The heroine: Tricia Holloway (a.k.a. Trish) - lives in Tonopah and works at a local bar with her friend Suraya. When she was a child, her family was driving when they came across an injured biker on the side of a Nevada road. While her parents were fighting over helping the potentially dangerous biker, Trish got out of the car and gave the injured man her teddy bear to protect him.
The Hero(es): Dexter Lanford (a.k.a. Grim) - President of the Royal Bastards MC and the OG Reaper (Grim the Reaper) from the club who first made a deal with the devil after being captured by a rival MC along with the former President and SAA who were both tortured and killed.
The story: After Grim escaped the Scorpions MC and made a deal with the devil, he was injured on that Nevada highway and his Father figure, Keys had just died when a car pulled up and a little girl got out. While her parents were afraid of the injured biker, Trish walked right up to him and spoke to him, giving him her prized possession because he needed it more than she did.
Grim never forgot Trish and vice versa, so 18 years later when they see each other across the bar where Trish is a bartender, they recognize each other immediately. They start to date but circumstances keep coming between them. The Royal Bastards MC and the Scorpions MC still have unfinished business from 18 years ago and the RBMC is also dealing with the black market railroad.
The black market railroad is a human trafficking ring run by the Russian Mafia and they use a bunch of smaller MC’s like the Scorpion’s to help kidnap and move the girls out of the country. This storyline started in the previous book Ridin’ for Hell and continues into this book, The two books taking place in the same timeline of events.
I am really enjoying storylines in this series and though they can be brutal, the world of the one percenters seems to be the right place for that kind of story. I also really like the supernatural aspect of the story, and the fact that it is just a side aspect and not the whole story. What I mean by that is that though the guys can go all “Reaper” on their enemies, when pulled into a corner. They don’t just go out an supernaturally eliminate anyone who might pose a threat.

Grim is the pres of the RBMC Tonopah chapter, 18 years ago after the Scorpions MC killed Keys (the previous pres) and Lockjaw, Grim made a pact with the devil himself for revenge, it was also the day he first met her, his angel. Trish had been working at the Blacktop bar since leaving high school, and she knew the hot as sin biker the moment he walked in, he was the one she first saw lying on the desert ground when she was 10 years old, and Grim knew it too when their eyes met and sparks ignited. Trish liked a bad boy but was wary of bikers due to her stepbrother's association with the Scorpions and didnt want to be involved with him at first. But now Grim had found his angel he wasnt about to let her go, and vowed to prove that he place was by his side as his ol' lady. But can he protect her from the danger his worlds brings without her fearing the reaper he is inside? This is a well written biker romance and a great addition to the RBMC and chapter series! This book does go over scenes in the previous 2 books but in a different perspective and so is not too repetitive. Nicely paced with a great story line that captures you and doent let go! With action, violence, loss, love, revenge, desires, hot scenes and more!

wow Devil's Ride has it all suspence drama romance paranormal etc. I thought I'd lost everything then my whole life changed after I met the devil himself.Then a little girl who was sweet and kind. .Eighteen years later who knew that one moment changed the course of both our lives. I'm grim prez of rbmc.Trish was my saviour but... death blood and violence followed us.Can we be together ? Can we have peace? Can i save her? Can she accept who and what i am....Brilliant read will leave you eanting more.

Finally getting back to this review. Sorry it took me so long as I've been out of town on an emergency.
Okay now... this is another great book in the Royal Bastards MC. I only have two complaints . First this back and forth with the president and his women is still not settled and second is the next book is not out yet. I mean I really want them together without her keep running scared and getting herself in trouble and having to be rescued. Come on please get it together and let's see about another couple and several more couples.
Great writing and very few errors with all kinds of sexy goodness.

Loved this story! I really love the paranormal aspect of this story it’s unique for a MC romance but I truly enjoyed it! Loved the chemistry between these two characters they were on fire! This was a sexy read and I can’t wait for more ! Definite must read from the Royal Bastards MC series!

