Roger When the woman of my dreams knocks on my door, I know exactly what to do. Make her mine. My grandfather always said, “Once you find her, don’t let her go.” But is my love enough to keep her here? If I have anything to say about it, she’ll be in my life and in my arms… no matter the cost.

Stars: 3 Length: Lunch Break Read POV: Dual Series: Vincent Street Valentines Book 2 (Stand Alone/Loosely Connected) Ending: HEA Re-read? No
This story just wasn't for me. I didn't like how retro both the MCs were. It did make them perfect for each other but I just thought they were silly. And the way that he "saves" her? He might as well just of given her a stack of money. I won't be picking up this one again. This isn't the normal Liz Fox high standard that I'm used to.

Library Love: An Alpha Male, Curvy Woman Romance is the second book in the Vincent Street Valentine's series co-authored by C.L. Cruz and Liz Fox. Liz Fox penned this particular book. In this book we are introduced to two dynamic characters--Tootsie ad Roger. Tootsie is an auburn haired curvy beauty and a librarian at the Fairview Library. Roger is a mechanic and enjoys restoring classic cars. Tootsie discovers a 50-year-old love letter in a book of poems. Since Valentine's Day is so close, she decides to track down the author of this letter and return it to him. Her quest leads her to his grandson, Roger Murray. When they first meet, there is an instant attraction. Not too long after meeting Roger, Tootsie learns her job is in jeopardy unless funds can be raised. The library holds a fundraiser to cover her salary. Will Tootsie be able to save her job? Will Tootsie and Roger find happiness?
This short story is well written and is definitely a character-driven plot. Fox's characters, both primary and secondary, are well developed. She does a remarkable job with literary devices such as dialog, point of view and descriptive language. I adored her skill in craftsmanship in developing dialog. Her use of witty banter pulls the reader into this story. I also enjoyed her use of a dual POV with Tootsie and Roger to reveal their true character as she tells their story. Additionally, her descriptive scene allows readers to feel they are first hand witnesses. I found Fox's writing style easy to follow and her characters are truly likeable. So if you enjoy love-at-first-sight romances and you want to curl up with a delightful read then I recommend this HEA romance. Happy Reading
Tootsie works in a library it’s nearly Valentine’s Day and her love life is still flatlined the only boyfriend she can have right now is a book boyfriend, Tootsie stops in the poetry isle she finds a book called love she opens it and see’s a yellowed piece of paper it looks at least 50 years old it’s an old love letter and Tootsie’s heart pounds with anticipation. Tootsie finds a name on the letter she looks it up and finds an address so after work she goes there to find out the mystery of the letter and she see’s a gorgeous man with the deepest of blue eyes. Roger loves finding old machines and making them work again it’s very satisfying, well it’s February the month of love his grandparents still flirt and laugh together that’s what Roger wants a love with a woman who he knows that will last a lifetime and he will know when he see’s her and when he see’s a gorgeous woman knocking on his door he knows and when he shakes her hand he doesn’t want to let her go. That’s all I’m going to give you guys I liked the mystery of the love letter, it’s a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
3.5/5 stars Tootsie works at the library, one day she finds a love letter in a book of poetry, she wants to track the owner down to return it to them. When she finds the info, she goes to the writers house. There she meets Roger, he is the love letter writers grandson. There is an instant connection between the two. Due to budget cuts Tootsie may lose her job, her boss has an idea to hold a fundraiser. Tootsie does not feel comfortable telling Roger of her woes. He comes to the fundraiser and finds Tootsie working the kissing booth. I get it she was trying to save her job, but to kiss random men when she has feelings for Roger. That seemed really wrong. Roger takes her away from the kissing booth and has sex with her in the library storeroom. Again, really?!? The fundraiser does not make enough money so Roger gives the remaining money, that he was saving to buy a special car, to the library. Two epilogues, last one is Tootsie writing a love letter to Roger and him writing one back. Writing was good, but did not connect with the two characters. Didn’t feel the love from Tootsie, which sucked since she is the romantic one of the friends.
I really liked this short story about a librarian and a mechanic meeting and falling into instalove. The characters were likable and easy to relate to.
Tootsie is a librarian and as Valentine's Day approaches she decides to read an old book of love poems. While looking through the book, she finds a love letter. Tootsie decides to find the letter's author and ends up meeting a handsome mechanic. She feels like she has found her man, but her job is in danger and she isn't sure how that would work if she has to move back in with her parents. Tootsie plans to do everything she can to be with Roger and get a happily ever after.
Roger is a mechanic and is surprised when a beautiful woman knocks on his door looking for...him? He knows that he wants to make her his. Roger will do whatever he can to make sure that she’ll be in his life and in his arms forever
This was such a sweet story and it made me happy. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

