Ryan
I said I wouldn't be the one to fall the hardest. That's a lie. It seems those are surrounding me these days and I'm not with it. I hate them and that they're weaving their way through the future I'm trying to build with the girl that's stolen my heart.

I have plans for us and our future. She says I'll ruin her life, but I'm here to enhance it. I'll teach her how to cultivate her desires, her pleasure... Yeah, I'm going to ruin something, but it's not her life. I'm going to smoke that innocence like a fat cigar and wear a smile while doing it.

Carmen
The things that come out of Ryan's mouth are unpredictable and stunning, to say the least. Walk always? I was never going to, who am I kidding? He's like honey and I'm the silly bee that will fly through fire for a single taste. However, he has walked into my life at a pivotal time and not even I understand the walls that are crumbling. And now... I have one more secret to keep from my father.

Lies
Those secrets. She has them and her father has them and now I'm in the middle. I hate it and it's getting in the way of the one job I have. Keep her safe.

They both better get it together. Her dad can fess up and Carmen will have to stand her ground. There are bigger things going on around us and I won't lose my girl because of these simple distractions.

Will the lies be the end of us? Or will something greater than us all snatch all our promises?

OMG! Why but I love it!

OMG! If you never read anything by Blue Saffire then you don't know what you are missing! I could not put this book down this is the second best Blacks book and it's 6 of them I recommend you read them all and in order but spoiler alert this one ends in a cliffhanger!

It's not one of those cliffhangers that you be like damn they could've finished the book you know that they all intertwine and you patiently wait for next book!

I promise you will fall in love with Ryan over and over it gets deeper as you read on! I got a little frustrated with Carmen a little bit but I had to remember she is young and sheltered from life.

Blue you have done it again now hurry up with book 7!!!

Brothers Black: Ryan..Wow!

This latest book is an incredible intricately woven story in the Brothers Black Series. Ryan the youngest son in the Black family falls hard for Carmen. But, a secret agenda may derail their relationship. Carmen has a secret of her own that blows Ryan's mind when it is revealed. The dilemma we see, Ryan fighting to honor his word to Kiyoshi that also involves his family business is well written. The weaving and looping of Blue Saffires books holds your attention drawing you in with its familiarity with our beloved characters and interconnected stories. This bonds you to the storylines and characters. You eagerly anticipate more. A takeover has put a chain of events in motion. Edge of your seat moments. A partial reveal of a future sight. Carmens take down of enemies Samurai style. Cassie Blacks take no prisoners when under attack. Paloma running up Kiyoshis back to destroy attackers. In the Blue Saffire style, capable, smart, strong women stand beside their men to deal with threats and handle whatever comes. Surprises on many fronts, Johnathan and Ronis situation.... where does Misha fit in...A jaw dropping cliff hanger takes you to the conclusion of this sexy, fantastic book. This is one you do not want to miss. Excitedly waiting for book 7.

I love Ryan & Carmen together. They are so cute. Their connection & Ryan's love for Carmen is just beautiful - just like I expected he puts it down in the bedroom. His SEXY ass! Ryan's jokes were on point - "You look like Marvin the Martian" - I swear, I hollered! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Even though Blue warned us, I still hate cliffhangers. Come on next installment.

We were warned about the cliffhanger

But I still hate cliffhangers. I had a hard time getting into this 6th installment of the Brothers Black series. To me, the plot did not take off and kept my interest until the very end. I enjoyed reading about Carmen's father Kiyoshi telling about his childhood and how he got into the business. I also enjoyed reading about Paloma telling her daughter Carmen about how she and her father met and how and why he started training her. I love the relationship that mother and daughter have with each other. Cassidy Black was her usual self talking about her nasty sons. She tickles me.

In this book, we see Carmen scared to death to confront her father about what she wants in her life and at the same time we see her father coming to the realization that he can not shelter and protect her any longer. Even though He and Paloma trained her to protect herself, she really needed to understand why.

I did not feel Carmen and Ryan's connection like I did with the other brothers when they were pursuing their wives. There was just something not there. Ryan as sweet and funny and was tormented about keeping Carmen in the dark. Getting the Alliance off the ground was taking its toll on everyone in the Black and Nash families. But it seems as though all of the Cali women have been well trained and can hold their own almost like Val and her crew. All they need now is for Val to train them in the "slow burn" and "morte nera" and they won't be stoppable.

