Life is not always what Dorian Hart expected. Dorian collects bad news like the headlines on a news feed. Breaking News. Or the lead story in the morning papers.
Just when Dorian thinks his life will be easy, he’s found love, and he can handle whatever comes his way, Jeremy has another secret he’s keeping. Can Dorian handled what Jeremy is getting ready to reveal? Will Dorian say this is enough? ‘I’m outer here.’
Sky McCoy ends the “Fascination” series with lots of drama in Mean It (2020). I drank that tea and asked for more (laugh). Holy sugar McCoy brought it. I am looking at the synopsis here and thinking McCoy is a leading misleading here because let me tell you - it is NOT Jeremy with the secrets. (laugh). This is the only spoiler you will get from me. (laugh).
McCoy gives every character drama and make yourself some popcorn because it is good - especially if you have not read any of the other series. I had no clue of the surprises that kept coming. It was like whiplash at times. It was awesome!
There was only one storyline that I thought was going to go, one that ended up going in a completely different direction and I am still confused by it, but that might just be me.
McCoy also brings the heat in Mean It. Good times rainbows - good times were had by many (laugh).
McCoy ends the series with satisfaction for everyone - including me.
I received an ARC of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.
It has taken three books, but finally Jeremy and Dorian have resolved their personal issues and faced all their fears. I thought the first two books took me on quite a ride for them to get together and I thought I knew all the secrets they were hiding from each other but boy was I wrong! Buckle up because this ride is even wilder. Jeremy's family has more secrets to deal with, Parker the manny is acting awfully possessive, Dorian's health issue is resolved but he nearly loses Jeremy when he won't tell him about it, Jack has quite a major surprise to reveal and that secret also solves the mystery of who has been terrorising Max and Jami. You will want to slap both Jeremy and Dorian quite a few times in this book, but you will also be so hooked on the story you'll stay to the end to see how it all turns out. Cannot wait to get Jack's full story next.
This is the final book for Dorian and Jeremy and I am sad to end! I fell in love with these two and I am so glad that they both got the HEA they both wanted. There were several times where I was thinking "Not again!" and "Dang!" In this book we also got to know more about Jeremy's brothers and more about Jack and his history, which I loved. Dorian and Jeremy had learned so many things in the previous books but when the pressure is on, these two tend to continue to make mistakes but no one is perfect but they are perfect for each other. I loved all three books and I highly recommend them. I can't wait to see what Sky brings to the table next!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Dorian is screwing up his life, letting his ex take over his apartment, not telling Jeremy about the biopsy. Lack of communication has broke them up before but Dorian finds it so easy to not rock the boat. Jeremy is just confused. His man seems to be shutting him out. His nanny is sowing seeds of discontent, his brothers are being pains, and all he wants is the man he loves.
These guys are annoying as hell. And yes....they ALL still need to be slapped.
Nice end to the story. Good characters development throughout, (even the brothers and Ex from hell). The only thing missing was the Ex being tossed out on his behind. That would of been perfect.
I am so glad for Jeremy and Dorian. They get their HEA. I hope you have books coming about the other Westbrook men. Looking forward to Jack and Austin’s story. Thanks for the great distraction during the covid 19 epidemic.
I've read all 3 books and I really loved the story between Dorian and Jeremy (and the storyline between Jack and Austin was becoming so interesting too), from the meeting at the auction, to developing a romantic relationship.
What a finish to a great set of books. There is do much packed into these books you will be exhausted by the end in a good way. The HEA ending if ling in coming but they both get there in the end.
