Will Finn is a rodeo hero from Montana with a secret talent.
Will's two other, not-so-secret talents include riding bulls and providing select women of Bozeman with the kind of erotic pleasure that has made him a legend. After getting thrown and trampled by a rampaging bull six months ago, he just made his comeback in the ring. But out of it ... he seems distracted.
Ella Parker is an art curator from New York City who's on a mission. When work takes her to Bozeman for an exhibition, she stumbles across a discovery that has the potential to change her life.
As their paths collide, Ella and Will find that each has something the other wants. But neither is about to give in easily, especially when sparks begin not just to fly but to ignite them both in ways they never even imagined ...
GENIUS is a sexy standalone romance starring a hot, obsessed alpha cowboy and the sweet & sassy New Yorker who brings him to his knees (includes two HEA epilogues!).
Julie Capulet is an Amazon top 20 bestselling author of contemporary romance. She writes steamy he-falls-first romance with heart, heat and fairy tale HEAs. Her stories are inspired by true love and she’s married to her own real life hero. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, traveling, walking on the beach and watching rom-coms. ♥
Genius, by Julie Capulet, is a stand alone, sexy, sweet, wonderful romance with an alpha hero and a heroine that knows what she wants. For me, Julie’s books are a definite one click. Every one of them checks off every box I have that makes a book a must read. This one included.
Ella Parker is twenty five years old and lives in New York. Art is her life. She is currently working for an art gallery with a nightmare boss. But it’s an income she needs and she is making important contacts she will need for the day she is able to make her own dream come true, to start her own gallery. Her boss is sending her to Bozeman, Montana to try to sign an artist there. Ella loves her cowboy romance novels and hopes to see some real life sexy cowboys while she is there. Little did she know, her dreams were about to come true.
Will Finn is twenty six years old and has lived in Bozeman on his family’s ranch his entire life. Will is a champion rodeo bull rider when he’s not helping to run the ranch. Until six months ago when a raging bull decided to stomp on him a few times. That accident changed Will. During his recuperation he’s been restless, withdrawn. Buckle bunnies hold no interest at all. He’s been reminded just how easily everything can be taken from you and he finds himself wanting more. And then there she was.
“The girl just walked out of my wildest fantasies and into my life.”
Will is every cowboy fantasy Ella has ever dreamed of. But, both Will and Ella have something the other wants/needs. It doesn’t take long and their overpowering attraction takes over. These two can’t resist each other. The days that follow are filled with passion and wonder. But their time together has an expiration date. Ella has to return to New York and Will’s life is on the ranch.
“Will?” “Yeah?” “I’m glad I found you.” “I’m glad you found me, too, baby.”
Once these two come together, they are hotter than hot! More than that, though, they fill an emptiness they both had in their lives. But how can they ever come to a compromise and find a way for their lives to come together? Is it even possible, or should they just be glad for what they had for a short time and walk away?
Most of you know I have such a thing for cowboys and Will was perfect! He was all sexy alpha that treated the woman he loved with gentle adoration. Ella was no push over. She knew what she wanted and wasn’t hesitant to go after it. I loved every page of this book. There are TWO amazing epilogues and I have to admit the second one made my eyes water just a little bit. Julie is most definitely an author that is an immediate one click for me. I can’t wait for you all to meet Will and Ella.
ღ What could be hotter than a big sexy Cowboy who rides bulls for living...We meet all 5 sexy Finn brothers (Luke, Nathan, Jack, Wyatt, & of course Will) in this stand alone, sexy, sweet, romance

I can't wait to read all about these big sexy cowboys’ stories! I’m hoping that Julie Capulet give each & every one of the Finn brothers their own book!
📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion + Also I wouldn’t never discourage anyone from reading this book. ➦*I received an ecopy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review of it. 💕 💕 . .**This has not influenced my review.* **
Eh. These two didn’t really have much chemistry. I was confused how we got to soulmates so quick. I was also disappointed with the “cowboy” angle since he doesn’t even want to be a cowboy, and by the end he’s some billionaire artist big city metro-sexual. 🫤 Also, this one doesn’t have virgin h, which is kinda this author’s bread and butter and while it didn’t bother me, it did leave me a little deflated. The hero was kinda a sad-sack.
A very romantic and very sexy quick read!! This is the fourth book of Julie Capulet that I have read, and she hasn’t let me down in the least!!!