Its all coming together

Carmen and Ryan’ journey was very, very interesting. I love how all the family ties it together.Ryan- no words! I think he might be my favorite Black, maybe they are all so much. Enjoyed the ride, can’t wait for the conclusion. Johnathan and Roni better make it good. Hope we see the entire gang in the next one from the Briggs to the Donati’s to Nick and everyone else.

Another Hit!!

I'm also sorry to see this series end. But I have to admit with my "old" brain it's kindda hard for me to keep up with all the interchangeable books and characters but I still read all of them 😁😁. Please keep great movie stories coming

Ryan

I knew Ryan and Carmen's story would be worth the wait. They are so cute together. And that Carmen is a a bad girl. It's always the quiet ones. Even though Blue was gracious enough to warn us of the cliffhanger I still wasn't ready. The " ending" left me shook. I can't wait to see what else she has in store for us.

Ha! Ryan really is the joker out of all the brothers. He was giving one-liners and being silly throughout the entire book and I was here for it. Last book I read before this one had no heat at all, but Lord, did Blue Saffire's Brothers Black #6 about Ryan & Carmen's love story more than make up for that! Jesus, these two went at it from basically the beginning of the book until the end. The thing that I found a bit odd though was that for such a young woman (just turned 20) and also a virgin (until she meets Ryan), she's pretty adventurous, pretty quickly and Ryan, well he's only supposed to be 25, and he's doing some stuff that I'd more expect from a man of at least in his 30s. It just seemed that they were definitely older than their years in a lot of ways..except one. Carmen's relationship with her dad. She is young, so her basically following his orders or being afraid to tell him she's dating, I kind of get, but it didn't make it less annoying of an aspect of the story lol Anyway, there's lots of over-the-top drama and action in this book to go with all the sex scenes so the author does break it up, BUT leaves us with a good old-fashioned cliffhanger. Ugghhhh! Stay tuned for Johnathan and Roni's story in Book 6!

Cliffhanger

While good, I could not give this book more than two stars bc it ended in a cliffhanger. Had I known that I would have waited until book seven was released before purchasing this book. Ms. Blue is one of my favorite authors but this was not cool. Authors should out out notices before doing that. I dnt read cliffhangers and I dnt follow authors once I realize they specialize in writing cliffhangers. I can't even review this book bc I'm upset. I purchase and pre-order this authors books. When I borrow one of her books I then turn around and purchase the already read book to read again. However, if this becomes a habit of this authors. I will have to stop following her and stop purchasing her books. Fans, especially those who follow series, do not wait months or even a year or more, to have the anticipated book end in a cliffhanger. This was not cool and the readers should have been warned prior to making our purchase that this was a cliffhanger. Had I known that I would not have purchased this book. So, my review is this, wait until book seven is released before purchasing or borrowing this book.

I HATE CLIFFHANGERS!!!!

First of all. These Brother Black series started out a straight up 5 stars. With Wyatt the Heartbreaker. It had everything an erotic novel needed. From Love, commitment to the best sex ever. Blue Saffire was " On Fire!" But then each book in the Brothers Black series got less and less interesting. To the point of where this one of Ryan and Camens story was not so much an erotica novel ,but a Thriller novel with some raunchy sex tied in, that had to be left with " A CLIFFHANGER" just to force us to read the last book in the series, because this one was so bad there was no way I was reading the next one and I guess the author must have figured that out. So she put this little trick of a cliffhanger in there. Man, Blue Saffire you really had something going with these sexy Black Brothers. I wished you could have kept this Alliance crap out of the picture. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone when I say that it has no meaningful place in erotica novels! And neither does SUPRISE cliffhangers! (because no other previous brother black books had cliffhanger endings) You were so wrong for that!

What the fudge!!!

Not trying to give too much away bout really ,I think I may have had a small heart attack as I'm sitting on edge at the hospital scene.I love how Ryan loves Carmen even tho I wanted to slap the taste from her mouth with his she handled the situation with her dad .Ryan may be the baby but he is just as deadly if not more than his bothers and the bond that they have is beautiful. Please don't let me get started on cassie ,her kids take so much after her it's isn't even funny .With John been the last black to get a book it's bitter sweet but I truly hate for it to end even tho with the alliance I know that they will pop up somewhere again .I can't wait to see the team Ryan and Carmen make when she comes into her own they may just be the next gap and uri. As always this was a fantastic book and the whole series is Phenomenal .Do yourself a favor and check out the series and any other book Ms.Saffire write you want regret it !!

