A very interesting love story mixed with Day-to-Day life stories and what the human willpower can do. I really love the story though there were some topographical errors and it is voluminous; that apart it is very interesting and if it is yet to be on motion picture I hope it will in the near future ...I give this 4star
Love this book, have read it many times since first published. A good, old fashioned romance. have always thought someone should film it - or maybe the Ambitions saga would be best!
First book I ever read of Audrey Howard's and the storyline was captivating...I have now read all of her books each one is as good as the last..loads of histrory throughout thes books of coal mining, cotton mills etc in the 1800's
I savoured this book! One of my favorites! I read this about 15 years ago and didn't realize how much I had forgotten. The description is so detailed and I enjoyed this book a lot. Not one to be read fast. Make it last and enjoy it!