Will and Ella made such a beautiful couple and their insta-love and chemistry were extraordinary!!! They were very well developed, with their strengths and flaws, yet wonderful. The story had a very good pace, dual pov and the drama almost nonexistent! The ending felt rather rushed, I would have liked one or two more chapters. However, I was paid off with not one but two epilogues which I overjoyed!! The ofher four Finn brothers were very interesting, I hope to read their stories in the near future! And the cover was fantastic!!!!
This is a Cowboy Romance. I really loved this book, and the characters were so great. Ella is a city girl that is in the art work, and Will is a rodeo cowboy with a secret. Ella and Will come from two different worlds, but they fit together so well. I really loved the romance in this book. The ending of this book was everything I wanted. I felt the book was steamy, fun, and sweet which is everything I want in a cowboy romance. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher or author (Julie Capulet) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.
This may be a slow burn, but when it heats up, it heats ALL THE WAY UP. Wowza! 🥵🌶❤️🔥
Here's an easy read that I wish I'd picked up sooner. I like Ella Parker and Will Finn together. She's sweet and driven without being overbearing. He's broody and dominant and loves being overbearing with Ella, but only in the bedroom, mostly. This is definitely a case of instalove, but it seems to work for them.
For the first time in my life, the invitation for meaningless sex appeals to me about as much as a faceplant in the middle of the rodeo ring. -- Will Finn
Fleur and Will's siblings bring their own magic to the story. Jack's idea of a kickstarter is entertaining... and effective 😘🤣 I really like them.
Synopsis: Will Finn is back as the record-holder bull rider at the Bozeman Rodeo after spending six weeks in the hospital, followed by four months of recuperation after an accident on the ring of which he was the champion. He is not as sure of himself now as he was earlier, and he feels a monumental change within him. He craves permanence, he wants something more from life. And he has a big secret.
Twenty-five year old Ella Parker has a recent fetish for cowboys, thanks to the romance novels she's been reading. She works at an art gallery and is now being sent to an exhibition in Bozeman in order to take on board a new artist. Along with the news that it would be her final job, as she's being fired. She sets for Montana with new hope in her heart, and for all she knew, to get to see a real live cowboy! She's all set to go wild in the Wild West. And also to realise her ultimate dream.
Review: Narrated in the first person and told from an alternate his and her point of view, this was a heart-warming story. I have never read a story featuring a rodeo, or even cowboys. I think I stay away from them for some reason (don't know why), but I really enjoyed this one.
I liked Ella's peppy character. In spite of having lost both her parents at sixteen and her grandparents too, she's determined not to lose the house she inherited from them. And that brings me to Will for whom I felt bad too. Losing both his parents at seventeen, thank God for his brothers who together took care of their ranch and of each other, together.
They are five brothers, Luke who's married to Casey, Nathan is with Fleur, Will, Jack and Wyatt. Will is twenty-six now while Luke is four years older and Nathan a.k.a. Nate is only a year older. And that is where Ella comes in. The artist for whom she's been sent to Montana, Fleur Jensen, is Nate's girlfriend. Jack is two years younger than Will. This book, the first of a series, started with Will. And according to the author's newsletter, The Finn Brothers series will get at least two more books - Jack (and Sadie?) and Wyatt (and Jasmine?) - the question marked names having been mentioned in the Epilogue of this book.
Ella's obsession with cowboys was outright hilarious. I couldn't help laughing out loud so many times. And Will has a secret passion that only Nathan and Fleur know about, or so he thinks. And I was so surprised as well as pleased because I could just imagine Ella and Will being together after that, so clearly. And it's delightful when Will keeps Ella at the centre of his secret. What sauciness! The story has not one but two beautiful Epilogues down the line and it is everything a romance reader like me can wish for.
Once I started reading Genius, it was hard to put down. Like, very, very hard. Why? Because Ms. Capulet writes sexy, and brooding, and bossy, and loving, and over-protective alphas ridiculously well. Will is a perfect example of that. He made all parts of me happy.
The chemistry between Will and Ella was super hot from the very first eye contact they made. I could feel it sizzling. And their passion... delicious and seriously enviable.
They connected on a level that warmed my heart, made me swoon, and gave me tingles in all the right places.
Not only are the main characters amazing, but I fell for the secondary ones as well. I was elated to read that other characters are getting their own book! Because Will’s brothers? Equally sexy. Bring on more Finn brothers!
This book left me satisfied, with a big smile on my face. So. Good.
