Both Sosa and Gauge’s worst fears have come to fruition. In the second installment of the Lawlessly in Love series, the two face the most combative circumstances that may prove that their co-existence is impossible. Sosa, under the influence of possibly losing his freedom indefinitely, makes a split decision to leave his expecting girlfriend behind as he flees the city after finding out some less than commendable information on whom he’d let into his bed, heart, and bank accounts. On the night of the raid at his suburban home, Sosa discovers the leading detective on his case is none other than Destiny Shaw, the mother of Gauge Morrison. No amount of time or experience in the streets could’ve prepared him for the shattering of his heart. It was loud. It was boisterous. It was obnoxious. It was undeniable. It was life-altering. It’s exactly what leads him into his bedroom and encourages him to aim the loaded glock in the center of Gauge’s forehead. Discover the statute of limitations on love so divine yet so lawless as two broken hearts fight for revival.
I was going to do a review after book three on all books but after reading this each of them deserve there own. This was a waste of my time! Nothing important happened in this book. The author used exerts from the first book in this book. I hated the childish back and forth about nothing! We never saw the development of Gauge and Destiny’s relationship. If you want to change this book to something worth reading. You should have had Sosa drag Gauge with him and use her as ransom for his freedom. His discovery of the pregnancy while they’re away and her regaining his trust again. Finding out about Brielle and Cayman, forgiving him. Them recommitting falling in love all over again. Book three will still be the same (I haven’t read it yet, I’m assuming) of getting Sosa out of prison because Destiny still fooled them. But what do I know!
This book picks right back up from part 1. This was one emotional rollercoaster between Sosa and G making you wonder will these two ever be together again. Sosa was so against falling in love that he thought pushing G away was the right thing to do. I loved G stubbornness and tenacity. She refused to give up on Sosa and proved it in many ways. I'm rooting for these two but after that last revelation im not sure how G is going move forward.
Black Love is a powerful thing with all that has happened between the two characters they’re love was amazingly strong and that what soul ties bind them together he was there for the birth of their daughter to witness it was incredible until the police came and she lost consciousness
I found myself so angry 😠 and over Sosa. I just ain't made up like G. I just couldn't continue to live throughout the struggles. I would have died from longing. This was a good part two for the series.
Mercy mercy me! Like why did you do this to Sosa and Gauge they were in shambles basically the whole book and soon as they got it together.😥😥 I just can't please part 3 be good to me!