OMG a Cliffhanger

Okay, now that I've given that away, let me say, Wow, I think its I'd one of my favorites out of this series.
I wasn't sure how seriously I'd like Ryan and not were my eyes opened. I loved Ryan and Carmen. Their story was so contemporary and fast paced. I loved the fact that why little Carmen had been trained to be a beast and she didn't know it. I also love the fact that she, like the other women had so much power over her guy.
You knew this story was going to take you on a whirlwind just based on Ryan and Carmen's pedigree. I love Kyoshi and Palin's as well. Especially, Paloma, because she comes off as this supportive Mom and Wife, but so deadly.
Love this series and Loved this book. Will Ryan and Carmen really suffer a tragedy? Where is the Baby? I'm so anxious.
I'm not going to give away much more, but not can't wait for Jonathan and Roni's story. Also what's up with Mish a and Torque. Really waiting impatiently.

I held off reading this book as long as I could knowing that it was a cliffhanger, but come on! I already loved Ryan from previous books in this series. Ryan the baby of 7 boys was the type to make your brothers want to lock you up in a dark room by yourself. Thank goodness that he is Cassy Black's baby boy. Ryan will have you laughing out loud and shaking your head in disbelief at the things that come out of his mouth. But he is no joke when it comes to his family or the woman he loves. The fight scenes are incredibly written you can visualize them as they are happening. I can't wait for book 7 Jonathan's book and all the future books as the children grow up and form their own relationships. Don't let the fact that it is a cliffhanger keep you from reading this book as soon as possible. It's a
5 star read

Ryan and Carmen weren’t my favorite of the couples, so much so I considered not reading their story. However, unlike but somewhat similar to the others- this was more of a compilation of everyone’s POV. It did focus on the couple primarily, but there were so much more going on.

That extra layer- especially in regards to John and Roni made this go from a 2 star read to a 3. I’m so curious about how this will end. And oddly and shockingly enough- I’m considering reading more about the characters who have been introduced throughout the series- like Nick and Sephora, LaSalle and all the others. I noticed at the end of this book- the author has a chronological list to help with the order to read the book. Interesting, book 3 of this series is not on that list🤷🏾‍♀️.

Anywho- I’m almost to the finish line of the Black family saga.

Heart Stopping Good

I am so indecisive now. I don't know who my favorite is any more. I loved this book just as much as I have the rest of them. It amazes me how Blue Saffire's characters are all intertwined and connected in some kind of way. I love Ryan, he just say anything and loves to get under everyone's skin. But what he don't play about is Carmen. I hate how she couldn't be open and honest with her dad and him her although he was trying to protect her from that world. I love Cassie Black, she is probably my favorite character because she's always there for her boys and don't mind cussing them out either. I hope Carmen can hold on till book seven cause I am barely. I can't wait til Jon's story. Him and Roni got me so intrigued.💕💕

Ryan was my favorite brother. I loved his unfiltered mouth. He was hilarious. Carmen never stood a chance at getting rid of him. I enjoyed the different cultures presented in the story. Actually all of the stories presented a myriad of cultural representation which is awesome. I enjoyed the peeks at the couples from previous books that I've grown attached to. I have to say, my all time favorite character in each of these books is mama Cassie. She is a no-nonsense, gun-toting, kick ass mama that doesn't play when it comes to her family. The last few chapters had me glued to the book and I found myself trying to swipe for more pages in a panic for more pages at the end. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

OK

I don't see all the hate the readers had with Carmen. I didn't find her to be whiny, as a matter of fact, she acted her age but was a realist in her situation. I also loved that she was able to hold her own. Ryan, is a jokester through and through. I didn't really see the appeal or felt the connection between Ryan and Carmen...HOWEVER, they worked at the same time.

This one was a bit slow and sort of a slow slugging burn....but it's a plot device that pulls you in. I'm glad I waited until Blue finished the series because the way she ended this one had me in my feelings...in the worst way. While it's not my favorite out the bunch (Toby hands down takes the throne ;) see what I did there). I'm actually looking forward to reading Jonathan's story.