I love insta-love! And Julie Capulet is one of those authors you can one click and be guaranteed a steamy,heart-pounding alpha hero claims the girl. Elle is a spitfire in her own right but sees something in the sexy bull rider she can resist. I think what really made this book click for me was the hero didn't bowl over the heroine to get his way. Don't worry fans - you still get that super OTT feels that Ms Capulet is guaranteed to deliver. This was a fun, sexy, quick-paced romp to spend a weekend of romance escape.

i officially read all of julie capulet’s books. just (im)patiently waiting for her new releases 🙂
this book is one of my least favorites. i just didn’t feel the passion between them that was present in her other books and i would’ve liked the H to be more obsessive/possessive. it fell a bit flat for me 😭
This may be a slow burn, but when it heats up, it heats ALL THE WAY UP. Wowza! 🥵🌶❤️🔥

Will is a brooding, champion bull rider who almost lost his life to the most unrideable bull in history, King Tut. Now he's back after 6 months recovery, but he's changed. He no longer wants to lead the playboy life and is looking for something more permanent.
Ella is an assistant curator for a NY art gallery. Her boss sends her to Bozeman to sign a new artist, but she's more excited to see if there are any cowboys and if they live up to her romance novels.
Of all of Julie Capulet's books this might be my favorite to date. I so love Rafe, Max, Bo, Caleb, Gage and Travis, but there is just something about Will! Who wouldn't love a sexy cowboy? What a wonderful book! You can feel the open spaces of a Montana ranch and the crowds of New York. The characters are amazing. The rodeo announcer just kills me! The chemistry between Will and Ella is steamy from the second they set eyes on each other. You can feel the energy of the rodeo.
Julie Capulet is an amazing writer whether it be billionaire businessmen, football quarterbacks, rock singers or bull riding cowboys she gets to the heart of all of her characters. I highly recommend anything she writes!
Perfect for a quick, swoony romance read. And fun characters with deep back stories that tug on your heart, too. And a bull riding, cowboy artist. What more do you need? All Capulet's books are bingeworthy. Lots of banter and beautiful romance scenes, and this one is set in stunning Montana. The author brings you into their world. Synopsis and blurb are on the book's page. Loved it Kerry Kennedy Author
The Complete Package! NYC Meets Montana - Smartly Written, Lovable Characters, Fantastic Chemistry, And A Great HEA.
Will Finn, twenty-six, is a real-life cowboy. Tall, lean, muscled, and soaked in plenty of Montana sunshine, he and his four brothers run the family ranch they inherited from their parents. He has a natural ability to read any animal and began riding when he was five years old. The former state champion has his choice of women and has enjoyed being the life of the party - but that all changed six months ago.
Today he is a brooding hermit. His brothers encourage him to get back in the game, hoping some one nighters will alter his bad mood. But his fall from the bull at Bozeman rodeo that nearly took his life left him a changed man. The idea of a meaningless night of indugence now repulses him, much to his own dismay. He wants more.
Ella Parker, twenty-five and an assistant curator at Heights Gallery in New York City, has just been told that her employement contract isn't being renewed at the end of the month. With a mortgage, student loans, and a poor job market, Ella needs to think outside of the box and make something happen.
She is sent to Bozeman, Montana by her obnoxious boss for one final scouting trip, but ends up finding something completely unexpected in one insanely handsome and rugged bull-riding cowboy with a secret pastime. Like the hero in her romance novels, Will Finn is everything. And he could save her if only he would share his talent with the world and agree to an exhibit. Manic and temperamental like so many artists, Will stubbornly resists Ella's attempts to get through to him, but he has ideas of his own.
Ella and Will find themselves immediately at odds. But they are also drawn to one another. For Will, it is a craving he can hardly control, and once he has her he never wants to let her go. Ella has a life and responsibilities in New York, however, and the couple must face the reality of their situation and their baggage if they are to have any hope of a future. Ella and Will receive a well-deserved HEA!
This book is the complete package! A bright and heart-warming journey, it is a beautifully written easy read. The POV alternates between Will and Ella. The plot is simple but unfolds slowly to maintain interest. The rodeo and gallery scenes are smartly written with an authentic voice. There is no unnecessary drama just for the sake of it. I loved the ending - it is so nice to see how Will handles things. The characters are endearing! They are nicely developed. It is great to know that the author has recognized that some of the supporting characters are crying out for a story of their own. Ella and Will feel real, and although they need to sort themselves out, they don't waste half the book changing their minds as is so often the case. It leaves the reader happy and satisfied. I rate this book five stars.
