Hi, many thanks for your interest in my books!

I'm an independent Dutch trend explorer with a wealth of experience spanning over two decades.

With Studio Elsewhere I guide organisations and teams in integrating trends research into their work processes.

My training, research and writing style is down-to-earth, practical and a bit tongue-in-cheek.

I like to make complex information accessible to everyone.

In all of my books I share stuff that makes you go elsewhere, look elsewhere, listen elsewhere, click elsewhere, .....

My client list includes IKEA, City Football Group, Viacom, HIVOS and the Dutch government.

I'm invited as a guest lecturer at numerous universities and academies that incorporate my three-phased trend method in their study programs.

Are you ready for it? Let's start our trend journey!

Warm wishes from Amsterdam,

Aukso viduriukas – derinti abu.
❗Geriausią klausimą lydi išklausymas.

I really enjoyed this book! What I like about it is that anyone can learn from it and apply it in their everyday situations. The content is very easy to understand and the concepts are explained with examples, making it more approachable. If you already have a research background, the content will be common knowledge, but if you are looking for a starting point in the quest of asking questions, this will be your book!

Dare to Ask is a short, succinct and visually-striking book that gives us practical tips on questioning, an important life skill. These tips include how to ask questions and where to use them. (Reminds me of a module I took earlier this year called Asking Questions! 😆)

As the short length of the book compromises its depth into the subject, I wouldn’t recommend it to those who already have a basic knowledge of questioning. It feels more suited to readers who want a quick and easy fix to questioning problems (or to those who just want to admire the book’s aesthetics!).
