Sorry folks I just didn't enjoy this, I like to finish a book when i start it, but made the mistake of buying the combined books 1-9 so it was a real chore to get to the end. Half way through it became drawn out and padded, the story drifted aimlessly along, with bad guys coming back when they'd been finished off already and back ground information being repeated several times (boring padding). If I had bought the individual books, I would have stopped half way through. By the time I got to the end I couldn't wait to finish. This is a risk authors should consider. When the first few books go well, the temptation is to extend the series to get more sales, however that risks blowing the credibility of the author (and your interest in other book series they may have published) when inevitably they run out of steam in this series and the plot gets weaker each new book.

Satisfying!

I bought the Ultimate Edition based on a recommendation I got from a newsletter. I really had no idea what the series was about, and once I git into the first book I was hooked. I h ave recently been exploring the notion that reality as we in this world is just a simulation, and I was shocked to discover that this series was all about that - albeit with a science fiction take.

I would recommend this series to anyone who has ever wondered if we really are in a simulation.

I would love to see a sequel series to find out if they ever get off of that moon.

Forever to read!!

Wow , I think this is the longest continuous saga I have ever read. And I read a lot. I thought Stephen king s the stand was long , but this makes it look like a pamphlet.
There were several times that I cried while reading this. It is a rarity that a character's plight affects me so much. Isaac Hooke is a great author, think I remember Correctly he authored a series I read about 30 years ago about time agents fighting temporal terrorists that was also really good. Funny his picture doesn't look that old , maybe I'm in error? Still I look forward to reading any future books by him! Well.done!
Oops I did remember wrong it was Simon Hawke who wrote the time books, sorry Isaac Hooke.
But Hawke is a good author too , I think I'll read those books again starting with the "Ivanhoe gambit"

Mostly enjoyed it

Interesting concepts, some likeable characters as well as some that definitely deserved their fates. Some rather awkward word choices but very few grammatical errors. Interesting concepts of the technology involved.

I liked this series.

I totally enjoyed this series. I liked that it had a little of everything, romance, mystery, danger. It was a little gruesome but not so much I felt the need to quit reading. I would be interested if a follow-up series was available.

Amazing Mindbending Spsce Opera

Full of surprises as the story expands reality and reality becomes imagination. Loved the character development. The travel between Jupiter and Earth did not work for me but the book was a blast!

Not bad

Why do authors not understand that in English there are specific rules that govern the use of "" I" and "ME" and " who" and "whom" , and they're really quite easy to learn .Otherwise an entertaining story.

Good series

I liked the different species in the stories.
The overall story arc is solid.
There were a few times the characters used terms and phrases that we know but I doubt they would have that far in the future. I would have liked to see a few of the other characters developed more but in the end it’s not important.

The Matrix meets... Star wars?

Lots of twists and turns in this space-age, new age saga. Just when you think you've figured it out - another roller coaster hits you.