I received a free advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Genius was such a fun and heartwarming love story. A quick read I absolutely enjoyed until the last page. I like romances with a broody, stubborn, alpha protagonist and a sassy, restless and headstrong heroine. Put these characters in a wild-west environment with cowboys and bull riding and the book is definitely gonna be a winner for me.
Will Finn is a rodeo cowboy. He and his 4 brothers own a ranch and continue the family business, training horses and trading cattle. Will's life is turned upside down when he has an accident at one of the rodeo shows, a bull stomping him and putting him in the hospital with broken ribs and a head injury. After this traumatic event something changes deep within him, he finds joy in doing something else besides riding bulls and doing ranch work. He has a secret his not willing to share with his brothers or anyone else until Ella comes into the picture and turns his world upside down. The sassy art curator is determined to change his mind regarding the secret he wants to keep locked up, and won't leave him alone until she tries everything she can to change his mind. Because she needs his help as much as Will needs hers even if he doesn't think so at first.
“The girl just walked out of my wildest fantasies and into my life.”
The attraction between Will and Ella is instant. From the first time they lay eyes on each other, there's a strong pull between them. It starts as a feral attraction but rapidly develops into something more. I loved their banter, the push and pull, the way Will tries to be all cool and indifferent towards her but deep inside all, he wants is to lock her up in his loft and never let her go. His inner turmoil was heartbreaking at one point, and Ella was the perfect balm for his bleeding heart. She is sweet and caring towards him even when he is a stubborn "beefcake". I liked her determination and the fact that even in the most vulnerable moments she managed to keep a leveled head.
The story is told in dual POV which I really enjoyed. The writing style was fun, entertaining and easy to follow. The action was fast-paced and straight forward. I liked the built-up tension between Will and Ella at the beginning. It made their interactions so much more intense (the sexy scenes were extremely hot). Also, the secondary characters were well presented and relatable, and I really hope we get to see more of Will's hunky brothers in future books. The book ends with an HEA and the two epilogues were perfect to conclude this lovely story.
I highly recommend this book if insta-lust/love reads with protective, obsessive, OTT alpha protagonist is your jam.
* I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a free copy on HiddenGemsBooks. All thoughts and opinions are my own. *
This is a hot, steamy, standalone featuring insta-Love, a whole lot of heat, and a dynamic family of hot cowboys. It is written in first person from a dual POV. Will is hot and a little grumpy, with a sensitive soul under his rugged exterior. Ella is a sassy, feisty heroine from NYC with big dreams and the drive to achieve them. When they meet, the chemistry is electric. Ella doesn't push Will too much: she accepts him as he is. They both fall hard and fast. Their first week together is filled with smoking hot, kindle-melting, heat. Will's family is awesome and I hope to read more of their stories in the future. Their relationships are realistic and strong. I loved Ella and Will together and the bonus epilogues are fantastic. There are times this feels a little like a fairy tale, an I absolutely loved it. If you are looking for a hot read with insta-love and an alpha cowboy hero, this is your book. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and found it impossible to put down
Will is riding the bull again after an accident that has left him unsatisfied with his current state of unrest, his love life and has left him yearning to spend more time on his new secret passion. He’s a cowboy but now after his recovery he has a secret and it’s something that a hard riding cowboy just doesn’t do In Montana. Ella has been sent to Montana to sign a new artist (her name is Fleur) to the gallery she works for. She’s decided that she’s going to hire this artist for the gallery she wants to open. Ella needs Will to realize her dream but can she get him to agree? He doesn’t need money, like she needs it. He doesn’t care about fame or fortune, so what does he need? The power play between these two is hot, sexy and some of the most erotic I’ve read. This book was really awesome and I couldn’t put it down. The happy ending was epic and absolutely delicious. I give this book five stars and highly recommend it.
Julie Capulet is a Genius, for creating so many awesome characters! I loved Ella and Will! When Ella sees Will, the attraction is instant. Will is a real cowboy, and so hot! Will is equally attracted to Ella, but is hesitant to get involved at first, because his sister in law introduced her and he can't figure out why. Can the rodeo hero convince the art curator to stay in Montana, or will Will follow Ella to New York? I can't wait to read more about the Finn brothers!
Normally I steer clear of insta love, but the cowboy drew me in. Hot, sexy Will was every girls dream, especially Ella’s. This story had some unbelievable moments, but I didn’t care. I fell into this with joy and could not put it down.
