Okay so yeah… my plans to let go of the only man I would ever love isn’t working. In fact, things between us are heating up. I fell for him long ago, but the time we’ve spent together has only strengthened that love. What in the hell was I thinking letting him so close you ask? I wasn’t thinking with my head I tell you that much. I know I should’ve let him go. I shouldn’t have allowed him deeper in my heart. I just couldn’t help myself. That man has owned my heart and dominated my soul since the first day we met. He laid that helluva smile on me and it was over.
However, there’s one problem. Secrets. Yes, this is that typical story of someone holding back secrets for fear of losing the one they love. Admittedly, the secrets are tearing me apart. I have to confess all to him. I have to purge my soul. But what if I lose him? What if he finds out that I’m not who he thinks I am, that I’m not the woman for him? Would I lose him? God, I can’t lose him. I’d die. But I can’t keep stringing him along either. He has to know the whole truth about me. I have to take the risk if I’m going to be with his man.
I just hope my secrets don’t destroy us. That would truly suck.

I’ll admit that sh#t gladly. I love that woman. Can’t keep my hands off her, my lips as well as other parts I won’t name. I can’t see my life without her. Listen. I need her, crave her, desire her, yearn for her. My heart beats for her, my soul demands to have her. That woman is made for me. God has placed her on this earth for me and only me. Now, I just have to show her that I’m the only man she will ever need. So far, my plans to woo my woman is working. I have her right where I want her, in my arms and in my bed. Now, I just need her to give me her heart. I’m so close. She’s holding back. I don’t have a clue why. I know she loves me. I can see it in her eyes. She thinks she’s hiding from me, keeping secrets but there’s nothing she could tell me that would push me away. The sooner she realizes I’m never letting her go, the better off she’ll be.
F#$k it, the next time I see her I’m just going to grip her by the back of the neck and stick my tongue down her throat. No matter where we are, I’m staking my claim like a man should and put her fears at rest. Then she’ll know exactly who she belongs to without a doubt.

Warning… This is a suspenseful romance story with guns, and explosions, and blood, and sex and emotions and all that good stuff. I have taken some creative liberties with this story, creating a world from my imagination. Yes, some aspects of this story are true, i.e. the location of scenes, cities, etc… but please keep in mind this is a fictional story with characters and situations that don’t exist in today’s society. Although, I wish we did have some badass female snipers. I bet there are women out there that could shoot circles around their counterparts, just saying.
Anywho, I hope you enjoy the final conclusion of Shane and Misty. It’s going to be a long, rollercoaster ride so be warned and ready.

My critique of the last book was the long wait and this time around I had to re-read the previous two books to get caught up in the plot and refresh myself on the characters. Best part of this book is Misty, she’s strong and badass. Definitely not a damsel in distress which actually bothers the male characters in the book. This book was also way better than the second book because you get way more background on Misty and Shane and why he was already in love with her. So I was confused in two areas the CIA analyst who Malcolm has a crush on its mentioned she’s married in one area and then widowed in another. I wasn’t really into her character and didn’t understand why she got so much time unless the author is setting her up to be Malcom’s love interest but if that’s the case why the mystery in the epilogues on who he married. Also, I was confused about all three epilogues timelines. Overall I’m enjoying the series and would rate this as 4.5 read.

