Unstoppable Liv Beaufont #8

The Ferocious Force

Rate this book

Mortals have never been more at risk.

Adler Sinclair wants them gone, once and for all.

However, there’s a long list of things Liv Beaufont won’t allow to happen.

First, mortals can’t die. Secondly, the brainwashing has to stop. And thirdly, the person who killed her family is going to pay. Badly.

The stakes have never been higher.

Everyone who Liv cares about is involved in this conspiracy in one way or another. She fears they will all die if she doesn’t save them.

And there’s one complication that Liv didn’t account for. It’s one of the heart.

Love, love, love this series. Liv is finally becoming a reluctant adult. She is fierce and dedicated to solving the riddle of her parents death. Most of all, she wants to find out who is behind the bad thinks happening to her family and the House of Seven. Will she admit she may be finding love along the way? Also, all KU fans, look for the Precious Galaxy. If you haven't read those books yet, a portion of this book won't be so amazing. Please Ms. Nofke, Book 9 soon.

Wow, what a story and it's not the end of the series yet. Aldar is gone....he he finally. Now liv can work on making it the house of 14 again. I wonder what other changes will be coming. I'm losing my love for Rudolph, his being made out to be utterly mad instead of it being funny it's getting annoying.

So outstandingly good

This is such a great ending to true evil in this form. A great take of a young lady finally understanding herself and her family's purpose. Finding love that was always in front of her.

4 - 4.5 stars.

Funny, heartfelt, solid writing and editing as usual. Really happy to see the appearance of romance for Liv. I also liked Liv learning that she can be happy. I thought the revenge scene could have been slightly longer and more climactic; it felt a bit eh to me. But there's still the bigger villain.

Apparently, there's a third arc of the series (I'm assuming ). Not sure how many books that will be. Two to four?

Overall, a really good installment. Lots of progress for the overall plot, which was nice.

Oh my gosh!! I love book 8 so HARD! What a great rollercoaster ride!! I love we get some conclusions and some new beginnings. Plato and Liv are so fun to read. Their banter should never end. I know this series will have a conclusion and I'm excited for it but will be left with a whole in my reading spirit when these characters take their final bow. Im so happy to see some long awaited relationships have blossomed into more. I know some don't want romance but this lady needs atleast a little. This series gives everybody something. The evolution of these characters is fabulous. I laughed out loud quite a few times and my heart kicked up a notch the other times. Can't wait to see what Sarah writes next! I give this book a standing ovation!

This book had it all: bug guts, an outrageous wedding, tender moments, and zombies. All the feels.

Once again, Noffke did a tremendous job with character development. I loved Liv's growth, Plato's moment of honesty, Sophia's bubbly personality, and Stefan's patience/persistence.

Akio hasn't had a huge part in these books, but in this one, he had a great line. "Don't allow your anger to color what you know to be true in your heart." This is something people should pay attention to. Too often anger controls its bearer, and once it diminishes regret fills its space.

I'm loving this series! I've already jumped into book 9.

The Ferocious Force feels like an ending of sorts, but leaves it open for a new ARC. Plenty of questions from the series are answered and despite it being book 8 in the series, it doesn't get old or boring. Liv's friendships and relationships continue to grow and they are there for each other to save the day. Such a fun read.

The Ferocious Force is a fabulous, fun book in the magical Unstoppable Liv Beufont series. For those who have read and enjoyed the previous seven books, this is a must read. You won’t be disappointed! If you haven’t read the other books, I’d strongly recommend starting at book one.

This book was aptly named!

Liv is getting ready to face Adler, in order to stop his planned downfall of humanity. But, before she can do this, she has to see some of her many friends, in order to complete some tasks.

Her first, was to be the Best Man to the Fae King, Rudolf, as he marries his mortal love, Serena. She no sooner has that task finished, after a few problems that are fixed with the aid of her Giant friend, Rory, and his Mother, Bermuda, then they hand her a book, that shouldn't have existed.

Liv realises that she has to do something, and now, to stop Adler before it's too late.

