I really like this authors idea but the execution this time was a bit off. Needs a good edit missing words wrong words and names are failing frequent which was dissapointing. One example is in the epilogue when suddendly Darcy is riding with Mrs Bennett not Mrs Darcy I found it disconcerting to say the least and I am fairly sure Darcy would too.

This Pride and Prejudice variation can be set with how they all meet. Elizabeth meets Georgiana and Darcy by chance at an inn, but has her formal introduction at a London Ball. She sees Darcy again as the attendants at Jane and Bingley's wedding and she has already denied Collins. The trip to Hunsford occurs but with no proposal, but she learns of Wickham. After another trip to London, the story takes a unique turn and Elizabeth proves her love for Darcy even though they haven't discussed their future.
The two have to accept the situation to find their happily ever after.

The story has some mistakes and editing issues. Enough that it stopped my reading a few times to have to double back and make sure I understood what was going on or who the text was about.

Negative stars if I could

Sorry to lambast anyone's work, but...Had to constantly report errors. Author had issues with certain verb tenses. Words missing. Random punctuation, especially in dialogue. Very hard to figure out what author was trying to convey in some sentences. It is books like this that give a really bad name to self-publishing which is ther only way this book could have been published.

Overall, I enjoyed the plot. This was different. Mr. Darcy has people who want to take him down and set him up for fraud; he is sent to prison and left in despair. Lizzy never stops trying to find people to help get him out.

While I enjoyed the story, this book would really benefit from proof reading. I found the wrong names were being referenced, incomplete formatting and spelling errors. Typically I don't deduct stars based on that, but there was a lot in this novel.

In this Pride and Prejudice variation Elizabeth Bennet meets the Darcys at an Inn while travelling with the Gardiners. An inauspicious meeting. Later she meets him as he is groomsman for Jane and Bingley (something wrong with their marriage). Later Darcy is arrested for fraud and of course she is the only one who tries to save him as the Colonel is in France.
An entertaining story.