OMG, this story was on FYAH!!!
If I could give this book 10 stars I would. If you like stories that are full of fast action drama with hawt erotic love scenes, this is the story for you. I highly recommend it. S.K. Lessly put her foot in this story. This story had me going through all ranges of emotions. I laughed and cried and my heart just broke for what Misty went though. The author is an excellent storyteller. I thought her book Ruined's portrayal of Mason James West was the bomb diggity, but Obsession 2.5 is it for me along with Shane Cooper. He's my new BBF. This book is worthy of a re-read and a re-read and another re-read.
When Shane Cooper first saw his brother's partner in Rome, he knew that Grace Michelle "Misty" King was made for him. But, he did not think that he was her type of man being that he did not resemble the men he saw her dating. He was warned off by his brother Joshua, and being that their family fell in love with Misty and their parents saw her as another daughter, he let it drop and moved on with Casey, a.k.a "Malibu Barbie." But when the opportunity came, and the timing was right, he went after what he wanted and did not stop until he broke down the wall that Misty erected around her heart.
Misty, a.k.a "The Black Widow", instantly felt that tug at her heart when she first laid eyes on Shane in Rome as well. But, she felt as though she was tainted, broken and unworthy of a man like Shane Cooper. She felt that he could do better than her. Her soul was broken from her first marriage by what she was not able to accomplish and Shane deserved a complete woman. That was why she made it a point to stay away from him. But when the situation was right, their interaction with each other was just on fyah and Misty felt her walls dropping.
Their job with serving the country in the special military ops group took its toll on all of its members, especially Misty. With her usually being the only female in the group, she had to live up to her name of Black Widow. She was excellent at her job but it was at a cost. The darkness in this last mission was just too much for her and the only thing that brought her back was Shane. Thank goodness, he got his Grace back and more. Now they have their hard-earned HEA.
Now, I'm waiting on Obsession 3.0 for Malcolm to get rid of Princess Barbie a.k.a Amanda! LOL!!! #allmeangirlsmustdie. Come on S.K. Lessly, we have a mean girl to get rid of and I can't wait.

Amazing!
I've waited two years for this follow up to Misty and Shane's story and boy, was it with it! This was a gorgeous and delicious story. It had all of my favorite elements: romance, action, a badass heroine, alpha hero with a huge heart, hot sex, suspense and close family relationships. I love the Cooper brothers! Misty also really grew I me since the first book in this series. She's a flawed character, but her demons and how she deals with them is so relatable. Her walls literally fall when Shane passionately and selflessly just loves her. I just totally dug their story. You will too and oh! You get to catch up with the Josh and Sweets too! Highly recommended!

Drama and action
Misty and Shane belong together as they are the peace and calmness to the storms brewing inside and around them. This story is filled with twists and turns and drama and action. But it's also displays love and affection between lovers, siblings, family, and friends. I love how fierce Misty loves and protects and so glad that she let Shane in all the way to do that for her. I can't wait to hear from Malcolm.

Shane!!
Oh my goodness my emotions my emotions! Shane is the truth!! I love love him & Misty together it was action and love and danger and hot sex. Intrigue and excitement and as usual S. K get you in your feelings I love Shane & Misty they ride hard for each other. It was nice seeing Josh and I thought Sweets was up to her usual mess but she got it together lol and my Papa Bear Malcom was a trip lol . Loved it.

The King's and The Cooper's are not one to play with
Okay so I stumble on this book, while browsing for something else, and Am I Glad that I did.
I haven't read the previous books before this one and I'm kind of sad that I haven't. But plan to look into it as soon as I'm done post this review.
I absolutely love Misty aka Grace ( Shane likes to call her by her first name.) She has such a lovely mouth on her that I cannot help but enjoy. I love when she rips into Amanda and Shane Ex girlfriend ( I cannot remember her name for the life of me. )
I love how dangerous she is and that Shane not only loves and appreciates her. But he is not scared or feels less of a man with how destructive she is. Or how Bad ass she is as a woman/person.
I found myself, slapping myself in the head a couple of times, while reading parts that I consider embarrassing. I love the fact that Shane makes her see how much she loves him, and how he will go over and beyond for her. I love the fact that he confronts her and makes her realize her mistakes, and the fact that she cannot always run from there problems. He calls her on her BS, but at the same time stand by her, and ALWAYS have her back.
Now Shane is one hot, panties dropping, kind of man. And boy what a man he is. He really worships the floor that Misty walks on. The type of love and devotion he shows/gives her is one that you cannot help but want in your own life. And the sex between them are burning up the sheets and hot as hell.
I love how he is truly an Alpha Male, but at the same time he knows when to back down and pick his fight. He and Misty really belong with one another, and that something no one can deny, not even Misty herself.
The chemistry between these two are literaly jumping off the pages at you.
I am excited about reading the oldest brother Malcolm book. I really want to know if he and Amanda stay together. I really hope they don't I want him to get with Isabella ( I believe that her name.)
I cannot wait for his book, and if his book is truly out I might just go straight into reading his book before back tracking to the beginning.
I am just going to end this review with, them Cooper Boys are not ones you want to play with. But is one I wouldn't mind having in my own life.

