Former black-ops operator Sam Flatt wants to be done with his past and enjoy a pastoral life on his little farm outside Houston. His former boss has different ideas and drags him back into service to hunt down the person who has kidnapped several high-profile Washington politicos. The deeper he gets, the more he finds nothing is as it seems. Flatt will find himself facing an unthinkable choice that will change not only his life forever, but that of the nation. Fake News is a high-stakes thrill ride that is timely and chilling. The first book in the Sam Flatt series, Unallocated Space, won thriller of the year and enjoys a 4.7-star rating across hundreds of reviews.

This is my first time reading a Jerry Hatchett book and I am a new fan. I'm a thriller junkie and this book had all of the excitement, suspense, plot twists, action and speed that a junkie such as myself craves. I stayed engrossed in the storyline from cover to cover, holding on for every dip and turn. It was unputdownable. I was provided a free advance review copy and give my review strictly voluntarily. I am rushing out to purchase the first Sam Flatt now.
