From the moment I started reading this story, I was immersed into the fast paced action, dangerous conditions and wonder of how the characters would survive. Within the danger and unknown, love grows and trust is cautiously found. Great read. I received a complimentary copy of the book. No review was required.

I have no idea why I struggled to stay into this story because it was very good!

Jax and Erin, both CIA agents are in Pakistan and are on the run for their lives, only it seems that their enemies are always one step ahead of them. Everything is not as it seems and those they thought were enemies were truly friends, and those they thought friends were their enemies - only which friend is behind the conspiracy?

There were a couple of things that weren't resolved, or answered, by the end of the story - not big things, but things that were a part of the story that didn't get their ending. The biggest question for me was how was their enemy able to stay one jump ahead of them or know exactly where they were? The second one was - did they ever find out what was in the safety deposit box?

Great suspenseful action packed and clean romantic story. Can't wait to read more by this author

Be prepared for a fast-paced suspense involving military forces. All of a sudden a military team is being targeted and only two people are putting the pieces together if they can stay alive to finish their mission.

A Very Compelling Book!!

This was a fast read filled with dark secrets, mystery, romance and heart pounding suspense. People supposed to be enemies turned out to be friends and trusted friends turned out to be enemies. A great story that had me losing sleep to finish it.

Trying to figure out what happened with her partner could end up getting Erin killed. This exciting and alarming tale keeps the adrenaline flowing and makes you scratch your head as you try to decide who is really guilty and why and who can be trusted. The action-packed adventure will hold your interest through to the end while you hope the characters you have come to care about make it okay. The story seems realistic and one I wouldn’t want to face in person. I received a copy from the author. All opinions are my own.

Hallowed Ground is a very well-written clean romantic suspense book. I was pulled in at the prologue and only let go at the end of the epilogue. I loved the main characters--their loyalty to their team and friends, the high standards that they set for themselves, their faith, their dedication to their tasks, and the very human grief they experienced. The setting is unusual for romantic suspense and added so much tension to the story. The plot twists and turns and moves at a fast pace. I was completely surprised at who the villain turned out to be. There is a great HEA. I highly recommend this book! I received a complimentary copy. I chose to write a review and share my opinion of this excellent novel.

If you have never read anything by this author start here. I could not put this book down from beginning to the end. I loved the main characters Erin and Jax, both were complete fighters and would not stop at anything to bring justice to for their friends. I really also enjoyed how the author literally keeps you guessing till the end, trust me you will think you have it all figured out and then the author those in a twist. Before I realized this book was part of a series there is a character I wished the author would have followed up with but now I know its a series I can't wait to read more about these characters and what's going to happen next. This book is a clean read so suitable for all. Seriously grab this book you won't regret it.

This novel had more romance than others I have read by her, but the intensity of running from the bad guys is the same if not greater. In this gem, Cia agents Erin and Jax find themselves hiding in Afghanistan as well as fleeing from multiple attacks. Uncertain of the source of the attacks, they are forced to trust no one, not even their people. Full of twists and turns to the very end, I give it 5  stars.

Wow! How do you hide in Afghanistan when there is a mole in the CIA that is always one step ahead of you? Don't trust anyone and keep looking over your shoulder? Well yes, only the only one you find out you can trust is who you thought was the enemy! Lots of action, danger and a little romance. Loved the suspense and romance! this is a revitting story to the end. erin and jax or cia agents in the middle east when their unit is attacked. now they are back home recuperating but still want to know you killed their friend now someone is following erin. can they figure out who is a traitor before more are killed? I was given a copy of the book but this is an honest review. if you like suspense you will want to read the book

Hallowed Ground by Mary Alford is an action packed story that leaves you at the edge of your seat the entire time. There are so many ups and downs, chaos, run for your life drama, there's barely time to breathe.

Good read

Fast moving plot. Kept my attention. Nice development of characters and their growing relationship to Christ. Planning on reading the next one!
