I enjoyed this look into the George Washington of South America. I thought that it was facinating that he read and studied the classics as a young adult. These reads included Homer, Plutarch, Montesquieu, and Voltaire. He also studied in France for a time and studied the effects of the French Revolution. He researched the the constitutions and governments of several nations. After studying in his young life he felt the urge to return to South American and before long this great man was making history and breaking the yolk of Spanish rule.

This perhaps is not the best Bolivar book available, it was what was at my library, but I do recommend making the study of Bolivar a part of your studies.