Grim and Trish fast moving ride was thrilling. I fell hard and quickly for Grim. He owns a piece of my heart. But I wouldn't take him away from Trish. Like Nikki said, they are like lightning and thunder. The boom and the spark.
Each letter takes you on an unexpected destination. Their story went in ways I didn't expect. I was drawn to the bumps, the fact that they had to claw, kick and fight.
I can't even tell you how my jaw hurts from dropping so much. My heart beat is slowing but I'll feel the effects of this book most likely for hours after. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

This is a book that I enjoyed from the very beginning all the way till the very last page. It moves along at a very nice pace, which was neither too fast nor too slow. The characters are so real that you feel like you know them. No matter what you want to be there for them and see them achieve what they set out to do. This story is a thrill from the beginning and it wont let you go till the end. This is a must read, no doubt about it.

Grim and Trish were meant to be, but the hard life of an MC President threw a lot of challenges their way. Revenge, secrets, and evil kept getting in the way of their happiness. I loved this MC romance with a touch of paranormal that kept things edgy. There is so much loss and heartache throughout this book, I was so sad! I loved Grim, he was so good! I kept rooting for Grim and Trish to hold strong and realize that they belong to each other! This truly was the Devil's Ride!

Nikki Landis is such a great writer and and definitly did not disappoint in Devil's Ride....we have been waiting on Grim and Trish's story and what a ride it has been. This story is full of drama, suspense, and the paranormal. Grim the president sold his soul to the became the Grim Reaper years ago he also met his Angel Trish that same day. Fast forward years ahead and the two reconnect. This is one heck of a ride with lots of twists and turns...this series just keeps getting better and better.

This book is spectacular. The characters and the storyline is beautifully written and it makes you feel welcome. Grim is saved but with it comes the reaper. Trish is all grown now and he never forgot her. She is scared and worried but the one thing she won’t do is stop running. Grim shows patience with her throughout this entire read.

Nikki Landis never ceases to amaze me with her books. Devil's Ride is book three in the RBMC Tonopah NV Chapter. The storyline with the paranormal elements made this book even better than expected. Grim and Trisha's book is definitely a new favorite of mine.

Worth the wait!
I was waiting for Grim and Trish story since the Biker's Gift and it was worth it. The story was amazing and true to the Royal Bastards code, other stories and characters. Can't wait for the next book.

We get to learn all the missing pieces of the relationship between Trish and Grim/Dex from the moment they first met and all the details that we viewed in the preceding Royal Bastards MC books. This one is a "do not miss book" if you are as hooked on this series as I am.

This riveting dark read is a pure adrenaline rush. One decision changed Grim’s life forever. A guardian angel has haunted his dreams for years and now the two have finally reconnected. Grim and Trish’s unique love story is faced with challenges at every turn. This action packed twisted tale is full of secrets, lies by omission, torture, bloodshed and vengeance. this is an MC with a Supernatural twist, these riders all have taken the oath to become reapers, and Grim is their prez. and when his club is thretened he will let loose hell to keep it and the woman he loves safe.

This was a helluva ride. I mean, just wow. Grim and Trish go through all kinds of things.
Sometimes I think that these two should just get as far away from each other as possible and stay away from each other, because they might be toxic to each other. Other times, I think that they should never leave the other alone.

The Devil's Ride by Nikki Landis is amazing. It does glance of some harsh topics so be prepared to tear up. It definitely has a lot of action and fighting. So we have Grim and Tricia who seem to have been fated for each other. Once you read about Grims background and the one chance encounter with Tricia you will understand more about Grim. Tricia grew up and she is tough and has seen things in life that no one should. Grim feels as if he is missing something in his life. So when these two meet again, it isn't by chance. The love, desire and raw emotions with these two is intense. I love every bit. However, so many bad things happen and that can take a toll on someone. Can these two survive this whirlwind to get their happily ever after. Definite must read series. I love the stories that Nikki Landis writes and I cannot wait to read more.

