‘The Interview with the Don’ by Junaid Asif is a book that revolves around Rashid who is from a village. He leads a very simple life but has very high aspirations and wants to lead a luxurious life in the cities. He tries his luck with his dream of becoming a movie star and makes his way to Mumbai and later brings his wife too the city of dreams. But life has different plans for Rashid and life takes a sudden turn and he is introduced to a different life which is totally opposite to how he is living now. Soon he is introduced to the mafias & underworld life and things start getting nasty. What is the reason for this drastic change in his life? How does he get introduced this life which is very different from his previous life? To know more read ‘The Interview with the Don’
The plot is well written and I must say that the author has excellently shown us how life of people can change drastically with certain unwanted events that take place in our life. The characters are well developed and I was emotionally attached to them. They are totally relatable and hence readers would surely feel more attached to the Rashid. Language is simple and lucid. The cover page and the title of the book are apt to the plot.
Overall, I would say that it is a book which will leave you with all sorts of emotions some parts would make you fall in love and others would make you cry. I would surely recommend this book to all.

EXCELLENT conservation between characters of the story and gripping storytelling was more than amazed to find out so many interesting facts about ( Underworld, ) And many facts about ( DON ).
It's a beautiful narrative story with simple language which has been phenomenal to keep readers thoughts marinated with their Imagination and production for the next moves and hold the suspense.
The author has kept no stone unturned, for which I like the most.
Overall very interesting book with life changing example of Don's life journey.
I definitely recommend to all if you enjoy suspense thrillers and/or looking for an awesome crime thriller with good and beautiful narrations.

Book with an amazing story
The story of the book revolves around a common man how his life changed after going to the city of Mumbai. Rashid loved his wife very much, and he used to work as a tobacco seller. But his life changed in the city of Mumbai where every day many peoples were being killed due to gang war happening between gangster. His love was dead and it left a deep impact on him.
Every thing is gone from his life. He is lonely in his life, but he has only one motive to kill the guys who were involved in the death of his wife. From there twist comes in his life. He killed the persons involved in the death of his wife and it landed him in the jail. New life was waiting for Rashid which will transform him into a Don. Story of the book moves very fast and has many actions scenes. Book shows what changes came into the life of Rashid and whom he meet in his life that changed him. He meet south Indian don, Russian gangsters and many others that made him a fearless don of that time. The story of the book is very amazing and shows about how a common man life changed and become a Don that can change things in just a second. Title of the book is perfectly suitable for the story of Rashid. Book has many action packed sequence and many things which will give you thrill at every point when you read the book. He dreams of living his life under luxury in city lights .He soon makes his way to dream city BOMBAY and aspires to become an actor. The destiny has different plans for him, nothing seems to go as planned. Rashid is introduced to mafia, dons…. his life takes a drastic turn after that.
What happened to his dreams? Was he happy in his current position? What made him choose the darkest path? To find out these do read the book.

This is my first ever interview book read and my experience was amazing. The prologue got me so intrigued to the story that I just kept reading on. The title was also catchy although it could excite me more if I was a twelve year old.
Coming to the plot;
Rashid( the Don ) was a farmer and fancies to be an actor so comes to Bombay (Mumbai). He later on marries Rabeeya love of his life. But destiny didn't suite well for Rashid's acting career when his wife was killed in a Gangwar. He decided to kill all those responsible and became the biggest Don of the city.
The plot has a lot many exciting characters. I must say that all of them are characterized amazingly. It was a direct interview so it caught the reader's mind better. There were seat gripping moments and one cannot stop thinking about the future events while reading this book. Wonderful experience..

Wonderful, toe gripping, fast paced–the three words that I would use to describe this exhilarating and heart wrenching saga of a notorious don. This master of underworld is only known as a man with blood on his hands but what is the story behind this fearful reputation? The story is presented in an interview format which makes it easy to grasp and feels very real to read. This format has made the characters come to life. By the end, my final judgement was that no one is a criminal from birth but it's the circumstances that make them one. Although it's not an excuse for all the crimes that the criminal has committed but at least it helps in looking at their lives with an empathetic and neutral perspective. The universal law of Karma and the law of land is there to take care of its rewards and punishments. Ultimately, go for this book if you love reading books on crime and thriller.

The interview with the don is book By junaid Asif. It is crime thriller. Story is about a boy who lives in village with his family and help his father in farming. He get a chance to go yo Bombay and want to become actor. He struggle a lot to be a actor but he got chance. Later on he end up joining a gangster team. End as a don. How he end up as don ? What happen suddenly ?

The story revolves around Rashid (Don), a simple person from village who wanted to be an actor in Hindi film industry. He got married to Rabeeya. Later how he became Don and came in contact with mafia and underworld. To know you have to read the book. It is a perfect blend of romance and crime. Language used is simple and lucid. Characters are well developed. The title of the book is eye catchy and the cover is apt to the content. Action scenes are narrated so well. Recommend to those who love reading crime thrillers.

A boy who belongs to a simple family turns into a don of mumbai. This is a story which is somehow seems to be like a movie. The boy have some dreams to become a actor but destiny plays a important role in everybody's life and at the end he become a gangster. What happen to him in Mumbai? Why a simple boy from a common family become a gangster? A interesting book to read and I think it is worth of it's time.

Reinforces that Don too is a Human!
Liked the narrative style. Story starts off in the background of interviewing the Don. One question- How did you become a Don? leads to a combination of emotional and assertive narration by the Don describing as to how did he end up being the most fearful Don.
