Poignant, warm and unpredictable, Stargazing is the story of three women who are connected by one man. All three women are carrying secrets that they've kept deeply hidden, secrets that might even threaten a life...
A beautifully woven tale! A thoroughly enjoyable, gripping and expertly paced story with well-developed characters, dramatic twists and turns along the way and ultimately heartwarming. After reading the author's excellent first book 'A Perfect Home', I needed an audiobook and this didn't disappoint. Will definitely be choosing more from this Author.
I don’t understand all the reviews saying this book is heart warming and poignant. All I saw was selfish manipulative people all keeping secrets from each other and trying to get what they want. Even the gentle Nesta wasn’t above a little deception. The only character above reproach was Arlow, but he kept showing up in a very suspicious way, sometimes very fortuitously.
Beautiful book for holiday! I got this one from a friend who said it was a nice easy read with some twists and a but more to it than usual. She was right! Absolutely recommend this book for very hot summer days at the pool or beach.
I picked this book up for £1 in a local shop, wow well worth the money, this is such a lovely book to read. Never read anything from this author but will have a look at some of her other books :-)
Nesta and Daniel are celebrating their long marriage with their children. Seren, the yougest who has not yet flown the nest even though she is married and widowed and a mother wants to make it perfect for her parents. Their love story has been her fairy tale. But life is not bed of roses, and people change. Daniel needs to move on to Francesca.
Its a story with many layers of past and future intercepting. Seren's teenage love returning to rescue her film like. Frankie's past coming to haunt her again, Nesta learning to put herself first.
But though the core story remains good and the peripheral characters are villainous enough to be unbelievable.
I loved Kate's previous novels and this one did not disappoint me either. A tale of family and infidelity, tragedy and secrets. I greatly enjoyed it and the characters were very real to me. Definitely worth a read if you enjoyed Heartstones and A perfect home.
this should be a 4.5 out of 5. I really enjoyed this family saga/love story/thriller, it wasn't what I was expecting at all it was so much better! Full review to appear on Amazon.co.uk.
