Hey, I’m Amy, I write books for folks who crave laugh-out-loud paranormal mysteries. I help bring humor into readers’ lives. I’ve got a Pharm D in pharmacy, a BA in Creative Writing and a Masters in Life. And when I’m not writing or chasing around two small children (one of which is four going on thirteen), I can be found antique shopping for a great deal, getting my roots touched up (because that’s an every four week job) and figuring out when I can get back to Disney World. If you’re dying to know more about my wacky life, here are three things you don’t know about me. —In college I spent a semester at Marvel Comics working in the X-Men office. —I worked at Carnegie Hall. —I grew up in a barbecue restaurant—literally. My parents owned one. If you want to reach out to me—and I love to hear from readers—you can email me at amyboylesauthor@gmail.com. Happy reading!
It's good to have friends when your enemy tears your world to pieced. This book moves along between demons, ghosts vampires and the golden touch life is interesting for our searchers.
For the first time I’m writing a 1 star reference. In order to follow most of this story it’s obvious that I needed to have read the books in another series that came before this series. I don’t mind the fact that there were books written by this author before but to base and constantly refer back is confusing and takes away from the current story. I just didn’t enjoy not knowing whatever was being referred to. Readers need to be warned that to totally follow these adventures, they should read probably from this authors first book forward. These appear to be “cute” books. Actually, kind of a yawn. Very, very young adult.

This book, and possibly the series follows The Sweet Tea Witches series, book 16 by Amy Boyles. I haven't finished this book as I keep getting drawn back to other characters as this book(series) brings together characters from a couple of different series' by Amy Boyles.
In this first book, Axel and Pepper have just gotten married and instead of a honeymoon they are searching for pieces of the heart fire from Magnolia Cove. They end up in Haunted Hollow, which is the home of Blissful and Roan, of the Southern Ghost Wranglers series. I really love when characters float between series!
So of course this had me stopping this book and going back to make sure I was up to date on the Southern Ghost Wranglers series! At this rate it is going to take me forever to read this book, but at the same time I am enjoying it!
I finally finished this book and I loved it. Pepper and Axel are settling into married life and this book does look at them a bit, their relationship and also the relationship between Betty and Pepper. Pepper is really maturing and accepting her role in the family of witches and her responsibilities. It is nice to finally she her making strides after 16 book!
Blissful and Roan are a little more prominent in this book and you really see their relationship developing and Blissful learning to accept what has happened to her in the past and moving on.
Of course, once I finished it I had to go back and re-read Blissful's series and knowing that the next book in this series will bring Charming Calhoun into the story line, I will be looking at re-reading that series again before I start book two!
This is actually a crossover series where Pepper and Axel travel to Haunted Hollow to try to find a part of the town heart that was torn into four pieces. It seems some guy in Haunted Hollow has suddenly developed the ability to turn things into gold. The second main problem is that an evil guy is also after the heart pieces so it's a question of who gets to it first and can the problems the Midas-touch guy created be solved.
The problem I had with this book is that I am not familiar with the Haunted Hollow series and so I wasn't really that interested in its characters. Also, I think this is a crossover that wasn't really necessary. It actually seems sort of forced, something that was done to just make another series of books. It also shows just how ineffective the security system is in Magnolia Cove that someone could actually get to the Heart.
I'm probably going to skip the other books in this particular crossover series.
This is a good co-mingling of two enjoyable series. Pepper, Axel, and Grandma Betty from the "Sweet Tea Witches" have chased part of the heart fire to Haunted Hollow, Alabama. Luckily for them, this is where Blissful, Roan, and the gang from "Southern Ghost Wranglers" can be found. I liked that the teams worked together to solve the catastrophes in both series, and the multiple viewpoints setup works (for this special crossover series ONLY!). Betty is an even bigger pain than usual, I am most sincerely tired of reading about grown humans whimpering for no reason (invest in a thesaurus, Ms. Boyles), and continually misnaming a recurring character after mentioning her is a fail (also invest in proofreading); however, the concept of a crossover series that puts the "Sweet Tea Witches" into other worlds is innovative, fun, and well-managed. This book is an excellent beginning for the series!
An Entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. An Entertaining cast of characters and a great storyline. This is a spin off side series of the sweet tea witches Siri. When pepper was getting ready to take on the heart fire the dastardly Blake an evil vampire interrupted their ritual and tried to steal the heart from pepper and your family. It caused the heart to shatter and dispersed into the atmosphere in four separate pieces. No pepper an actual and others mess search out the pieces of the heart fire and bring it back together and repair it as it is the magic that keeps their magical town going. Well Pepper and her crew are looking for it so is Blake in the evil vampires. Read on and see what happens in this first book of the four book spinoff series. Siri. In the last sweet tea
He's got the Midas Touch! What a fun crossover series starter! The Magnolia Cove folks (Pepper, Axel, and Betty) head over to Haunted Hollow with those folks (Blissful, Roan, Alice, and Ruth) and the interactions between them all are very fun to read. The story got a little darker than I was expecting with the demon possession of a child (I didn't love that part), but the main mystery/magic plot of the golden touch was done wonderfully and I enjoyed how we occasionally got a chapter from the villain's perspective as well. This is a quartet that brings all the previous series by this author together in a way that really works for me.
Axel and Pepper are married! All should be right with their world. But, of course, it’s never a dull moment and when the Heartstone is broken in pieces the town of Magnolia Cove is losing its magic. Can Pepper, Alex and Betty find the pieces and bring the magic back? Well, with the held of Blissful, Roan and the Ghost Wranglers it should be a piece of...shortbread!
What Amy has done here is brilliant! There are crossovers in a lot of series but this is the mother of all crossovers and it’s a genius idea. Pepper and Axel star in a new series that connects all of the author’s other series together. I love each one and this was an excellent book with some of my favorite characters.
While transferring the magic from her ancestors heart from her grandmother to her Pepper breaks it. The vampire wanted the power for himself. Now it's a race to find the pieces before Blake does. She helps a friend as she is looking for the pieces. This was an awesome book about live and friendship by Amy Boyles.
Another great series by Amy Boyles. Pepper, Axel, and Betty get help from Blissful, Roan and the gang on their quest to save Magnolia Cove. I love that this new series will be visiting old friends.
The books that Amy Boyle writes are fun mysteries!. I live her hero's and heriones and the bad guys getting their due diligence. Cant wait to read the second book in this series.
What a title! I loved this story. Great characters from great series came together to make a story to love. Forever is forever, how awesome was that!?! Moving on to the next read!!
What could be better than having some of your favorite characters working together on a major quest to save a magical town? Pepper, Axel and Betty join Roan, Blissful and the ghostly crew.
Okay book. Fast read. Now, its not something new, but there is so little diversity in this genre. I want more diverse characters and I don't mean vampires, shifters, ghosts or reapers!
I have loved every one of her books so far. I loved them so much nI am losing sleep. I always think how can she keep the interesting but everyone has some new twist. I love the ghosts carting off the vampire it was great and I will always be a fan or forever.
These books are so good, and they are just getting better and better,I am enjoying the story line, characters and the cross over between the two sets of books and serie's it is so good!
Another bang up job of introducing characters and letting all the feels come out to play! Amy has an awesome skill of coming up with unique and thrilling adventures and dragging us along to experience all of it! Great read!
I have enjoyed reading this book along with the Sweet Tea Witches series. Amazing that Amy can write that many words without using foul language. Thank you for that Amy, it's a pleasure reading your work.
Right in the middle of the Sweet Tea Southern Witches (Southern Magic Wedding #16) it helps to read this next 4 book series. You don't have to, but I started #17 and decided I needed to find out what happened to the Heart Fire, first.
A man finds a piece of the heart stone and starts turning things and people into gold. Pepper, Axel and Betty hear about it and come looking for the man and the piece of stone. Interesting interplay among their various skills.
Love Axle & Pepper but it took a bit to get into this book. Felt like I was hopping around to different stories within the book. But one I got going was good.
Great read! One of the best things about this book is that it's the beginning of a new series, but there is already a whole series of books about a couple of the "guest star" characters.