This story had my heart racing and my palms sweating like crazy. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time reading it not wanting to take my eyes off the page in case I missed something. It is a thrilling roller coaster ride that you don’t want to stop. You will be shocked, your panties will melt, and you will beg Nikki to give us more!
This story is dark, gritty and raw but also filled with so much passion, devotion and love. Grim and Trish are everything. Right from their very first meeting these two had me swooning over them and gushing with love.
“I was instantly attracted to the big biker who walked with a no bullshit swagger and instantly commanded the room when he entered. He was sexy as hell. A confident man with a penetrating gaze that whispered sin and seduction. There was an edge to his darkness, like the devil himself lingered inside.”

But these two have lots of pain and darkness to get through before they can finally be together.
With so many little surprises, mysteries, twists and turns throughout and a whole hell of a lot of murder and mayhem, this story will keep you captivated and highly entertained from start to finish. It’s one hell of a ride!

He sold his soul to the devil but then he found his Angel in the same day.
Dex “Grim” is now the president of the Tonopah Chapter of the RBMC and he is a dangerous man. All of his MC brothers are dangerous, but he has a little bit more power than they do. When he walks into the Blacktop Bar with his friend and brother Bodie, he is not prepared to see the eyes of his Angel. She’s eighteen years older now, but he would know those eyes no matter what.
Trisha has dreamt of the man that she saw on the side of the road covered in blood since she was ten years old. The man that just walked into the bar where bar tends is sexy and she knows without a doubt that he’s her man. She’s never forgotten him and now that he’s in the same place as her, she’s not sure what to do. She’s had enough trouble in her life to keep her from wanting to add more with the president of an MC. Her stepbrother has proved to her that bikers are not good men, at least not the ones he hangs around with.
This story is full of danger, action, and tragedy that could keep Grim and Trisha from finally finding their way to each other, but determination and circumstances could help with that. The Scorpions MC is a rival MC that has been a thorn in the RBMC’s side in more than one chapter and the danger lurking behind them is just as evil and will be dealt with by the RBMC in the only way they can be dealt with, the Reapers will. I loved this story, and the characters are just as good in this chapter as they are in the other chapters of the RBMC. Dex “Grim” is now the president of the Tonopah Chapter of the RBMC and he is a dangerous man. All of his MC brothers are dangerous, but he has a little bit more power than they do. When he walks into the Blacktop Bar with his friend and brother Bodie, he is not prepared to see the eyes of his Angel. She’s eighteen years older now, but he would know those eyes no matter what.
Trisha has dreamt of the man that she saw on the side of the road covered in blood since she was ten years old. The man that just walked into the bar where bar tends is sexy and she knows without a doubt that he’s her man. She’s never forgotten him and now that he’s in the same place as her, she’s not sure what to do. She’s had enough trouble in her life to keep her from wanting to add more with the president of an MC. Her stepbrother has proved to her that bikers are not good men, at least not the ones he hangs around with.
This story is full of danger, action, and tragedy that could keep Grim and Trisha from finally finding their way to each other, but determination and circumstances could help with that. The Scorpions MC is a rival MC that has been a thorn in the RBMC’s side in more than one chapter and the danger lurking behind them is just as evil and will be dealt with by the RBMC in the only way they can be dealt with, the Reapers will. I loved this story, and the characters are just as good in this chapter as they are in the other chapters of the RBMC. This is an exciting action packed suspense filled MC romance story.Grim had a hard life an when he was rescued from self destruction by the President of an MC,he taught Grim how to be a man an was training him to someday take over as president.When Grim came too in severe pain he knew he didn't have much time but if it was all he could do was rescue his pres an vice pres then he'd be ok dying .Lockjaw an keys.But he was too late for the go but as he got his pres to the bike they took off like hell was chasing them. Grim knew he wasn't far behind his pres but only wished he could avenge his death when out of nowhere a man told him to choose to die or sell his soul to the devil. After as he was walking toward the road a car hit him.An a young girl ten years old gave him her teddy bear saying he helps her when she feel bad.She looked like an angel. Years later he sees the grown woman she's become an vows to make her his.There are so many twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and you can feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

