I read this after listening to the author's podcast. This is not a great work of literature, but it is a solid introduction to crypto currency. Since that's its purpose, it succeeds. This book includes helpful step-by-steps for neophytes to get involved in purchasing crypto, and helpful tips for avoiding n00b mistakes. If you are looking for a single quick book to read because you think you should understand and perhaps start investing in crypto currency (and you should), this will fit the bill. The authors have been offering this book from their website free (buyer pays shipping), and that's how I got it.

Good intro to the crypto world and steps of how to get started, that was not why I liked it as I know all of that already, but insight into what blockchain can do is what I loved about it, beyond the currency part of it. Eye opening for future passive income.

Since it was published in 2020 and because the crypto market changes quickly, the book is not up to date regarding some of the newer things going on in the crypto space. Nonetheless, the authors do cover the basics pretty well. The writing is generally clear, and the progression of the book is logical.

The book has two sections. The first section deals with the existing system of fiat currency, banks, and so forth, and points out the inherent inequities and short comings of the system. Crypto currencies are promoted as a viable and inevitable solution. Some questions about the crypto world are answered such as security, adoption, and so forth. They also compare it to gold.

The second section is a how to section. They explain how to set up an account using Coinbase as an example. They explain how to purchase Bitcoin on Coinbase. They urge the reader to set up wallet and use Trust Wallet as their example. Information on how to create private keys and what to do with them is included. Although basic information, it is done rather well with screen shots and so forth.

The book is a bit of a puff piece for their crypto advisory, and the authors make a strong case for the reader to invest in crypto, the sooner the better. In their minds it is the coming thing, and the reader is encouraged to not miss out.

This is such a well written piece that gets your attention immediately, and keeps you interested. If you’ve ever wanted to learn about cryptocurrency but don’t know where to start, this is the book for you. The authors have extensive knowledge in the industry and they share what they know with their readers in Crypto Revolution in an educational way that’s easy to understand and fun to learn about. From how it started, how to invest, and how technology is connected, it is all covered here. Highly recommend!

I wanted to learn the basis of Bitcoin and this book did that. However the book is 4 years old and lots of new info about Bitcoin and other crypto is available now. And even more changes are coming since our new president wants to be the “Crypto President” and wants the Fed to sell gold and buy Crypto!

To fruition, ....this book is exactly what it claims to be in the earlier of the text, which is neat. I personally do not know more than this book about crypto, aside from the SOL markets, but it is prospective and instructs better than one would gain from your average personal research on the particular type of topic. A definite 4/5 stars, from me.

I’m excited about the future of cryptocurrency and this book has helpful tips to join the revolution, but in the world of literature, this is poorly written, repetitive, and lacks professionalism. Feels like a bunch of dudes wrote this in their basement and didn’t ask anyone to edit it.