I hate giving 1 star because I know that there’s actual hard work and lots of effort that went into making a book. But... at the same time, what the hell? Within 2 days of knowing each other, and having not even spent more than a few hours together in total, they’re in love. Yet all they do is talk about how hot the other one is.
Also, don’t get me wrong, I can dig insta-love... when it’s done properly and the characters are fleshed out.
If you’re looking for a similar book with a better execution, I recommend The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks.
I so enjoyed reading this romance. Ella is such a total sweetheart and so is Will. They have such explosive chemistry together and I loved how it has both POVs so that we can see them fall in love. The Finn brothers sound so yummy that I hope that there will be other books (and makes me want to go to Montana!). I found this story sweet, steamy and so entertaining.
I received a free advanced reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest review.
This was my first Julie Capulet novel. I'm a sucker for a cowboy romance, so when I saw this one pop up, I decided to give it and the author a try. I enjoyed the first half, but the last half seemed really rushed. I did appreciate the author giving us 2 epilogues. I love a good epilogue that takes us years into the future of the couple's relationship.
Ella is an art curator and has been tasked by her NYC boss to get an up-and-coming artist (Fleur) to sign with their gallery. So she heads to Montana in hopes of signing Fleur and of course, meeting some hot cowboys.
Will is a bull rider who spent the last 6 months rehabbing after nearly dying from a bull ride gone bad at a rodeo. He's found a love for something else in those 6 months that he's kept secret from the world, minus a brother and Fleur.
When Ella and Will meet, you can say there's instant-attraction. I loved the tension between them, I just wish the author had kept that up for a bit longer. I'm still not quite sure how they ended up taking their 'relationship' to the next level so suddenly when they were only spending time together getting to know one another and the ranch. Next thing I know, they're barely coming up for air and this would go on for the rest of the book. I actually thought maybe I had skipped a couple paragraphs in that first scene by the river since the transition was so abrupt. I like when things get hot, but in this case, they were at each other so often that the plot took a back seat and I began to lose interest. And then when things do go south, they reconcile pretty quickly. So we don't even really get any angst with this story.
The epilogues did help make up for some of the disappointment in the last half of the book. They were certainly cute together and made things work out despite how unlikely it was.
Side note...was this a novella? It seemed really short to me since I finished it in less than a day.
Sexy Alpha Cowboy Falls In Insta Love With A NYC Art Dealer!!🔥💘🔥 Surprisingly Enjoyable!😍 Genius (A Sexy Contemporary Cowboy Billionaire Romance)
This was a surprisingly enjoyable & engaging read. Both Will & Ella were good characters. He was a grumpy cowboy who'd had an emotional crisis after an accident & she was a little insecure but positive in her abilities at her job!! They meet when Ella arrives to try & sign his brothers girlfriend, Fleur, for her new art gallery in New York City.
This is a steamy read. The H's alpha-ness can come off a bit d*ckish at times but the h is really into it so it's sits ok within this context.👍 The insta love is not my favourite trope but again the Author gives enough of a story following the fall to make it ok & the double HEA epilogues make it even more palatable! An all around decent read!😍
Wow….what an amazing read! I love this author's work and each book I read, I feel like I get a new look at what this author is capable of. Genius, I went into this book thinking it was a standalone read but my goodness I sure hope we get to see more of the Finn brothers. This book is an amazing story about Will Finn and Ella Parker. Two people who could not appear to be more be different but yet have so much in common. Will is returning to the rodeo circuit after spending the last six months recovering from being crushed by a bull. Ella is an art curator for a gallery that wants her to snag a new artist for a show but plans to fire her. Ella is up to her eyes balls in money concerns but she heads out to Montana from New York City to sign the artist……for her own art gallery that she needs to make happen. Ella does not anticipate learning what she does about Will and getting close to him. Will does not see Ella coming as she manages to steal his heart. It looks like Ella's visit is coming to an end but Jack steps I , kisses Ella.and lights on heck of a fire under Will. This was a great story to read that showcased Will and Ella but also introduced us readers to some great secondary characters. The Finn brothers (five, alpha, sexy cowboys) are sure to make you heart beat a little faster, your fingers itch to run your fingers along those muscle ridges and of course your panties wet. Enjoy this book but be careful to savor it as I found it ends way too quickly…..even with two Epilogues!! I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily leaving an honest on this book.