Loved it
What I loved the most is how much of a badass Misty is. It’s so rare in the genre to have a strong heroine. I also love how even with her children she still works in some shape or form. However hard it is she stays on
mission (leaving Shane bleeding out) and loves fiercely. I also liked that the author also showed her softer sides and her insecurities. She’s not a robot and I guess that’s what makes her different from the people she’s hunting. She’s supposed to be close to Josh so I’m not sure I liked her not telling him about Shane or her issues after Brazil but I guess, with him being his brother and them not really being the share your emotions types it made sense. I liked how the author made a real effort to depict battle scenes making them realistic. She also showed their lives outside of work, although it was limited as far as friends were concerned. I missed Malcom lot. Even before he was shot he wasn’t really present and he was inconspicuous afterwards. I’m guessing he married Izabella but I guess we will found out in the next book. At times it felt like they didn’t share information quickly enough, for instance Noah mentioned Brazil a while back so that should have been a clue before the attack. As for Emily, Misty was right she should have eliminated her in that lobby saving them a lot of grief. Given how great they are at their job, I’m surprised she wasn’t tagged as soon as she left their office. I have to say the person, I was really disappointed with was Kenya. Her behavior was so silly it was unreal. Even if Josh can be extreme but to go on her own, without backup while not even being a operative was suicidal. She compounded her mistake by lying and not sharing information. Her ridiculous scene at that meeting with Emily was nonsensical on so many levels. She put herself in harms way again, she then had a jealous fit at the most inappropriate time when she’s actually the one lying and worst she shows her naivety by somehow believing Emily would help. Her freaking out at the office showed how unprepared she is to deal with the violence (loosing her gun, really?). At the end I didn’t understand why Malcom couldn’t adopt the kid himself. I hope we will find out in book 3. As an aside, although it’s a series, being reminded of basic info like what they look like and a bit of background such as how they met and their past work experiences would have been useful given when the last book was published.

Long overdue
It was a roller coaster of emotions, it was funny, it was heartbreaking. It would be nice to read about female leads that are regular brown girls. Brown girls with brown eyes that are a size 12 with regular sized breast are attractive too. Just want to see our society come full circle in seeing all different versions of us represented on all fronts as beautiful. Not just, light skinned, light eyes, etc America's version of "other beautiful" Please give us the next installment soon, the wait for all those years is cruel

Oh my god, this was a beast of a story
All I can say was excellence was worth waiting for!
I'm in awe of S.K. Lessly's latest edition of the Obsession series, this is a story on the second eldest Cooper brothers - Shane, it's a beast of a story, I had so much emotions when reading the book, I loved EVERYTHING about this story...Misty is....I can't even explain how I loved Misty and Shane, wow, I'm speechless.
I highly recommend reading this book I could not put it down, I'm going to read this again because it was just that good!

Wow
Adrenaline rushing...thrilling sequel with all the main characters pov...Shane,Josh,Misty,Malcom,Sweets aka Kenya and a host of other characters...more especially Amanda....that evil cow is slimy and conniving as ever...Shane and Misty story is mostly covered and its hot and sexy...Misty is a trained professional assassin and if you have her sights on you...you're dead...

WOW just wow a 5 Star plus should be an award winning and made into a movie book. I've been in LOVE and Obsessed with Shane and Misty since Obsession 2. What a way to wrap up their love story. Action packed from beginning to end. Even their fights were passionate Mr. and Mrs. Smith have nothing on Misty and Shane. Also Shane's "talks" with Josh were just as fierce as his love for his little brother. The hot and steamy love scenes between Shane and Misty only got hotter and obviously louder LOL. Great book I could go on and on, but let me just say read the books. I'm looking forward to Malcom's book and more about Sweets, Josh, Misty, Shane and their children

Overall this was a great read and action pact. Now this is what I expected of Obsession Too. Misty showed us Boss in this book! I can only hope Malcom's book is just as good and he gets ride of "Princess Barbie."
Once again, Sweets pissed me off, hopefully she has learned her lesson of what happens when she keeps things from Josh. It is obvious she didn't learn the first time, maybe second time will be the charm.

