Managing a nightclub where they are able to have their pick of desirable women, African-American cousins Terry, Jeff, and Tyrelle experience the impact of infidelity, monogamy, and commitment on their relationships. A first novel. Original.
Harold L. Turley II was born and raised in Washington, D.C. An author and performance poet, he lives with his children in Brandywine, Maryland. Turley first thrilled readers with the critically acclaimed novel Love’s Game, touched the lives of many with Confessions of a Lonely Soul, and showed the practical glamour of the life of crime—while introducing readers to the effects and consequences of that life—with his urban fiction title, Born Dying.
LOVE'S GAME written by Harold L. Turley II tells the story of three male cousins, Terry, Jeff and Tyrelle, playas in the game, unwilling to pass off their playa cards. With so much on the line, is there ever a time to stop playing?
Terry, the older of the cousins, who is married with a son, has allowed many women to put his marriage asunder. Can it finally be, after years of cheating on his wife, Terry feels a twinge of guilt?
Jeff appears to be drowning in a rut with his live in girl, Chelle. Should he or shouldn't he take it to the next step? Does the next step include Jeff coming clean with Chelle about his part-time activities?
Tyrelle's the worst of the worst. While he has Jodi, a doctor, who loves him, commitment and him don't get along too well. Karma appears to be knocking on the door. Is Tyrelle ready to face the error of his ways?
I'd purchased LOVE'S GAME after reading CONFESSIONS OF A LONELY SOUL. I truly enjoyed the personalities of each character, as well as the growth. LOVE'S GAME is like the gentler side to playas. Recommend it and would read other books written by this author.
