Pam Nightengale ran back home to Newfoundland when she thought the man she loved would never accept she came from a large wonderful family. She also couldn't take the chance that her large wonderful family would find out what she really been doing while living in Ontario.
Damon Blackwood didn't understand why Pam was so secretive about her past. When she pushed him away he decided that their relationship was never going to happen no matter how much he loved her. One phone call from her family changes that and he runs back to Newfoundland to help rescue her.
As they rekindle their romance, they work together to find out who has made Pam a Target and why Damon was the key to finding the answer.
What does someone say to describe themselves? You could start with giving what others say about you. Scratch that. It doesn't really matter what others think about you. It matters what you think of yourself. So here we go.
First of all, I'm a wife and mother. I'm also a new grandmother. That alone would fulfil any woman's life. To be honest it does. But.....
I'm also a writer. Someone who loves to tell stories of love, suspense, heartache and of course happily ever after. For most of my life, I've written those stories for myself. A type of therapy, I suppose. I love the characters I create. They become part of who I am because there's part of me in them.
So.... Now that you know this about me. I hope when you read my books, you fall in love with them.
You should also know that I'm a Newfoundlander. What is that you ask? Well we're a proud people who live on an island, off the east coast of Canada. Some people believe Canada ends with Nova Scotia. It doesn't. If you keep going east, there is a beautiful island full of amazing people and magnificent scenery. That is where my stories are set because let’s face it. The best stories always come from the places you know and love.
If there is anything else you would like to know about me. Ask me!
Keep getting better with each book. But to be honest everyone I have read are so good. I have read both of these series back to back. I still can't wait to read more from this author. If you haven't read anything from this author you are missing out.
This is another good story; in an extensive series (from the O’Connor Boys to the O’Connor Girls.) Sad to see the series end..?? But, is it really over?! One could only hope the stories keep coming with the warriors from Keith’s security company, to the siblings of the O’Connor spouses.
This story evolved around Pam O’Connor (or Trixie-inside joke - if you read the book..) (I did love the reference to Trixie Belden (my favorite young childhood stories!) and her “lost” love. As always with Ms. Rhonda, it was well written, with some decent action. I was sad, that I was right as to whom the “bad guy” was (not giving it away), but this person wasn’t really bad (in my humble medical opinion); just very mentally unstable. When you read, you’ll understand why.. Sad... I’d give 4.5 stars if the system would allow!
Pam and a David met when she was working at a gentleman’s club and they started a relationship he did not even know her real name. Pam wanted to start up a business and she needed cash so bartending and dancing help d her follow her dreams. She left that life behind to go back home ,leaving David in the dark until he met her again at a wedding. Pam claims she doesn’t want him if she does she will have to admit to her family what she was up to while she was gone.
Then her life is threatened and David steps in, this story is antsy and you wonder if these two will ever get together, but I loved the ending.
Wow! I loved reading this book! It's a captivating, steamy, moving & suspenseful romance. Filled with secrets & twists & turns. The emotions, the humor & their chemistry pulled me in, & kept me reading till the end! Pam ❤ Damon, are perfect together! Most Highly Recommended!!
I love all of the O'Connor books. This book has a bunch of suspense with twists. As always the characters really make the story. And the romance has a happy ending.
Rhonder Brewer out did herself again brought the action and drama to the O'Connor family again. Cupid's arrow hit again and hit it's mark. Pam and Damon story definitely kept everyone on their toes. Theses characters are the ones you never want them to end.
I have now read all the books about the girls !!! All four books were awesome. But you left out trunk and Adrian are you going write books them ? Thank for both series they were awesome! Keep the good books coming
Really loved this book just wish Pam and Damon would have had their wedding along with her grandma and Tom before the story ended looking forward to more stories to come from this author
