Eines Tages steht plötzlich ein fremder Mann vor Svenjas Haustür und gibt ihr den Schlüssel zu einem alten VW Bulli, der ihrer Großtante Marga gehört hat. In dem Auto findet Svenja einen USB-Stick, auf dem sich verschlüsselte Dokumente befinden. Neugierig macht sie sich auf die Suche quer durch Deutschland, um die Passwörter zu finden. Dabei bekommt sie Hilfe von einem jungen Mann aus ihrer Schulzeit, der sie vor einigen Tagen überraschend per E-Mail kontaktiert hat. Aber wie war nochmal sein Name? Daniel? Oder David? Oder doch Dominik?
Why on earth would you read in German?
Even Mark Twain said, “When a German dives into a sentence, you won’t see him again until he emerges at the other end with the verb between his teeth.” So, isn’t reading German just frustrating and tiring, making you want to rip the pages out of the book?! Ich bin sehr glücklich diese Autorin zu finden. Ich finde dieses Buch ist nicht so interessant als ihre anderen Bücher, aber es ist noch sehr besser als anderen Deutsch-lerner geschickten I habe gelesen. Ich empfehle es.

I liked this book but I thought the plot was weaker then the other book from this author, Falsche Adresse. The interesting thing is, even though I found the book a bit less captivating and the level of this book was higher so it's supposed to be more difficult to read, I read it twice faster than the other one. Anyway, still five stars. Looking forward to reading another book from Angelika Bohn :)

Thank you for these amazing books. This one is the best one yet according to story line. I had a lot of fun reading this book and I was surprised to see that I could understand it almost completely seeing that I only began reading books in German 3 months back from A1 level.
Otto is definitely the cutest pet ever. The journey that the protagonist takes and all the riddles that comes her way kept me occupied. I totally loved this book.

Solid read
The book provides a good read for B1 German students. The writing is significantly better than many of the independent press offerings for German students. I would also recommend Angelika’s other books.

Zum Lernen ist dieses Buch ziemlich gut, und ich fand es leicht zu lesen. Die Geschichte ist zwar nicht so interessant wie Falsche Adresse, und die Hauptfigur fand ich ehrlich gesagt ein bisschen zickig und unsympathisch, aber sie war trotzdem interessant genug, um mein Interesse wachzuhalten.

Fun way to improve your German language skills

Any comprehensible input will improve your German, so this wasn't a waste of time. But I found the storyline boring and full of plotholes. Not my cup of tea.

Das Buch war sehr nützlich für mich. Die Geschichte ist interessant. Natürlich man beobachtet, dass die Wörter wiederholt werden, aber ich verstehe den Zweck. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Enjoyable Road Trip
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Perhaps better to read it in one or two sittings. Good value book for such a lot of authentic language.
