Sayyid Abul A’la Maududi [Abū 'l-Aʿlā Mawdūdī) (Urdu: ابو الاعلىٰ مودودی‎ – alternative spellings of last name Maudoodi, Mawdudi, and Modudi) was a journalist, theologian, Muslim revivalist leader and political philosopher, and a controversial 20th century Islamist thinker in British India, and later Pakistan. He was also a political figure in Pakistan and was the first recipient of King Faisal International Award for his services 1979. He was also the founder of Jamaat-e-Islami, the Islamic revivalist party.

Listened audiobook in YouTube, 3hr 17min 15sec. Audiobook is not too clear, as there are spelling mistakes etc.

Book is moderately comprehensive and in depth in explanation of the Islamic religion. Pretty long too. Pretty good and can consider its physical book.

keren, buku ini kecil, dan aku memilikinya dah lama dan baru aku tadi malem.. sungguh islam adalah agama yang benar dan kita di wajibkan untuk menerapkannya dalam kehidupan dunia yang kompleks ini. demokrasi islam sangatlah berbeda dengan demokrasi ala barat.

negara yang menegakkan syariah islam dan menjadikannya sebagai dasar negara sungguh merupakan negara yang beruntung. dan berharap itu akan terjadi di indonesiaku tercinta, karena saya benci politik ala barat, mengahalalkan segala cara untuk kepentingan golongan. padahal kita di ciptakan oleh tuhan dan untuk tuhanlah kita hidup sebagai khafilah d atas bumi. dan atas tanggung jawab itu kita bekerja. memang sangat sulit, namun allah akan memudahkan hambanya yang ikhlas.
