No matter who the enemy is, you can only be pushed around for so long. Eventually, you just have to take a stand and fight.
Humanity has been pushed to the brink of extinction, hunted from one end of the galaxy to the other. With nowhere else to turn, Jack and Fleet Marines must take a stand. Will Jack and Same be able to save the day or will this literally be humanity’s last stand?
Last Stand is the final book in the Jack Forge, Lost Marine series. If you like fast-paced military science fiction, you will love watching Jack fight for the freedom of all.
James David Victor is the pen name used by science fiction and fantasy author David J. VanBergen Jr. for co-authored projects. It is his way of sharing more stories with you than he could write by himself.

Somehow all the action just did not really mesh to provide a realistic sense of being possible. A lot was left hanging. Not my idea of a successful ending; it just left me feeling lonely for Jack.
This is the concluding book in the Jack Forge, Lost Marine saga and takes about three hours. I had an ARC from BookSprout and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
The Skalidions have come in force to get the humans for their queen. Scorpio has joined the battle with the rest of the Fleet against the Skalidions. James David Victor describes his battle scenes with precision and detail. He captures your attention to see what will happen next. Read this book for the final episode of Lost Marines which will entertain you. Happy reading! 😊
