The One Thing Book Summary - Keller's Book - The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary.

Gary Keller doesn’t put his success down to the fact that he worked harder or longer than anyone else, but rather a precise methodology he coined "the one thing." The essence in his idea is to identify the one thing which, once completed, will make all the other aspects of a problem or a project easier to achieve or simply unnecessary.

Great Summary of What I Already Know But Don't Always Practice

Yes I have been an entrepreneur since leaving grad school in 1973. However as a kid in a toy store I have had the problem of FOCUSING on The ONE THING!

YES I have had now three careers of over 10,000 hours each making me a polymath. However what if I had totally FOCUSED on the public relations consulting business instead of getting involved in the video production business and then the Preparedness and Survival Skills consulting. Would I be one of the top public relations experts in the world in huge demand? Most likely.

Keller also goes beyond the 80/20 Rule by taking the 20 and reducing it by 20% more continuously until he gets to the ONE THING! I have actually done that with my Preparedness and Survival Skills as I am the ONE expert for SURVIVING the Grand Solar Minimum effects we will see as we approach 2024.
