Well, this didn't end the way I thought it would and I'ma lil pissed off about it. 😡😡😡😡 But, the ending did say "The End.....for now" so, I'm hopeful we'll get an update on this couple. 🙏🏾🙏🏾

What a great story! Ugh, one-night affairs are so much fun and a tease. The level of detail was so high that I felt like I was living through the story with the characters. Because of the long mental dialogue and thoughts, the experience felt lengthy.

What would you do if you found love in one night with a stranger??
"Heaven and Adonis" were both desperately in need of an escape from their real lives. Heaven had recently dodged a bullet from a bad relationship, but was left heartbroken and her confidence was shaken. Adonis was extremely successful and was tired of the ingenuity he often encountered. He longed to just be himself. One magical night together in anonymity where they left all their reservations at the door changed both of them. The chemistry was off the charts between these two and it made it hard for Adonis not to want more. However, Heaven was guarding her heart with armor and wanted to remain focused only for one night.
This was a really good story. I loved the descriptive words that had you locked in; like vividly being able to picture it. However, it was counter productive to have bad editing. There were misspelled words sprinkled throughout that distracted from the story. I did enjoy it overall.

Wow, what a story. The story was very intriguing and the storyline was extra tight, and this couple, whew ! they had a chemistry that was too hot to the touch. I hope they work it out.

Really enjoyed this story.
I enjoyed the premise of this story a lot.
This was my first read from this author and now I'm going to binge her catalog and catch up. I hope somewhere there is an ending to this story.

I don't know if it's just me, but lengthy monologues just make the story lose meaning (especially when it's the romance genre). Like you end up forgetting what they were even talking about in the first place. It's a shame it wasn't my cuppa tea. Dialogues would have enticed me into a better rating. But we were starved of them.

This was so cute and I wanted more! I know I get more in the Midas Touch story but this initial meetup was just so perfect. Their chemistry was off the charts and he allowed himself to be vulnerable with her.

What happens when you give in to scalleywag and risky behavior, you take him to Red Lobster, lol jk.
Heaven is fresh off of an engagement that was doomed to never fly because the groom was too insecure and his wings got clipped. Now she’s flying solo and trying to restore her feminine spirit that took several blows from the chicken/ex. She needs restoration, a sexual awakening and it’s needs to be hot but discreet.
Midas is a very busy man with alot of money. He doesn’t have a lot of time, friends or someone he can share, build and just be with - no pretenses.
These two are kismet! It felt real - too real.
Oh and that balcony action was everything.
Meant to be, but only for one night.
Where they found the power to let it be what it’s supposed to be - I don’t know. But I sure wanna find out if it’s really the end or the end for now.

Sensual, sexual, intense, freeing, full abandonment, and very fulfilling rendezvous. Heaven and Adonis needed to escape the realism of their daily lives if only for one night. However, their one night was anything but simple, imprinting upon them in the most profound ways. They gleamed and rendered from each other more than they thought was possible. I'm looking forward to seeing if their paths cross in the light of day and would their souls recognize each other.

Would you be able to just spend one night without catching feelings? What would you do if you ended up catching feelings would try and break the contract or would you ponder on what could’ve been? This was a cute novella. New to me author and I loved the flow of the book. Now I have to go through the catalog to see the other book(s) the characters were in. Lol.

It was wayyyyy too wordy! It seemed like most of the book consisted mainly of what both characters were thinking. It seemed they barely conversed. Maybe a reread later to see if I feel differently but I doubt it.