Yeah This Is awesome!

This was one heck of a ride with Ryan and Carmen. The writer somehow promises that this story is going to be something totally different. We get to see Ryan find his one and fall completely in love. The building of this couple is done so completely, you get to see the confidence and the uncertainty. I also like the fact that the rose colored glasses come off and we get to see the ladies come into their own and boy do the kick butt!! The fact that we get to see old friends and make new ones ,the story comes full circle. The writing is just stellar and like always you are drawn in so deep you don't want out. If you have started the journey with the Black Family then you must ride it to the end.

Devyn Thoughts:

have been looking forward to Ryan’s book since Toby’s book was release. In the previous books Blue would give you little snippets of Ryan’s and Carmen’s story then cut you off like a crackhead needing his next fix (not cool Blue)! But I digress, Blue hit this book out of the park. I love the relationship between Ryan and Carmen. There so adorable. When I first started the series I thought Braxton was the craziest Brother (please read his story if you haven’t yet…tears will be shed) but now I will give the crown to Ryan. Ryan will have you laughing, crying and wanting to pull your hair out. I don’t want to give too much away but the last 5 Chapters had me all in my feelings. All hell breaks loose for the Blacks: I was screaming at my Kindle, re-reading certain passages to make sure I didn’t miss a single word and finally it happened. I finished the last page hoping it was a mistake. I thought there was something wrong with my Kindle because the next page would not turn….then all hope was lost when I realized there was a cliffhanger. NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Blue you took me on an amazing journey and I can’t wait for Johnathan’s Book.

More thought from the book:
Toby and Kamara (She was the weakest link, but no more!)
The twins (they need their own book. LOL Noah has trained them well)
Kiyoshi and Paloma (Paloma is just that Boss Bitch! I need her story)
Calu and Bekia (Squad Goals)
Cass (Another Boss Bitch. Don’t F**k with her family)
Johnathan and Romi (Those two have a story to tell…Freaky Asses)
Remi and Ramses (I’m drooling just thinking about them)

Ryan Was No Joke!

Ryan handle his business like a true alpha. Ryan always knew that Carmen would be his, I love how he went about trying to show her each and every day how much she meant to him. I love the interactions of Carmen‘s parents throughout the book, right along with the entire Black clan. I loved the fact that OLD characters made an appearance in this book.

Blue Saffire, you have dropped more blues clues and this book in anticipation of book sevens climactic conclusion.
BRAVO, BRAVO BLUE, you truly are a genius when it comes to pinning your craft as a amazing Author.

Action packed and sexy

Just when I was thinking omg this seems typical I swear the soul of Blue Saffire rose from the pages, slapped me and said watch this. How she weaves all of these characters together is simply amazing. I thought the story was about Ryan and Carmen and it was but it was also about family and respect. I loved how she wove the Japanese culture into the story. I loved the bad ass women in the story as they were no shrinking violets. I loved everything about this story. It was shocking, sexy, action packed and everything you love about the Black Brothers. You should read this book!

What can I say a long time coming but you still number one in my books

You did it again, not being hard but I have read a lot of books lot of adventure, thrillers, mystery, no one has come close to you ,your books got me up half the night, reading. And the black brothers along with the alliance team , I don't know if you can top these series. Then again maybe you will, I Will be here to find out especially since Mr LaSalle clairvoyant son has concerns toward Ryan's family . Ready for the cliff hangers to be answered did Carmen make it . Hope so. Ryan deserves his happiness.

Loved BOTH Carmen and Ryan!

They did say Ryan would be the one to fall hard. At first going by what I've come to know of him in past books I didn't believe he would. Well Ms. Blue you made a believer out of me REAL QUICK. These two couldn't stop what was happening so fast even if they wanted too. I am so hype right now the adrenaline rush that ended the sixth book on The Blacks got me ready to tear some @$%& up. Will be looking forward to see how my absolute favorite author brings this series to an end. I know it will be worth every moment we waited for it.

Love and Hate

Love everything related to the Black Family! They are always there for each other. Their spouses are there for them and each other. When new loved ones join, they become family too. But when you leave that sort of cliffhanger, I hate I didn't wait for the second book to be released before reading this one. 😳 Ryan and Nene are the cutest couple. She got on my nerves, but grew on me by the end. Hopefully she will continue growing on me in the next installment..😉
