories with her daughter Alisha so today they were enjoying a day at the beach. Alisha had tired herself out and was napping in the car while Ebony was relaxing on the sand when a man comes up and starts grabbing at her. As he is choking her he is pulled off her and while one man deals with her attacker the other protects Ebony. Alphas Luca and Dante are walking along the beach when they see a woman being attack and when they get close to Ebony they find that she is the mate of them both.

This book is a winner. Tear-jerker as Ebony knows she doesn't have much time left and wants to spend every minute she can with her daughter. As they are at the beach, she is attacked by a man and our two alphas, Dante and Luca, save her. They each have a pack that borders the other, plus there is one more pack that borders theirs too and they are not nice. Both alphas imprint on her and it works out well for them. They work as co-alphas with their packs and worried that would end if they found separate mates. Ebony has her secrets but she wants them to take care of her daughter when she's gone. They don't want to lose her. Really good short story. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.

I enjoyed this paranormal read! It's a good wolf shifter story with good twists and turns. I like the characters and the plot is interesting with action, suspense, danger and lots of steamy passion. Ebony and her daughter are rescued, not once but twice, by Luca and Dante. Learning they have both imprinted on Ebony she is destined to be their mate. First, they must convince her but also save her by changing her. I enjoyed the story! You get not only the developing relationship between the three but add cute Alisha and Craig get added to the family. The pack action and threats were an added bonus that made this a captivating and fast paced short story.

I loved this story it’s a fantastic read it’s about Ebony who is dying she’s also a single mum Ebony takes her daughter to the beach for some fun but while her daughter sleeps Ebony is attacked she is saved by two men Luca and Dante who are both alpha wolves, they imprint on Ebony which scares her so she runs back to her hotel where she is attacked again and in comes Luca and Dante to save their mate again. Luca and Dante can save Ebony’s life by changing her but they are having problems with Marco an alpha whose causing all kinds of problems for them and now that includes Ebony too. Fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

IF A BOOK IS LESS THAN 100 PGS IT SHOULDN'T B CHARGING OVER 2.00 4 A DAMN BOOK!! it sucks meeting the men that u were born 2 love as mates under such shitty circumstances. One mate saved her from a death b4 it was x but it benefited her in the long run. Hopefully when her daughter is much older she will get changed whether it's from a possible mate or not. That stupid old woman needs a beat down 4 what she did 2 her daughter and now 2 her only grandkid cause of her stupidity. Hopefully there will b another for this book with it being a longer read this x...

Two friends, alphas of a joint pack find their human mate just when a third pack is unstable and young men are posturing for a good position to become the next alpha and attack the joint pack. Not an easy situation to start a new relationship
An interesting story, with a dynamic of an unexpected menage with additional spice added through conflict and danger.
The book was entertaining and held a few surprises. A good read.

Ebony cashed everything in and took her daughter on a trip to the beach when she found out she had cancer and had only a few months to live. When she is attacked one evening two men come to her rescue. Dante and Luca are wolf shifters and alphas who run their packs together. They both imprint on Ebony as they touch her and now the two wolf shifters need to convince Ebony to give them a chance. On top of that, the neighboring pack is in turmoil. This was a very enjoyable and entertaining read. I'm a total sucker for second chance at love story and this one was a very sweet read about finding love when you least expected it add in the action, suspense, and of course steamy romance and you have a helluva read. Lots of adventure
Dante and Luca meet Ebony while on the beach where another guy was attacking her. The two saved her and they both imprinted with her then she leaves. The guys follow and find the same guy attacking her again at her hotel with her daughter Alisha there. They save her again, so she gives them a chance.
This book has lots of action and adventurer throughout it. Well written self-contained story that’s very entertaining to read.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

This book had a little different take on things by adding a human child in the mix. I thought it was a good book. There were some graphic sex scenes, but overall the book was well written and I didn't see any typos. I would recommend it if you don't mind graphic sex scenes.