Love these Cooper men.
Shane and Misty's story was all that and then some. Action packed and filled with all the stuff that makes us LOVE S. K. Lessly's work. Shane and Misty's story was all that and then some. Action packed and filled with all the stuff that makes us LOVE S. K. Lessly's work. Absolutely Enjoyable
WOW! What a series it will easily steal your heart. It's a powerful combination of secrets and excitement that's so full suspense and romance plus vengeance. It's a unique series! With stories that will bring a smile to your face with lots of emotions. The characters are awesome and their vengeance burns up the pages with it's chemistry. There are plenty feisty women who is so independent and some are not but it makes you cheer her on anyway. This series is a pleasurable experience that you will keep you on the edge of your seat. The stories are such a number of suspenseful vengeful and binge worthy that's great to read. Each one will make you turn every page until the end. I really enjoyed these characters they are so amazing and great together. When you add in the drama along with tons of emotions plus some intriguing twists and turns then you have a story that's full of feelings and so awesome. The couples aren't searching for mates, but their chemistry is so awesome that it turns into a great love. Even though some of the couples are estranged and some are not. but their bonds are still strong with each other. These relationships are loads of romance and heartache that all works out for good! Even the secondary characters are so extraordinary that it takes such imagination to make each book a beautiful story to read. This story is truly delightful and amazing with it's being violence and suspenseful in nature I Highly Recommend Reading it. This is a five stars and a awesome series that I know I will read over and over again!

Action From Start To Finish, No Putting It Down!!!
Just could not put this one down. No matter how many times I tried to walk away and give my eyes a rest. It did not happen. How can this story have so much HEA, that is just so unreal. I reread the part about when Shane whispered in Misty ear over and over again. Than I read it to my husband and asked him what he thought. Misty is an Amazing Badass Woman that goes for it all to protect her family. Shane, what can you say he is the Ultimate Alpha Male. Him family and Team comes first no matter what. Misty have some many secrets that she just needs to open up about. Shane is their to listen and help. She just needs to trust him.
I love how all the characters from the first two book are part of this one as well.
Josh and Sweets I was so happy to see in this one as well. Josh is just what Sweets needs to keep her whole. They are the best together. I was very please with the whole series for this one. I read all three books back to back. I got a updated about the third book and I liked the blurb about it, so I found the first two. I have read other books that I loved by S. K. Lessly.
So now I am ready for Malcolm’s Story. I have so any question about his story. Like who is he married to? What happen with the CIA lady that he had the hots for lol ?

Love Those Alpha Males
This series is Awesome. Ther is something for everyone. I enjoy the strong and independent women and ll the Cooper men are to die for.
Misty and Shane's story is my favorite so far. Misty is such a Bad A** but at the same time so vulnerable. I love the fact they both come from strong and loving parents.
This particular story was exciting, suspenseful and sexy as all get out.
The awful situations they went through nd the things endured ws stomach churning.
I'm looking forward to finding out what is going on with Malcolm and that hateful Amanda. And why is Casey, Shane's Ex still in the picture. Will the CIA Analyst, Isabella still be a factor especially for Malcolm?
Love the story and I'm anxiously awaiting Book 3.
OBTW, just as a point of correction, well two points: 1) there was mention of a "Navy Sargent. The Navy Enlisted ranks are Seaman, Petty Officer and Chief, No Sargents. 2) there was a discussion of security procedures and I think you meant to have "Retinal Scan" but instead it said "Rectal Scan;" that one had me chuckling for a while.

Loved Misty and Shane!
I didn't too much care for Sweets and Josh's book but the 2nd and 2.5 books were awesome!!!! I really loved Shane and Misty together because both of them were crazy. I loved the author told us their back stories from their initial meeting. I love how protective Misty is about the Coppers and protective they are about her. I still don't like Sweets, but I liked the dynamics of Josh and Misty relationship and how he stood up to his brother regarding Misty. The only thing I didn't !like about this book was the constant back and forth between the present and the past. For example, when Sweets went into labor why wasn't the whole story just told then? Why skip over it and then go back in the past to tell what happened, but this was still a great book. This author is amazing and every book she releases is amazing. I recommend everyone read all of her books, you won't be disappointed!

