This is my new favorite work in Cardini’s ongoing exploration of his magical, imaginative world of the Hyperverse. Profound and introspective, it is all the more rewarding on reread. It follows the powerful mystical space-wizard, The Miizzzard, as he enters an alien realm of the Urscape and finds himself trapped by an evil force. He must undergo a journey of self discovery in order to free himself and gain a deeper understanding of his enemies. The full-page spreads make it a lean and fast-paced read that belies its deeper complexity. And the art-style continues to compliment and enrich the stories of this bizarre world.
