The emotional rollercoaster Zane Michaelson has taken me on with this series has come to an end. The storyline is dark and pulled intense feelings from me with each twist the author wove into the pages.
While reading Playing Dead, I had to bite back tears as my heart broke in two. I've followed Tyson's journey for months and now feel as if I have some closure.
This book has the type of ending where you close your ereader or paperback and sit quietly while the words absorb into your thoughts.
It's a series you'll want to reread and look for the clues which may be hidden throughout the pages.
This is a fantastic final book to what I believe to be Mr. Michaelson's best series yet.

I have no words to explain the emotions coursing through me from this final chapter of this amazing series. Although it is not the ending I hoped for it was fitting and the perfect ending to this tortuous series. I'm blown away by the sacrifices, the twists and the absolute unconditional love. I hate to see it all end. Tyson Reece stole my heart and will remain with me forever. This series is definitely at the top of my list of all time favorites!

Wow- what a fantastic ending to a phenomenal series. This book takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride that keeps you on the edge of your seat. There are twists and turns that will have your heart racing but the ending will leave you speechless. It's not what you think would happen but it's the way it should be and makes the series come to a perfect close. Very well written with wonderful characters.

March 28, 2020AND There it goes... the remainder of my heart as I read the final scenes to this amazing and too close to real life story. With an ending that had my heart palpitating, it was written exactly as it should have been, making this story very real in my eyes.
I highly recommend this series and this Authors work, he has amazing talent .... a real storyteller.

OMG what can I say about this series. I have had my heart broken 💔 and put back together ❤️ so many times I am an emotional wreck.
This rollercoaster series will take you on a ride. The storyline is dark and gritty dealing with some tough situations. The way Zane takes you through them is amazing and will leave you wanting so much more.
The way Zane deals with the dark subjects of the sex trade, sexual abuse, abuse, drugs and death is hard hitting but beautiful at the same time and even when my heart was breaking I just couldn’t put the books down.
The twists he takes you through will leave you guessing right to the end. People you think you can trust, you can't. People you want to hate, you will end up loving.
But will everyone get the HEA they truly deserve? Will those that caused all the pain and hurt get their true comeuppance? I'm not going to answer those questions for you, just say you must read the entire series and find out for yourself.
My final thoughts, thank you Zane for this wonderful series. But it will be a while before I can read another. I don’t think I could take the heartache again anytime soon ❤️

I've read all the books in this series and I've fell in love with most of the characters.
Also some as you will find when reading have brought a side out of me I never knew I had. I wanted to hurt them some quite badly.
These books are a reality check on what is happening with human trafficking even though it's not based on true life events.
My emotions have been all over the place, one book I'm broken, then my soul rises only for more twist and turns to leave me in an emotional mess where I literally have tears running down my face and believe me this series will stay with me forever.
Oh boy this last book is no different and if your looking for a happy ending then grab a box of tissues. I really can't put into words how these books have touched upon my soul and left me scarred and also intrigued by what is to come next. Brilliantly written and I really can't recommend them enough

All throughout this series your never quite sure if the dead stay dead!
This book had more ghosts resurface.
Kyle and Tyson are finally happy and safe in a new location with new identities and a gorgeous daughter Ava. How long will till their happy bubble bursts!
Another brilliant must read all at once novel by Zane Michelson.

Wow, I'm sad!!! The ending to this series leaves me sad. I was hoping for a better ending but we got what needed to happen. I love Zane's books and this one is no different. You have to read the other books in order to read this one. Thanks Zane for a great series even though at times I wanted to kill you..

What An Ending
The ending to this series was not what I expected. This last book will have feeling all different ways. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. I wished it could have ended differently but Zane Michaelson knows his work. A job well done

Speechless!!!!
The anticipation was so high, the butterflies in my tummy were somersaulting as I read through the chapters with trepidation. I honestly had no idea how this series could get any better........well, all I can say is just go ahead and read this book to find out! But be prepared for your heart to be crushed and your emotions to be trampled by Zane's amazing writing talent in this outstanding story and series!!