I gave this book a 5 stars really good read!
This book is good the whole series is good . S.K. Lessly girl you did your thang. Shane is a woman's dream man hot, and a true alpha male. Misty is a true Bad ass and love to be in control. Shane and Misty love story was burning hot like feel the sizzle. Shane brought misty to realize her true feelings for him and open her heart up for love again. Shane was tried keeping his distance from Misty he was obsessed with her since they first met in Rome. He did not disappoint when he went after what he wanted his woman ( Misty) Misty had the same obsession of Shane but was afraid to put in out in the open. She also knew Shane wanted a family and she thought she couldn't give him that cause she couldn't bare kids if she and Shane got in a relationship. But Being the Alpha Shane was he wasn't having it . It feel with alot of drama . It's a must read.

Following up on the events of Obession Too, Kenya Cooper has found herself in quite the situation, and the only one who can help her is Misty King. But, when a deranged assassin comes knocking at their doors, can either woman keep it together? Or even, keep those Cooper brothers?
I can’t remember if I had honestly liked Kenya in that first Obsession book, but I was outright tired of her in these last two. I honestly expected Lessly to kill her off simply because the relationship between Kenya and Josh was becoming a little erratic.
That being said, Shane and Grace (Misty) really seemed to be the better couple, although their reunion earned at least two side eyes from me.
There is supposed to be an Obsession 3, but it hasn’t been written as yet. I like Malcolm Cooper just fine, but I don’t need a new book for him.
While I will say that this was a satisfying conclusion to the Obsession sub series, I would still only recommend this to people wanting to complete S K Lessly’s Loving An Alpha Male series. It should be noted that the Obsession books STILL don’t connect back to the rest of the series.

How does this author do it? The attention to detail. The dialog and character development. Over arching storylines and multiple characters that draw you in and keep you glued!😊 Those brothers..Shane, Malcolm & Josh...dang man..🤗 They are just too much and I sure wish I had one.
Plenty of action that will have you cheering, booing, crying, laughing and sending up a few prayers. But it doesn't always stay revved up..there are simple quiet times, with family and friends that warm your heart. Our heroes are larger than life but only when necessary. Doting parents, spouses one minute and terrifying warriors the next. Once again..I finished in one sitting and its fairly long..😊 Ok..gotta check to see if Obsession 3 is in my library. Enjoy peeps..Later..

Waiting on the next one
Ok I’m waiting on Obsession 3, I fell in love with these brother Malcom, Josh, & Shane. I really want to read Malcom story did he marry Malibu Barbie or who. Misty is a beast, this could be all about Misty and going into different countries to rescue children & adults, I would have read it. Boy this was good and when part 3 comes out I’m going to have to read the others over before I start on it that way I can feel like I’m reading a massive story from beginning to end.

We finally got Shane and Misty's story, and boy was it good. So glad the original story plot was resolved. I do think that Emily's demise should have lasted longer. She was a straight up psychopath as well as her cohorts. My opinion of Kenya hasn't changed. So naive and stupid. That argument with Josh in front of the CIA team was so childish. I'm really looking forward to Malcolm's story.

Well worth waiting for. Please don't let's have to wait so long for the next instalment. A great romantic suspense. Excellent storytelling, could not read this book fast enough, it gripped you from page one and did not let up, in fact I'm now in suspense waiting for the next thrilling instalment. I can't recommend this author's work highly enough you will not be disappointed.

What can I say about Misty and Shane? Two people who were made for each other. If ever in trouble, they are the ones to have on your side. I don’t give spoilers in reviews but I will say this......THEY ARE HAWWWWWWWT TOGETHER!! I hated to put this down to deal with life. S.k. Lessly NEVER lets us down. The story, the love, the sex......always on point! I can’t wait to read Malcom’s story! Those Cooper brothers are mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

So long
I always wondered why it took so long for you to write a book .now I know it took me so while to get into this 2.5 book of obsession because it was so long since I read the other two. But I will say it was worth the wait, bold beautiful,strong, fighting black women is awesome . I like reading about these kinds. Hopefully you will never change. Love it and I don't mind waiting in anticipation for Malcolm story I know it will be worth it.