In order to do this, Liv realises that she will need help, in order to try to defeat Adler's plans, and she turns to her fellow Warrior, and friend, Stefan Ludwig, the Demon-hunter, who she literally trusts with her life, to be by her side as she confronts Adler.

As she passes through the Portal that will take her to the Matterhorn, Liv's constant companion, Plato, the Lynx/Cat appears, and gives her some information that changes everything for her.......

I absolutely loved this book!

Liv, like the title, becomes a ferocious fighter for Justice and Truth in this book and, while being helped by friends to complete several tasks, is also doing something that will profoundly change everything they've always known to be the truth!

I couldn't put this book down, again, and I'm really eager to get on to the next one! So, without ado, I'll be starting book nine of this series: The Passionate Delegate, so that I can find out just what happens next!

So, see you on the flip side!

The great thing about being at number 8 in a series is that big things that have been building for so long finally happen. Liv makes the quest to unlock her mother's memories in her sword. The mortals are in peril causing the need for show down between the Sinclairs and Liv and friends. Rudolf finally gets married while Liv starts to get the idea of love and spends quality moments with family.

A few storylines came to an end but still leave space for new possibilities. The important events were numerous for such a short book. All is a bit surface and snark. The dialogue was a bit rough at the start. If you have explain the pun/ joke, then make it should have been edited out. I still appreciate the story and quirky characters and Plato owes a second confession so I imagine I will continue to the end.

My heart is full!

A fae wedding!!
A family fighting by your side and from beyond!!
A hott demon hunter who will lay down his life for you!!
Ok, I am usually not the gooey girl type but this book hit every single pleasure center for me! A quest with lava and a huge boss at the end! (Yes, I do play World of Warcraft so forgive the MMORPG speak or geek speak to the normal human.) A little glimpse of romance, because too much distracts from the story in my opinion. And then reaching the midi boss, this being the boss before the ultimate boss in geek speak. What an absolute joy for me to read!! Thank you Miss Noffke and Mr Anderle, I am truly enjoying my adventure with Liv and her family and friends!

Liv has discovered that it was Adler who killed her parents and for their safety Liv and Clark have to unregister their magic. Now they have to figure out how to destroy the magic-cancelling transmitter, so humans can again see magic and reform the House of Fourteen. Meanwhile, Liv has to be Rudolf’s best man.

Lots of surprises, questions answered and asked, bad things taken care of and silly puns.

Fave scenes: Bermuda’s catch, Indiko’s new home, Liv’s demands when she wakes up, the wedding rings and Stefan & the cat.

Good

This book in the series, has some serious big events…
We see some progress made on the Matterhorn matter, Liv tastes a little romance, and there is a Fae wedding!

All this to say, it’s an action packed serialized story, in which each book is really just a segment of a much larger story, though it has a smaller story within it.
An enjoyable series to read for the urban fantasy fan.

Liv has to do the unthinkable. Not trecking through the jungle the get the last memory he mother left her. That was had. Not battling a tiger, can't say which tiger, though that was deadly. Not climbing a mountain to battling a baddie. That was world saving. No, she had to wear a formal dress and heels. The blasphemy! Funny and action packed as always. Don't cry Plato, your fur will matt.

I've been really enjoying these books. Almost 5 star worthy, but there are a few inconsistencies across the story which seriously bothers me.
I'm also not sure why Rudolf was made into a dimwit. When he was introduced, he had some intelligence. But over the books, he has none, which is not the se character her started as. It's very disappointing.

Knowing that Adler is as evil as he is, it is not easy to defeat him, but Talon helps because true evil has no loyalty nor cares about anything but itself, making it easier for Liv with her support system to make a geniune difference and battle evil more effectively. Her friends gather and Stefan is as ever at hand to make sure she makes it through. Family is forever.

Many secrets buried in time are coming to light, as Liv continues to dig into the history of the Council.
But Liv has her greatest test to date coming at her in this book. Once again there are plenty of laughs along the way as Liv heads to her big showdown