3.5 Stars Library love is book two in the Vincent street valentine’s series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting. Library love is the first book of Liz Fox’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline easy to follow. Tootsie is a librarian in a small town, she loves the idea of love but it has never happened for her. When she finds a fifty year old love letter in a book, she is determined to return it to its owner. Rodger is surprised when a beautiful stranger turns up at his door. From the moment he meets her, he wants her. I did see some chemistry between Tootsie and Rodger but I would have liked a little more. I liked that Rodger did what he did in order to help Tootsie and make her happy. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is a nice read.
Tootsie is in search of a book of poems while she is working at the library. She comes upon a letter that is in the pages of an old love poem book. Surprisingly nobody has checked out that book in almost 50 years. But surprisingly again the person who wrote the letter still lives in town or says she hopes. That night she meets Roger only Roger is about 40 years to young. His grandpa is the author of this love note to his grandma. It’s nice short love story starts in that manner and almost ends in that manner. No cliffhangers but romantic. For me and my love I would say sappy but that’s just me and my perception. A good read

OMG, this was such a sweet book! Tootsie is a librarian, with a passion for romance. Finding a love letter hidden in a library book leads to her finding Roger, the grandson of the letter writer. Immediately these two form a connection, but not all is smooth sailing. Faced with Tootsie possibly losing her job due to budget cuts, Roger must decide which is more important - growing his car restoration business or keeping Tootsie in his life. These two are so cute together, I just loved reading their story. Very much looking forward to reading more of the Vincent Street Valentines series!

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Roger and Tootsie. She's a librarian who loves books. She is a true romantic at heart, thus is why she still has not found her true love no one meets her expectations of Mr. Darcy. The cleaning up in the library one day she finds an old letter stuck in a poetry book. She goes to find the writer of the letter and meets his grandson, Roger. Roger and Tootsie hit it off right off the bat. It's an instant love at first sight. Great HEA.

Tootsie works in the Library and at Valentines Day she finds a book of poetry and in the book she finds a love letter that's 40 years old. The letter is so beautiful that she researches and finds out who checked it out. She gets the information and goes to the address of Roger Murray's house and finds Roger Murray the grandson. Best day of both of Roger and Tootsie's life. Insta love. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Library Love was a fast-paced, quick, enjoyable story. That had likable characters, and a nice balance of sweetness and heat considering the length of the story, and with the library setting, plus a satisfying meet-cute, I was easily engaged throughout.
**I was kindly provided with an ARC via Booksprout in exchange for an honest review**
A fast pace exciting instalove page turner! The story line is well-developed, well written, a joy to read, and engaging. Likeable characters; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. Definitely recommended.

I loved her name, Tootsie and that she was such a vintage woman. I loved the description of how she looked and dressed. So iconic! It really reminded me of a modern day Grease or Happy Days. Totally dated myself. Couldn't believe that Roger loved her so deeply that he did that for her. But like Gramps said when you know, you know. The office scene 🔥🔥🔥
I think the writing was decent. I liked the dialogue and the characters. I think that it was short and sweet. There was nothing I could find wrong with this story. I really enjoyed it.

Tootsie was adorable and swet i would have liked their relationship to develope a but morewith communication and hanging out but they dont call it instalove for nothing
°Non virgin MCs °Switching POVs °Insta love/lust °Both faithful after meeting °Free of OW/OM drama °No separation °No cheating °No pushing away °Intimate scenes only between hero and heroine °Epilogue: 1 year and a few months (?) later
A letter written 40 something yrs ago bring her to his door. It was his grandfather and they connect. A fundraiser for library didn't meet it's Target and she about to loose her job. He comes to the rescue with his saving and bring her a happy ending
Wonderful chemistry between the two main characters. Cute -Meet Storyline. Well written and enjoyable book. This Author doesn't disappoint. Can't wait for the next book in this series
This book has to be my favorite in this series. Books are so close to my heart so naturally a love story about a librarian is going to capture my heart. I just wanted to be Tootsie, I love the retro and Roger (well Paul Newman is my favorite). Such a sweet read.
What can I say but I really enjoy Liz's books. I can recommend her to family and friends. You laugh and yes, cry sometimes but you still enjoy them. Looking forward to Penny's story.
When Tootsie finds a love letter in a book she loves the romance behind it and has to return it to the owner. She never expects the person to answer the door to be the man for her.
Loved this story. I'm sure being a Librarian myself made a connection easier. And the scene of the Kissing Booth was perfect. Roger is a dream and the ending tying back to start of the story was really sweet.
Super short romance. Librarian finds a love letter in an old book of poems, and looks up the closest name for the checkout records. Hot grandson is found instead. Insta-love ensues. There is a hot countertop scene.
Liz Fox is one of my favorite authors. Her story line and characters are always so good. Short story’s with characters that meet and fall in love. Roger and Tootsies love is so adorable.
