Our church small group just completed this book study and shared discussion over the material in rooted. It was a great resource to grow in our faith and in fellowship with others. It will challenge you to examine your faith and participate in growing and becoming a resource for the world around you. Well done collaborators for this book and project. This is not a bad devotional for people who are fresh in the faith. However, it leans pretty heavy on reformed theology. I understand what they are trying to accomplish, but I would have done it differently. It is not focused on the person of Jesus enough for me. It did foster decent discussion in our group, which is the goal in small group material!

I loved a lot that this book did. The focus on the discipleship and need for maturity of all believers was awesome. My biggest complaint is that while we went through the Spanish edition with our Mexican church, a lot of the content presented was specific to affluent people from the U.S.
