No Mountaineer fan will ever forget the 2007-2008 football season. But whether those fans remember it favorable or unfavorably is another matter. Few West Virginia University football teams ever entered a season with such high expectations. Talk of a national championship not only wasn’t discouraged, it was also seen as a very real possibility. Never has there been a more topsy-turvy season in the annals of WVU football, and The Dominion Post is proud to bring you this keepsake book of stories and photos by our newspaper’s sports and photography staff so that Mountaineer fans will be able to look back on this amazing season for years to come.