The more I read of this series, the more I do not want this series to end! I have fallen in love with these characters and I feel like I can feel the emotions they are going through. I also like the way the author includes the other characters stories in each of her books – this just gives you a taste of what is to come in her next book. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.
This is the story of Grim and Trisha. Grim was a part of the Royal Bastards MC before they became Reapers. This book tells you how the Reapers came to be and tells you more of Grim and Trisha’s story. Grim is the President of the MC and is the original Reaper. He met Trisha when she was 10 years old – he always thought of her as his angel – she had the aura about her that was so innocent. Trisha is a waitress at a bar who has had a rough life – abused by those who were supposed to care about her.
This story like the others is full of adventure, vengeance, revenge, passion, twists and turns, and again with the emotions! Grim and Trisha were drawn to each other from the beginning and Trisha was going to let the past determine what she should do in the future. She didn’t think she could be with Grim and Grim had to give her up so she wouldn’t be threatened anymore.

Now 18 years later he had found her and there was no way on this earth he was going to live a day without her. Trish never forgot the man that was injured on the side of the road he stayed in her dreams and now he is back. The attraction between them is off the charts she knows that he will keep her safe. But at a barbecue surrounded by people she knew and trusted and some she hadn’t really met before she meets someone who instantly puts her on alert she doesn’t like him there was something about him. And as soon as she tells Grim the name of this person everything changes. Can he keep her safe all he wants is for them to be together in peace but can Grim and Trish get everything they want????
Oh my Gosh this is an outstanding read that you will not be able to put down they are just amazing together the perfect couple. You’ll be on the edge of your seat so make a cup of tea grab some snacks you will not wanna leave that chair.

Finally we know how the Royal Bastard got their Reapers.
From the prologue, we meet young Dex with his Prez and VP who was captured and tortured to death by the Scorpion. Dying, DeX meet Lucifer and made a deal sign with blood. Agreed to be his Reaper and all the following members that has past the test would be Reapers too. That day Grim the Reaper was born.
Next, early chapter in this book answer the question from Riding for Hell and Holliday Gift novella about what happened six months ago. Told from Grim n Trish's POV we have all the missing puzzles.
The next story following the end of book two Riding for Hell actually only happen in 70%ish
While for Grim n Trish have find their HEA, the war fighting human trafficking with the Russian and the Scorpion still continue.
Can't wait to read the next instalment.

Part of the Royal Bastards MC series, which is so entertaining - non-stop action, dangerous situations, violence, detailed intimacy, descriptive settings, emotional, sometimes terrifying, strong examples of brotherhood and women who are fighters as well as lovers. There is a look at MC culture and paranormal elements. These stories can be read as standalones but reading them all in order will enrich your experience. You get a look at other characters' POV in some shared situations. I was looking forward to this story and it was worth the wait. Grim is the Prez of the Royal Bastards. Trish is the woman he loves and sets free to keep her safe. But is she? Will he be able to protect her and finally claim her as his own? This is a love story with longing, tragedy, revenge and a second chance. If you believe that some souls are meant to be together, you'll enjoy this story even more! 5 stars

WOW is what I have to say. Grim meet Trish when she was but a child. He was hit by a car and she came up to him to talk to him while he was on the ground. She gave him her teddy bear to help him feel better. Grim says she had a golden halo around her so he has always thought of her as an Angel. His Angel. Fast forward 18 years and they meet again. As soon as they see each other they know who the other is instantly. There is so much that can and will happen with these two because he is the president of the MC and he wants nothing more than to be with her and protect her. But we have to see if she will accept this or not. You will love this couple and get the background on some of the MC. Get all of these books and be ready for some paranormal and insta love stories in these.
